| Nice episode, Asahi being hypnotized and acting so affectionate towards Maya was cute to see, we even got a lap pillow. No Kilmaria sadly, but at least we got to see Tanya in her casual outfit. |

| Damn, this show is an entertaining watch but Maya with her fantasies.... /sigh Btw, I liked how the very first scene with the flashback was in 4:3 aspect ratio like how older animes were made, nice detail. Tanya, wow those shorts and her outfit in general, nice. She's also a big sister like Maya and it was cute seeing her go on a "date" with her brother. I did not realize that Asahi likes Tanya, I thought it was just friendly interactions as she's the quest giver. Regarding Asahi and the wyvern, I know he threw a rock and the wyvern swallowed it but I think Maya still defeated it (not 100% sure though) and wanted to keep it secret. She did know that Asahi was escorting Tanya. Next episode it looks like Kilmaria and Sophie return and hopefully they go on an adventure together with Asahi and Maya (I can only imagine the antics lol). |

| I was thinking at first that Maya would reject Asahi when he was in his hypnotized state since it’s not his true feelings or something but nah she was all for it lol, lots of funny bits there. But in the end, she found she does love the regular Asahi the best, which was a wholesome ending to that goofy bit. Also due to the opening scene of the two of them as kids, I’m guessing the Asahi we were seeing was a mentally regressed one, that’s what I’m assuming at least. And the 2nd half with Tanya and her bother Roy was another great one, Tanya looks way different in her casual clothes, she was cute before but this is a different flavor of cute lol. And damn Asahi is lucky that Maya was around the corner and saved them from that Wyvern, I respect Asahi’s bravery but he would have died without a doubt, and probably Tanya and Roy as well. A funny bit but I’m wondering if one of these times Maya or Kilmaria isn’t gonna be there. |

| Underneath e v e r y t h i n g is a cute story of a younger brother who wants to protect his sister the way she does him, a story of a sister who can't stand the idea of not being needed by him anymore, and the character development we're seeing the brother begin to take. Of course, in execution, it's boilerplate at best, and frankly this episode is probably one of the most heinous showings for Maya. Plus, the animation is consistently awful here, too, even if I did like the 4:3 aspect ratio for the flashbacks to the previous world. I will say, seeing everyone in nice, different outfits, was cute. Still, bad episode, and Kilmaria was only here for like 5 secs in a hypothetical sequence so she wasn't even physically part of the story this episode. Glad to see she'll be in the next one. Hopefully the rest of the 2nd half of the show can go back to being at least relatively half-decent and actially kinda funny again like episodes 3 and 5 in particular were. I did kinda like how the epusode ended but it didn't save it for me. |

| I've gotta admit, doing the siblings' backstory in the old-school 4:3 style has a look that isn't all that bad, showing that Asahi has always been on the heels of Maya's protection, that he wants to change the status quo. The demons under one of the Demon King's 6 Generals, Stelopeth the cyclops, he can't possibly be in match with Maya's OP powers. The lowly demons dancing to beg their lives, and Asahi is influenced on their good graces...to be on the opposite spectrum after being hit with Confusion on him to edge towards Maya, and the brocon for sure warrants their lives for her own gain to brainwash her own brother by hook or by crook, even when he bumps on the head. The cringey sibling love taking to another level on a dream, and Brondeth comes the revenge of his brother to best the hero, even if Asahi did have a "shining" moment of bravery to protect his older sister. It's so hilariously stupid how Maya always will feel powered up when Asahi even as an inch of affection towards her, even when he's turned back to normal. The guild receptionist Tanya taking off when Asahi is finding her, and she looks all cute and pretty in her normal clothing. Instead of a date, it's more like babysitting her little brother Roy, which makes her the big sister character. Even he has heard of Asahi from the rumours, and since she is on an escort job, he must not allow their request, but has literally no choice. Just hope that there're no strong monsters on the way, while Roy is still shy trying to open up. But a wyvern shows up somehow, and captures Asahi, Tanya and Roy surprised, and since he doesn't want to be seen as the fake adventurer, somehow what he did with his mediocre skills, managed to defeat it, and kept his secret intact for now. A decent episode for one, and with some character progress. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| I think this was a good episode. It was really cute when Asahi acted like his former younger self towards Maya nee when a monster came up to both of them and threatened to take their lives. And Asahi really loved his sister when those rock monsters were doing their dance. On the other hand, I think this episode showed a little bit about what it means as a younger sibling to be able to protect the older sibling. It is just that you got to work hard enough in order to be able to protect your older sibling. |
| Huh... looks like Maya-nee actually wants to "seggs" Asahi, she revealed it when he got hypnotized. (or more like he regressed in time back to his child personality when he loved his sis a lot and wants to protect her even tho he's weaker) But it ended when Maya accidently killed the trio golems and Asahi got hit by a meteor?... where did it came from? seems awfully conveniently timed to hit Asahi right at that time huh.... . Also... where's Sophie? I thought she joined Asahi's party, so why didn't she go with them to the village being attacked? . LOL @ Asahi attacking the Wyvern and the Wyvern got confused. But then he throws the meteor and it exploded inside the Wyvern... WTF is even that meteor? lol.... . And then it ends with Asahi + Tanya + lil'bro going into the sunset like a "Family"... LOL Meanwhile the Wyvern was trying to get back up but gets STEP ON by Maya-nee... ___ ___ ___ I would say Step on Me But I fear that I would actually turn into smithereens due to Maya's strength... Ahhh, the step, Ohhh, AHHHHH~~~Ded. |

| Asahi gets hypnotized on and off again until one of the six demon generals interrupts Maya’s hypnotism. Their sibling dynamic is so fantastical and novel, in a bad way it’s like negative fan service. Tanya and her younger brother Roy join Asahi on a date but end up getting cornered by a wyvern. I’m surprised Asahi had the strength to stand up knowing he can’t fight even if his life depended on it. That rock was well timed and placed. episode was decent not much plot development |
