| Wow she actually left the village and it's just been only 6 episodes. I totally thought she'd be in the village for most of the season. |

| The series is really starting to catch its stride. |
Armed with explosion magic, Megumin can finally start her self-expedition...though at this stage, she's hardly recognized for it. Out of jobs, she and Bukkorori being NEETs, it's a damning inditement on her life as a job hunter lols. And within a night of explosion magic within the village, Yunyun immediately accusing Megumin for her magic to defeat the Demon Lord's Army, this isn't working out. Though Yunyun provided her rival for a fair few jobs...that have their own intricacies, they're torn and battered. To release all that stress, a daily release of explosion magic that has Bukkorori coming to see the commotion, and Megunmin just casually releasing information on the Mad Explorer, it may be a lie, but it's not a lie either as a similar demon woman that Megumin described, drops by her house, and Arnes pledges her allegiance...to Chomusuke. Though she has the money, Megumin delays a day. The next day, Yunyun got a shock that Megumin is selling Chomusuke to Arnes for 300,000 eris, though the demon cat is unwilling to give itself to her, which he exposes that Arnes indeed is the Mad Exploder that both Megumin and Yunyun are sure for now that they will never hand Chomusuke to her. Though Arnes subconsciously collapsed to Chomusuke about promises, Bukkorori has to drop around to attract all worthless men to her compound...and I feel so bad about her being a magnet of men with a vast amount of mana that sucks to her. Megumin, tired of all the hoop-la back at home, still wants to venture out on her own, and leaves Chomusuke with her as both girls part ways. A promise made to Komekko that she'll be alright, and as Megumin leaves the Crimson Demon village onwards to Alcanretia, the farewell with Funifura's iconic staff and Arue's iconic eyepatch that has long restricted her power that she wants to be a writer to write of Megumin's adventures, it's time to go. Onwards to more Megumin-centric adventures! |

| Man, this episode really got me emotional. And we're just halfway through the series?! Normally this kind of feels are reserved for the last episodes. I hope the series won't go downhill from here. Cause I've had a blast. The show just got better and better in the last few episodes. I never thought I'd be SO invested in Megumin and Yunyun's relationship. Their parting felt so sad even if I knew they'd meet a lot of times in the future. And thankfully, in the preview, it seems they're going to reunite very soon. :) |

| That's how Megumin got her iconic eyepatch and now she's off on her great journey. Back to back profound episodes and no shortage of fun either. Lying and selling Chomosuke? Megumin at her worst. Harvesting potatoes was also hilariously traumatizing lmao |

| Though the comedy from this spin-off still doesn't match how good it was on the original series and the movie, the show is undoubtedly getting better. We got emotional moments, but also fun and crazy stuff as usual. I can't believe Megumin would will to sell Chomusuke that easily xD... well, I actually CAN believe it. |

| Now that mal is back after being down for a few days I can finally post my chonky reviews lol I guess not being able to find a job is a good reason to want to leave on a journey lol, but man it was a really heartfelt goodbye, especially from Komekko and Yunyun. I also like that we now know most of Megumin’s defining features of her look came from her friends, including Arue’s totally normal eyepatch lol. I’m sad to see Megumin leaving the funny little village already but I’m looking forward to her coming journey! And not only that, we also finally met Arnes after her having one scene earlier in the show, and if I’m not mistaken that thing she has on her that’s attracting “worthless men” came from Megumin’s dad lol. She’s fun tho, she seemed really serious at first but once she went crazy about promises she kinda mellowed out, and she also has a nice character design, hope to see more of her if she didn’t suffer certain death by the crimson demons lol. |
| Megumin and Yunyun as well as Komekko's interactions were unusually wholesome to see, more so than usual. Even though I already know these two will meet up again, I kinda felt something when they parted. |

| I feel bad for Arnes. She has the worst luck with men. Not only did she pay 300k eris for Chomusuke but couldn't get her. She was interrupted by the blood lust of men in Megumin's village. It's kinda funny how Megumin struggled to find a job after graduating but was able to barter for 300k from a demon lol. |

| And we're slowly heading toward the point where Megu starts to travel toward the direction of the impending doom... I mean... the group of disaster, LOL And this is where Megu and Yunyun went separate days... and Megu gets her current equips Arue best onee-chan, she has a lot of potential and magic power, but decide to go the writer route huh... . BTW, "I am sad to leave her too, BUT I WANT THAT 300,000 dollar" LOOOOOL, Corpa Megu huh... . And poor Arnes... her misfortune seems to be coming from the bracelet that Megu's parents made... Now it makes sense how Megu's family has such bad luck and is poor.. It's all from the the stupid magic accessories Megu's dad is making... OOF. . I'll be missing the Academy girls as Megu goes to the next zone. |

| Must be hard for Megumin finding roles that require spells other than explosion. Letting off the explosion to show her frustration really is like Megumin. Quite the variety of jobs they ended up trying though. But can't be fun being clubbed by sentient potatoes. So Lady Wolbach's lakey finally arrives. Such a poor side effect though being a magnet for men. The farewell scenes was pretty cute and heartwarming. So that was where Megumin got the eyepatch from. |
