Damn, I hope Ichirou can take care of himself better, or at least his health. The guy doesn't seem too capable physically when he's weak.

So glad to see the Kuga kids protrayed with tons of personality added to this show, and they behave just like kids would. Shiori even has quite a personality herself imo and she's making great impressions of her character imo. Feels like this anime is taking slow but realistic approaches at developing Ichirou and Shiori's relationship.

Shiori seems clueless about a lot of things which might lead to some funny situations but also so bad ones like the fact that she wasn't aware that they guys had other intentions with her despite reading manga.
The main also seems pretty clueless at times tho.
Still it's nice to see them get close like that they have to learn a lot from each other and the surrounding.

Oh welp, because of the Star Princess's customs and traditions, she must hook herself with Ichiro, but this to him still feels unreal, so what to do about it?

Ichiro's editor giving him the day off to do whatever he likes, but he falls ill, to which his younger siblings won't give him the time of rest. The real reason being of the bond between him and Shiori, though unintentional to make him this way. These burdens or retributions are too much of a forbearance, though in both of their cases, as bizarre as it sounds, it's pretty much a necessity. With that, Shiori moves into the tenant room, though how they want to deal with this pact, it's of fine balance.

The Princess going shopping with Ichiro, and what he can find of any semblance with regards to where she came from, is stuff of urban legends that their people preach to the youngsters. The tale of her grandmother allowing her to leave home as opposed to her mother opposing her not to, it's a new feeling for her, that she still doesn't understand sketchy human relations to the point of inflicting karma on Ichiro. Since she has worked so hard to draw for a living, terminating the contract is one thing, but for now, learning the rules is the most important, at least for now.

A cohabitation of a human and an alien, interesting to see where it goes from here.

Now, i'm sure there is, will be a good explanation for all that galaxy stuff ... but i feel its kind of redundant, for now, why not just make it a regular rom-com thing. Cause for now it's really just kinda weird, lol.

Still, the main-kun's siblings are for now, the most adorable little things in this show. But Shiori is getting there, make absolutely no mistake.

I love how they are going to learn about each other more and more throughout the series.

Shiori helping Ichirou understanding the Star People, the curse, and the Annulment and in return Ichirou teaching Shiori more about the normalcy that goes on in the world and what to watch out for.

I am looking forward to seeing these two and how their relationship will bloom from here!

I was already hooked with the simple cute girl helping a struggling mangaka plot, but the supernatural aspect adds a lot to the story. I think they both have a lot to teach each other. The star people and their island is really interesting. I didn’t expect such cool lore. Can’t wait for next week

It's a mix between weird and wholesome, but I hope their relationship will develop nicely, at least they are able to talk things through.

Interesting second episode and a strange way to force the two leads to be at together but enjoying it so far. I haven’t read the manga but I’m guessing the main drama of this show, about 9 episodes in, will be the mother sending a fiancé from the island for her? Also the siblings are the best part of this show by a mile

The 1st ep surprised with the whole otherworldly story, but somehow I think it's kinda weird and lame now, I'd probably prefer a more normal romcom ngl, but well this isn't exactly the problem with this anime... Anyway, it feels empty somehow, and the only remotely good thing about it is Goshiki, that being said she isn't even charismatic.

I love the manga, and I look forward to every episode. This is a fair adaptation, but I think things will pick up, and it may end up being a great anime. My complaint is the over-explanation of the Star People. In the manga, it was left a little vague. The reader is never quite sure what is outer space science fiction, what is rural island legend, or what is supernatural. And it's better that way. No need to try to explain everything to the anime viewer.

This episode revealed there’s a lot more to being in a marital relationship due to touching Goshiki’s stinger than it simply being a cultural thing, Ichiro has all the sudden bit off more than he can chew but he’s taking it really well surprisingly. Being away from you makes me sick? No big deal lol, I like it this way tho, Ichiro is a chill lad and so is Goshiki so they can get things across to each other easily. And it also makes me wonder if there’s even more than what we saw here.

I also wasn’t expecting to learn more about the Star People so soon, so the island physically exists and they’re the way they are because of a meteorite that had parasitic microorganisms in it, I know Goshiki said it’s coexistence but so far I’ve only seen negative effects so I’m going with parasite for now lol. And lastly I really enjoyed their pseudo date with each other, lots of cute moments there, especially loved Goshiki dressing up and shopping for manga.

I wanted to like this series but I'm really struggling... Reminds me of "The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten," which I also dropped because of the bitchy, bland female lead and the excessive talking with lack of settings/action. The lore of female lead's island is sort of nice, but the 'You can't leave my side for even a moment or you'll be sickened, and you can't make me upset or hurt me (even if it's a misunderstanding) or you will be punished!' is not just inconvenient to the male lead, but unfair and pushy in this relationship they are meant to be part of. Seems very one-sided. A cookie-cutter of "Angel Next Door" with an "aliens" slant stamped on it to disguise it. I may give it one more try by watching the next episode but so far I'd give it a 4/10.

Nobody tell Umbrella, they'd want that symbiote for their totally legit and aboveboard pharmaceutical research.

This show is so chill and wholesome, very enjoyable. Not sure what to think of the hinted drama regarding Chibi-chan but have to see where they take it.

out of context: man gets nosebleed just by the touch of a woman, hentaii!

jokes aside, goshiki is a lot cuter than i initially thought from episode 1.
also, something tells me goshiki has a thing for black dresses, just a hunch.

Somehow this feels nice to watch. Like it has that iyashikei feels that mixes well with the not too sweet romance growing between the MCs. Might be a good balancer to the other animes this season.

Not sure how I feel about the animation style. It feels a little childish? So they previously had her version of sex, right? She did say it only happens when you're married. I don't like that she only wears dark clothes, but I guess stars are in space and space is dark. Shiori seems really flat, like no personality and I hate her weird stares. I'm surprised she didn't carry around her umbrella when they were outside.
As a wise man once said, "No one hates anime more than anime fans"

Yeah this romcom is kind of weird with the star people thing which looks like it is a parasite that was on a meteorite and affected the people on the island. Although when Ichirou touched the stinger he had visions of a galaxy so not sure if it's a hallucination from the stinger or he now has a parasite inside of him (who knows).

Anyways, their shopping date was ok and finding out that she can attack him by him just grabbing her arm is another weird thing. I have mixed feelings on this romcom (not much comedy so far) but I'm still curious where this goes (the preview for the next episode looks like it may get better).

Very feelgood series so far :) I really like Goshiki! ❤️ And I'm glad the series isn't big on fanservice. I like the focus on their shared interest in creating manga, and how their relationship isn't forced, even though it easily could've been based on the whole stinger premise. I like that Goshiki wants to go her own way and figure out how that can look, and how they're both respectful to each other. Very sweet. I like the siblings as well, they bring a lot of warmth to the household and did great welcoming Goshiki into their world.

I really wish this was just a normal romcom. The beginning idea seemed to me that he would fall for his assistant manga artist, but when this whole thing about outer space and a tail came in, it was a bit dumb IMO. I'll keep watching and maybe I might like it more

Out of all the Ah my Goddess copycat titles I've seen, this is probably the weirdest I've seen (not in a bad sense).

I guess I'll have to watch a few more episodes in order to either get the groove or just ditch it, but so far among the other romcom like shows of the season, this is def in my bottom list.

I find it interesting to note that Japanese authors began to make works that slightly change the roles (male and female) in terms of the couple's behavior. The woman often plays the role that would be destined for the man. I still don't know if I'm going to like this!

Very cute indeed. Goshiki sure has the self-defense mechanism. LOL. But, it was nice to see them getting close to each other. They can't be separated, he'll get a fever and other times, he gets sneezes and nosebleeds if he mistakenly forces himself on her. Pretty cool powers ngl. But, a very cute show indeed.
