Holy shit, seeing Izana and his presence in this finale really felt like something special. Not only that but this is setting up for the next arc too.

Izana's group in this timeline is no joke an we see their toughness. It's kinda crazy that regardless what timeline, Takemichi can never find peace as it is. Crazy finale!

New season arc announced!

Takemichi fuel-burned over Mikey's new timeline disposition, and it's normal that he feels angry that nothing has changed. And Chifuyu learning of the awful truth, that Takemichi is using a playground wheel as his punching bag to be stronger, to the point that he can't forgive himself. The crybaby finding it tough to accept that Mikey killed everyone, but what's a future without Chifuyu. Though Takemichi couldn't handle Mikey, but both of them could, and he's not alone in his venture to have Toman on his side, to save Mikey and everyone as his last revenge, to be Toman's strongest. After a rest time, the conception that Kisaki needed Mikey, and that his booting from Toman for revenge, led him to Yokohama's Tenjiku gang of leader Izana Kurokawa, the largest and "final" battle in the history of Toman, starts here.

Unforutnately, Takemichi's friends got into trouble with said group just as both himself and Chifuyu lands in Shibuya and raring to go against the Yokohama gangs. The gang confrontation with Chifuyu saving Akkun with Takemichi piggybacking him in toll, and Chifuyu is clearly outnumbered towards the 300 people-strong gang, leading Takemichi to go back for him. With Tenjiku occupying the streets, Akkun and the gang of friends are no longer students, and they share Takemichi's vision, though clearly outmatched.

And one former person is at the helm: the booted Kisaki, which this marks the start of the Kanto Incident.

At least the Christmas Showdown arc is still as good as per Ken Wakui's standards, though I can still see another season incoming for the rest of the manga's content. And as expected, the Kanto Incident a.k.a Tenjiku-hen / Tengu arc gets its own adaptation.

Overall another mid season, at least season 1 was a little more fun.

This final episode was kinda meh too.

Though I'm not surprised a sequel was announced.

Season two was alright. the tenjiku arc is the best arc in the series so I’m glad it’s getting animated.

My bae died right in my arms, so I'll go back and somehow try to do something in the past.. yet again.. without a plan.

Unremarkable sequel of an unremarkable series. But hey this ain't the end, third season is already coming. Atleast it has some good moments to look forward to.. although very few.

Lmao wait so 300 dudes get off the JR line at Shibuya, start assaulting people and NO ONE stops them, no security, no police, no decent human beings??? Shit’s so dumb man

Thank God this is over. Show is good if you totally turn off the logical part of your brain and just watch to see how silly things are, but man the characters were painfully stupid in this season.

People saying the next arc better, I doubt it but we’ll see

Man, why does this show always get cliffhanger season finales?

I might be the only one who enjoyed this season more than season 1. Though not that I remember much from season 1 anyway.

I think the fewer number of episodes was better. It felt more digestible than season 1 which felt like a slog.

There are still parts of the series that annoy me. And things that don't make much sense if you think about them for more than a few minutes.

But it was the perfect show to watch before going to sleep for me. I guess that's why I found it more enjoyable?

In the end, I watched both season 1 and season 2 on a whim. But not sure if I'd watch season 3 unless it has a shorter length like this season.

It ends in high note just like the last season! First with Takemichi let his emotion outburst to Chifuyu, I've a feeling deep inside that anything is possible when Takemichi is with Chifuyu, even though Chifuyu is already belong to Baji. And the Yokohama gang, Takemichi somehow get the idea of beating Yokohama gang from manga, but he doesn't have to chase this idea, this idea is chasing him instead LOL.

Good to have season 3 announcement, not good when I've to wait a year, if not years, to watch it, so I hope they bring my Taiju back. And no matter what happen, please never ever change any voice actor again.

Episode that anticipated the Tenjiku arc of the third series (already announced),the best of the whole manga. Yeah surprised they concluded with the start of the new arc. The season was enjoyable but not so memorable.

Takemichi of course couldn't read the room and play along with Akkun to pretend like they don't know each other 🀦‍β™‚οΈπŸ€¦‍β™‚οΈπŸ€¦‍♂️ and wait, all those Tenjiku dudes who are clearly in good shape couldn't catch up to Takemichi when he was carrying another whole human on his back??? Lol ok I guess.

Welp, things are already starting to pop off in what's apparently looking to be the biggest conflict in the series. Much like S1, this season ends with a cliffhanger confrontation between Takemichi and Kisaki. I'm an anime-only, but I think it's safe to assume that the ending is heavily implying and all but confirming that
Next season is already confirmed so I imagine that should be coming soon.

I got the same enjoyment from this season as last season, decently enjoyable but the goofy moments really stand out. I wish I could overlook the ridiculous aspects that take away from my enjoyment but even if I turn off my brain, those parts of the show are just too in your face for me to ignore πŸ’€ but I still find, to a degree, some enjoyment and entertainment out of this.

I've said this before but I swear to god there is ZERO adult supervision in this series πŸ’€ (middle schoolers by the way lol).

And so we end with Takemichi once more in the past, now resolved to stay there until what needs to be done...is done. And to begin that seems like taking on Kisaki's new gang!

Well my fandom when it comes to this particular franchise has definitely grown since watching season 1 blind back when it originally aired. I liked it quite a bit, despite thinking the back half wasn't as good as the front and that Takemichi himself needed to show more urgency. That little problem never came up in this second season thankfully. But I liked season 1 so much that I decided to start collecting the physical releases of the manga that started recently over here. I'm up to date on those, but seeing as how they're so far behind I'm still watching the anime pretty much blind, and this second season was another good one. I enjoyed the Black Dragons arc and these latest developments have certainly left me eager to see what comes next. I'm very pleased we'll be getting more animated as well. I hope we get a full adaptation tbh. But uh yeah, another solid 8/10, one of my top 3 anime that aired in the winter season. And the last one I've finished that isn't either airing next season or was delayed like Kubo-san and BOFURI season 2.

Oh and this last episode also happened to be the 18,500th episode of anime I've watched as far as stats here are considered so...cool. XD

holy crap this entire last episode was a banger but was kisaki saying he could also travel in time? that would explain a lot. right now we really needed at least akkun or someone to go back to base and report what was going on but they didn't and now we are left with one hell of a cliffhanger.

Lol they really end it with Kisaki again facing a kneel down Takemichi. Good take for the final i guess.

Honestly, this feels uninteresting and boring than the first one already done, and the fights kinda dull too, but i can take it all cause of Yuzuha easily stole my heart. Hope she's return with whatever reason later.

One more season is fine, but i doubt it'll create a good hype into the surface. Tho with Kisaki scheme still hittin the ground, and then those new guy which reminds me of Kazutora, i feel like i may can take one or two more shot because why not.

So yeah see y'all on the next flip!

Good episode, but they ended it off on an awkward note compared to season 1's cliffhanger ending. Imo the studio should've ended this at episode 12 and left episode 13 to be the first episode for season 3.

Overall this season was a slight let down, definitely weaker than season 1. It had good ideas that weren't executed as they could have been, mainly Taiju and black dragon. Pacing issues were prevalent as well. One thing I did like was that revelation with future Mikey in the last episode.

Anyways it's whatever i guess, hope season 3 picks up again.

7/10 season

this trainwreck of a season is finally over and i couldn't be more glad. what a disappointment this has been.
welp, seems there's a new gang on the scene. the tenjuku gang and with that, it seems season 3 has also been announced, or so i hear. hope it improves but i don't really expect it it to, so i hope they surprise me. chifuyu and akkun tryna save takemichi's ass but him being the dumbass that he is lmao i'm not even surprised. chifuyu looked like a baddie in the pool tho, no homo.

thinking abut this season just makes me sighhhhhhhhhhhh but i'll give some credit. i liked yuzuha, taiju's VA as he was gintoki's VA and that one wholesome episode after the fight which was the only good episode. overall a 4/10 for, a major disappointment. i never wanna rewatch this season again but fingers crossed next one isn't as bad as this.

i guess if there's one thing tokyo revengers can do it's end seasons off with a huge cliffhanger. im assuming that cliffhanger will lead to us finding out kisaki can also time travel? that'd be a huge stick in takemichi's plan, but would be really interesting.

this season was alright. the plotlines themselves are good, but sometimes the execution just isn't there. i excited for the next season though, and overall i do like the show. i hope it comes soon

CAN'T WAIT TO START THE NEXT ARC ALREADY XD The BONDS in this show are really one of the STRONGEST!

For even the weakest group, they'll fight together. The AMAZING STRENGTH, BONDS, AND AWESOMENESS OF THE TOKYO REVENGERS CHARACTERS IN THE PAST are why I care the characters would end up that way in the future; corrupt, threatened, suicidal, dead

It's just a MUST REASON why Takemichi can no longer stop at Hina, he has to fight up the leadership, control Toman, destroy rival gangs, and continue attempt in Kisaki's shadow to change the future for the better and be the hero to save everyone!

I LOVE TOKYO REVENGERS without even need you to explain the time travel. SHAKE MY HAND NAOTO !!! From the epic action and tough characters, IT PASSES DOWN AN ADMIRABLE STORY !!!
