The backstory of the Kingdom of Fourland, from the kingdom of Trapla to birth 13 soldiers from 4 lands to birth 52 playing cards: The King and the 52 Knights, shown in a glamorous auction and dinner party aboard a cruise ship.

Upcoming car manufacturer Who's Who's CEO Norman "King" Kingstat is definitely after the prized possession of the 5 of Diamonds, with High Card infiltrating the cruise and this mission heist not doing well for Finn being seasick.

But regardless, this mission has to go on like clockwork, and while one of King's aides Blist manages to stop the heist with Leo and King duking out in the auction bid. But the victor being the Klondikes stealing the card, it was a lack of foresight on Leo's part, and Norman's rivalry over Leo...is just part of his personality swift.

Kinda of an amusing episode, at the very least.

King is such a based man. Guy is a CEO and really went "Welp, can't take away my workers rights" if only actual CEOs would be like him

Aw, no backup plan? I was expecting the swerve that they pulled the job at the end. I thought Chris would have a spare card up his sleeve(heh)

An amusing episode, but not the best one by any means. A heist on the cruise ship, where a bidding war on the 5 on diamonds was taking place. It seems that Pinochle's elaborate plan just went up into smoke once the Klondikes swooped in. I expected Pinochle to be better prepared than that.

A rather weak episode if you ask me. Constant vomit "jokes" were so out of place and anything but funny. The King fella basically carried this one

A weaker episode tbh but we did get some worldbuilding and lore about the origin of fourland. The idea of someone having all 52 cards at once is insane.

King as a character was pretty annoying and a caricature of gay men that we get a lot of in anime.

Blitz was cool, thought bro was static shock for a minute lol

Thought Pinochle might win at the end and grab the card but nope, klondikes with another W.

The plan to swap the cards started out well at first although the part with Vijay's plant going through the duct work was a little too oulandish. King seemed to have anticipated meddling by Pinochle group and had one of his henchmen fight Chris. Wendy getting wasted was kind of funny but the surprise was the Klondikes stealing the card at the end via a helicopter.

King was an amusing character but now the Klondikes have another card in their possession. Overall I thought the episode was good, went by fast, and had some suspense.

We get a brief history on how the X-playing cards came to be and why they are so powerful. However, High Card's plan of stealing the 5 of diamonds card went up in smoke when they ran into Blist who works for the Who's Who's company led by King. In the end, the Klondike family were the ones who ended up stealing the card from under their noses.

Backstory of the origin of the cards and then in present in a cruise ship in order to steal a card with many contenders. A series easily to grasp many movies references but i expected more about about the card power system and development. Yeah a soft action anime. In this episode we saw probably who is the band to beat.

LOL the plan was rather silly and mostly unnecessary. Finn could've given the key directly to Chris, the rest of them didn't even need to touch it but somehow everyone was involved. The part with the employee and his key card should have been a separate part. And there was no reason to give the card on the last possible second 😂
compared to the other episodes this one was the weakest and pretty silly

A little story telling about Kingdom of Fourland, seemed interesting.

High Card is after the card of 5 but King wants it as well, so they outbid each other while High Card is working on a plan to swap the card with an fake one, ofcourse that plan doesn't go as planned and probably the Klondikes end up stealing the card in the aftermath, which sucks for both of the teams. Also Finn being sea sick was kind of funny to see, he did his best though even though the plan went up to flames.

Dude's got the infinity gauntlet of electricity

Wendy more so distracts the security guard instead of downright seducing him. It ended up being effective, but things would've been far more interesting indeed if they had taken the more lewd route.

They sure got lucky though in that neither of the two guards at the vault saw a vine drop the card into Chris' hand

After last week's episode, there's not much hard plot stuff today. But i feel like that's okay because the "filler" was pretty good.

There was finally some proper explanation for the first episode and more infos about the setting.

Seeing Pinochle fail was good to destroy the "OP main characters" aura they had so far. Wendy getting drunk, Chris just not being able to take anyone out with his all-defense ability, Finn suffering from sea sickness and lack of combat expertise... And Leo not trusting his teammates was the best. He just took his father's money and started an all-out bidding war. Vijay once again got little spotlight, but he was really cool, all calm and trying to fix everything. He'll probably need a real vacation after this one.

Who's Who might become a proper Rival/Anti-Hero team. Since Brendy's ability didn't even get revealed, I guess this was not the last of them.

Good point! It'd be sweet if this blunder comes back to bite them in the ass when the 5 Diamonds turned out to be a very strong one when used against them

Is anyone else starting to feel suspicious of Chris? For some reason, he seemed to go out of his way to convince the boss to let Finn join the mission, which was ultimately the reason why they failed.

That didn't go according to plan huh? Good to see that Finn was trusted enough to be on the mission even if he ended up being part of the screw up. King was too flamboyant for his own good.
