Just after writing this comment I watched the 6th episode of Frieren, and I must say it's starting to get better. A new member joins the party, we got a real battle scene that's longer than 10 seconds, and Fern shows some actual emotions.

So based on this, I can say that you may watch 2 more episodes and see if it's worth continuing.

I agree with your Frieren review. I don't mind slow and more philosophical shows, but I'm getting frustrated that I'm watching this for nothing, and it starts to feel like a waste of time that won't give me anything in the end. Because the only reason someone might find this show special is the pure enjoyment value, which I, personally, didn't get.

Also, I wanted to congratulate you for having one of the very few mixed feelings Frieren reviews that got more likes than dislikes.
