| Not exactly the beach episode but we do get the most fan service out of this one with the swimsuits. It looks like whenever rare material comes up, these girls are excited to collect. It's this type of enthuaism that make their jobs fun. |

| The obligatory swimsuit episode. Can't complain. Nice battle with the monster. Lol. I love Sarasa are Lorea's smiles. Aww, what a cute little creature. Delicious looking cookies. Good job, Lorea! :3 And she even learned to swim. Nice character development for her. That blush. Someone is in love. <3 That campfire scene with Iris playing her flute and Lorea singing was really wholesome. |

| Well the girls did get their shells after some trouble. It's clear that the most important thing for the girls is food seeing how much time they spend on it this episode. The monster was pretty strong this time. |

| A bit of fan-service, with a short explanation of Sarasa's amulet, and a heartwarming ending scene. The story seemed to take a backseat for this episode, as with all fan-service episodes; the pacing was decent though. Art style's consistent, with no real animation problems at all. | Yep, the obligatory beach fanservice episode, because girls just gotta have fun. Sarasa's business is booming thanks to the purchase-cum-selling of monster parts, and both Iris and Kate may have found just the ingredient to save themselves to repay Sarasa...only except that the marsen clams aren't that much valuable contributing to alchemy, but only to regular food for Lorea's cooking. Closing up shop to visit Yok Village's lake that is pretty much both predatory and secluded, they really treated it like a picnic of sorts before getting it on the job to harvest what they're looking for, as much as they can find. For both Lorea and Sarasa, it's just a moment of relaxation and a swimming lesson for the former who can't swim, and then trying by herself to swim towards Sarasa on her own in a short distance. The romantic bias from Sarasa though. But Iris and Kate's problems only escalate through this monster called the ligarex, a slimy monster that electrocutes akin to an electric eel. But where her magic is more than enough to defeat it, her amulet which acts as a limiter went off, which shocks everyone. At the end of the day, the reward is what matters, and other than the marsen clams, the ligarex is also served as food. The day off worked well for all. |

| Sarasa is so lovely in her swimsuit, Lorea is so adorable in her swimsuit as well as she tried cooking earlier, Iris is so cute as she clumsily does things at her own pace but her swimsuit was a bit lacking, and Kate is so pretty in her swimsuit... a perfect fit. Sarasa blushed as she adores her cute little sister trying to swim and as she was hugged by this cute little creature, she, again, blushed. (No yuri intended) Nice fan service we're having here. The animation wasn't bad at all. P.S. The moment I saw something like a tentacle and then some mucus, I already know where this were going... lmao Overall, it is thanks to their VA's that their characters are so cute and adorable, especially, Lorea's. (Don't forget the theme songs and the wonderful vibe of the anime as well). |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

| Now this was a nice SoL episode except for the giant eel part. Iris seems to get into the most trouble as she got stung and also eats so fast lol (she also got into trouble in the cave with the ice bats in a previous episode). I'm glad that Lorea was able to come along instead of staying back and she provided a great looking lunch. I got a bit of yuri vibes from Sarasa and that's ok. I'm glad that all the girls enjoyed themselves and helped each other out when they got into trouble with the giant eel, and they even ate a part of it for their dinner along with clam chowder, nice. |
| I'd of preferred this be the seventh 7th eps so I could continue my belief that anime has the 7th rule with hot springs or beach episodes, so I'm going to settle on the +1/-1 rule I'm now introducing for more modern anime ;P Good eps, loved it! |

| Solid SOL vibe beach episode. The cute new creature can stay - hope it makes a reprisal and gets a name. Grilled eel (yum) and clam chowdah for supper with awesome campfire music. Wrapped in chill fanservice, tight animation, and a comfortably-couched storyline (business is booming), this is a brilliant Monday-morning escape. |

| This might be my favorite episode so far, I didn’t expect a pseudo beach episode but I really should have with the goal being getting to a lake lol, but it was awesome. Really wholesome stuff when the girls were just chilling by the lake, and then having Iris and Kate look for clams while Sarasa teaches Lorea how to swim, and not to mention the tasteful fanservice from those swimsuits on Iris and Kate lol. I also loved that bit where the flower ended up being a bug and got on Iris’ face, that would definitely freak me out irl but it was hilarious here. Of course the wholesome fun time was interrupted by a giant slimy eel monster, it was actually good action too, it was fun to watch the girls fumble while trying to do damage to it, complete with a tentacle scene on Kate lol. But it wouldn’t last long when Sarasa accidentally unleashes too much power to defeat it because her pendant fell off, it’s interesting that shes not just skilled from Ophelia’s teaching but also naturally OP. But yeah definitely a favorite of mine so far, and we also got the ED once again! |
| when that giant monster showed up, I had the feeling it would be killed and cooked into a delicious meal. lol oh, and those guy adventurers were saying Sarasa's shop is cool and comfortable. Her shop probably has some sort of "airconditioning". She could make cooling hats, so it's safe to assume she could cool her own shop as well. profits earned. enjoying the anime so far. looking forward to next week. the creature somehow looked like Pikachu in this pic. xD |

The comic adaptation, as usual, is taking a much more slow paced and exhaustive approach in adapting the source material compared to the anime adaptation. In chapter 20 (still available for free on the official site) of the comic you can easily notice that the girls have just started producing and selling the cooling hats, and that puts the comic adaptation just one step behind the anime one. Also, calling something filler despite the fact that you have no idea if the events transpired in it will have any lasting impact on the story and/or the characters is just silly. |

| Camping episode. And apparently Sarasa only thought about the Alchemy part of the Clam, until Lorea shows her the Clams can be turn into Soup (aka Clam Soup). "I want the girls to have a nice refreshing day, since they're always helping out the shop" (she totally forgot they're working to pay off their Debts, not helping out, but rather they have to, tho the girls enjoy the work) ___ ___ ___ LOL @ Iris, got tricked by the mantis pretending to be a flower. Delicious looking Lunch Lorea made, and a little squirrel joins in for the food. Also... where did the swimsuit came from? Cause from the sound of it, Lorea wasn't planning to go for a swim and never bought her swimsuit. Did Sarasa bought one for her beforehand? (LOL @ Lorea trying to make cookies, cute) And we also got the Yuri vibe. Lorea is so innocent, LOL (unlike Sarasa, who blushes cause she's aware) LOL @ the giant Bloodsucker outta no where. But apparently it just wants to eat the Clams. And apparently the Amulet is to keep her real power level down, LOL ___ ___ ___ Then they spend the night around the campfire with Iris fluting while Lorea sings lalala. This was a much better episode for "Slice-of-Life" cause there isn't much CORPA. Since majority of the Clams and the surprise Bloodsucker are used as Food and not Alchemy. |
