Two victories ... But Dracovish really did his best too. But really this Cinderace is too strong ... Really ... And we are for the last battle : Pikachu vs Charizard. |

| Jesus I forgot about Aceburn. Man there's no way Satoshi wins this. I would have thought he would have took out at least 5 of Leon's pokemon but I think Lizardon will knock out Pikachu. Don't know what Mugendaina is up to. I thought it would show up and Vmax pikachu to have Vmax Lizardon vs Vmax Pikachu. Finale next week. |

| I think the dynamics of the moves was the best aspect of the episode, the way Ash and Leon often got the most versatility out of their Pokémon, especially Rillaboom using offensive moves to defend and dodge (I do think however that this battle could be much less static and more dynamic like some of the fights we saw on previous seasons, for instance Dragonite using her D-Claws while diving or to cut the vines or something like that, but it has been acceptable so far). Rillaboom's choreography really deserves a mention in particular, I loved the low kick he gave Dragonite as well as when he picked up Sirf's shield and threw it back, showing how much a simple "Acrobatics" means to a Pokémon that is Leon's. Fast physical attacks he uses Acrobatics defensively, long range flying attacks he slows down with the drum and very strong physical attacks he faces head on with High Horsepower, the only attack he actually uses to inflict damage is Drum Beating and this attack slows down the enemy, maximizing Acrobatics efficiency. I'm glad Dragonite wasn't taken down easily by grass-type moves and writer didn't act like Meteor Assault was a god-tier Z-Move or something. Cinderace also put on a good show handling Dracovish completely (so no proper explanation of what exactly was Dracovish's new ability at all? K.). I also liked the songs here but some were poorly placed, when Pikachu and Charizard measured power with their G and Z-Moves I expected a more energic track to raise the hype (but I'll look for the nice techno music that plays during Charizard's Max Moves anyway, I've never heard it before). Glad they didn't forget about Kalos and Alola gang as well, though Serena is still missing. It looks like the next part will have some spectacular animation, but things aren't looking optimistic for Ash, unless Eternatus let Pikachu Dynamax. |

| the battle this ep was good. we had good cameos too, clemont,bonnie,oak lab & the alola gang. the clash between gmax hellfire and 10million volt thunderbolt was even. it led to summon eternatus. what will happen now. will the battle continue or get interrupted. stay tuned to see the legendary/emotional moment of the finals. next week come fast. peace. |

This was the best episode yet in Pokemon journeys,here we have seen magnificent fight between Ash and Leon , many cameos of Ash old friends... Fight sequences were greatly animated... excited for next episode... |

| Wow, Rillaboom, just wow. This gorilla has trained himself well in combat. Like did you see how he kicked that Dragonite? Also loved that close-up of G-Max Charizard's face we got. Establishes himself well as a final boss of sorts. And finally the doom music that played when G-Max Wildfire and 10Mil Volt Thunderbolt collided. Epic shit but Ash's chances of winning look even bleaker now. I will consider just defeating Charizard a W in my book. Although he can push for a tie if Cinderace misses one or two High Jump Kicks. |

| Ash is in one big corner, isn't he? With how much they keep emphasising that Pikachu is getting hit this just an uphill battle. Would have loved Dragonite to take down Rillaboom but they have already showed this one is hard to defeat so it needed more than just one pokémon to get rid of it. Liked the brief moment when Bulbasaur reacted to prof. Oak's comment. Sirfetch'd riding his shield was fun. Finally the Alola family got to do a cameo because it was weird they haven't been showed so far. Can't wait for the next episode. |
| Cinderace being in the back pretty much kills any chance Ash has of winning. The highest thing left to aim for is to defeat Charizard, maybe in a double K.O. I don't know what Eternatus is doing, but from the looks of the preview it won't last long. It did kind of seem like it returned the Dmax energy to the Dmax band but I'm not sure how that would matter at this point since it would only work against Ash seeing as how Pikachu isn't used to it's Gmax form. |
| This episode was wild. The preview looks like next episode is going to be good too. Leon vs Ash so far as been a great battle. |

Pikachu can still beat both Ace and Zard with Static + Gigantamax + Pika-Papow (will be a nice addition if he even makes the rabbit miss HJK with his speed and evasion). |
| Third episode and the intensity only increases, Rillaboom is a beast without a doubt! It took the combined efforts of half of Ash's team to put an end to the grass gorilla. Everything remains in the hands of Pikachu! The next episode should mark a before and after in the history of Pokémon anime, the animation will be at the next level... |

| As much as I want Ash to win, I can't say I'm impressed by his performance so far. It reminds me of the battle against Cynthia, he's never in control of the situation and often relies on brute strenght rather than smart strategies. |
| Aww it seems the outcome is almost painfully obvious. Only chance for Ash now is that he somehow defeats Charizard and Arceus blesses him with High Jump Kick misses from Cinderace (DECISIVE moment if that ever happens). I guess we'll get a Tobias 2.0 ending if Charizard does not win on its own. Let's pray for that slight chance lol |

| The battle had gotten even more insane again. Sadly, Ash had been left in an extremely rough spot with only Pikachu left to take on both Gigantamax Charizard and Cinderace. I would say he is screwed for sure if it weren't for that cliffhanger ending. Hopefully whatever happens next won't cheapen the result of the battle. Still, can't wait for the conclusion to everything next episode. |

| Very tough spot with Charizard facing Pikachu while still having Sunderace as the finisher. Also I was wondering whether or not Eternatus was going to have some sort of impact and here it is! |
