Salutations. I'm a Graduate in Animation and of course, I like anime. Not hard to connect the dots to see that anime, games, and stories have heavily influenced my career choices.
Frequently active on Steam+Discord side by side as well.
I'm critical of my preferences and judge each show on its own for the most part. I value things when they are done well and criticize them when aren't.
Also, That previous statement is actually in line with my mean score being above 8, cuz I usually refuse to or don't watch shows that aren't meant for me. I simply drop them or put them on hold indefinitely instead of badmouthing something that isn't meant for me.
I also Practice Death of the Author in Moderation, meaning for a limited amount I can not think about who made the show, any good or bad connections regarding that and just see the show as it is, but in many cases disconnecting from reality isn't my cup of tea and animations are made by studios, as such decisions and ideas will be taken into account and judged wherever it's needed accordingly.
TL;DR - If you looked at the TLDR before reading this, you won't like talking to me. Buzz off Normie Pretending to be Interested in talking about anime.

Nice to know that my taste takes you back. I personally feel like times were really good back when I watched a lot of the stuff on my list. I get really nostalgic over many of them lol.
I find Call of the Night to be a fun read for its simple, yet, entertaining story. As for the anime adaptation, it was visually appealing. Studio LIDENFILMS has done well to rebound with this adaptation work. It has a fast and mysterious vibe about it. Showing what the world is like when the sun hides and the demons in your mind arises. Those late nights, wild vibes, and flashing lights. Starting trouble and having a good time. Oh don’t let the calmness of the night or the sounds of lo-fi blind you by the dangers of thrills. Just as flowers that bloom in the day will thrive in the day, Love that blooms in the night will only feel at ease in the dark. Call of the Night, is quite the call for later nighters, night owls. Now how could you possibly think of me in relation to this anime? Could it perhaps be my about me?
Looking forward to hearing from me, oh? Don’t have too much anticipation about it, now, for I’ll just simply feed off your dreams. The conversations we have, what you wish to talk about, what you will talk about. Tell me about what you’re vocal about, tell me about who you really are. When you’re ready to bleed the conversations of you, just simply send for me. Anytime. everytime.
