Well I expected a bit more seriousness than the movie, that talk at the end was nice. So far I'm not finding the directing as impressive as in Tatami, and the comedy nowhere near as funny as in Summer Time Machine Blues, but it's alright.

It's a bit confusing with all the time travel, but glad that "grabbing the opportunity dangling before your eyes" is one of the underlying themes once again in this show. Will the time machine ever come back to get them back to the present?

Seriously, the situations are hilarious when you finally understand that most of the events we saw before were actually made by themselves when they went back in time, though now it looks like they're stuck in yesterday? :o

My only problem so far is the runtime. Thought we were getting 30min eps like the debut, what gives?

Starting to love this spinoff now and it is nice to see that the theme remains the same as in Tatami Galaxy. This spinoff is different from the original but in a good way as we get to see more personality from Akashi and Watashi and it genuinely just feels great to watch. Funny as hell too

Well at least they got Higuchi and Hanuki back to the future. I wonder how Watashi and company will get back?

I like how expressive Watashi and Akashi are in this, really makes their personalities stand out. It also makes for some very enjoyable moments throughtout the episode(s).

Also love how Akashi smiled after hearing Watashi stand up for her movie to Jougaski. And also how she low key stood up for Watashi earlier in the episode in typical Akashi fashion.

This just keeps getting better. Absolutely hilarious throughout with Akashi popping off at the beginning. A lot of chaotic running sequences in the first half followed by the brilliant usage of layering bunch of shots together during the scenes of the characters following one another along with colorful backgrounds to accompany with, which on its own, feel like another set of layers cutting through the space. This is exactly the type of stuff I was expecting from Natsume and while I have no idea who specifically worked on this part (considering this has like 6 different unit directors) he absolutely delivered. Best episode by far.

This is my favorite thing about this anime so far! I already loved the characters a lot since the first series, so seeing them emote this much here makes them all the more endearing and the show all the more enjoyable.

This is turning out to be a very pleasent surprise. I was scared because The Tatami Galaxy is perfect as it is but this is a nice addition to it, this ait a sequel tho.
The characters remain amazing and its nice to spend more time with them, lets see where this takes us

I really enjoy Watashi and Akashi relationship

It's not Tatami galaxy 2, but it's still a nice show. It just doesnt have the same impact as the original, but I guess it's not that big of a deal for a mere spinoff

The best scenes were how in sync MC and Akashi-san were in both facial expression and working together to prevent any time paradoxes caused by their friends.
Also how sweet that Akashi-san overheard her senpai standing up for her movie unbeknownst to (past) him.

Akashi-san is me when I hear my own voice. X'D
('course if you sounded like Maaya Sakamoto there would be no complaints!)

I had no idea Vidal Sassoon shampoo was an actual product. I thought it was a parody but they got it right down to the red bottle and VS initials. Someone write a glowing review on Amazon saying Master Higuchi endorses this truly extraordinary shampoo and that he loves demonstrating its extraordinariness by running his fingers through his hair. jk jk
A good author leaves the audience enough material to be satisfied with, yet yearning for more.

crazy time travel stuff but its consistent so far on how they experience it in the future so the universe is not getting destroyed yet
