Uramichi-Oniisan is SOOOO enthusiastic! YAY...and the downward #relatable spiral once again which never fails to make me laugh.

For some reason Kazuki doesn't want to play with the kids...and Uramichi-Oniisan does his usual dark comedy banter to inject the cold hard truth into him. If this is how I can convince chldren, they would stay the heck far away. Mitsuo and Tabikichi are debating about how the latter lost his money on gambling, and has a huge debt to pay on top of rent. He got his just desserts by being dragged out on stage in front of the kids, and the kids sympathize with the Usao amd Kumao mascots, except that "Thou shall not knowst gambling." Iketeru is such an innocent being T.T

Uramichi and Mitsuo conversing about their workouts on a Yakiniku dinner night, but ths fatso being the station manager's grandson to be carried, he's a life-sized heavyweight dumbbell. And between Tobikichi and Mitsuo, be full of conscience, not surmising. The kids that ask the hard questions of "reading between the lines", they sure are aware of it. Don't lose the conscientious, don't read between the lines! Iketeru almost earned a mom fan but he turned it down... T.T

Uramichi-Oniisan is brain dead for a Father's Day event, and their time to spend time to shine outside of their current studio performing in a mall to the children and their parents. I didn't even know it's so easy to cry over children's happiness, that''s Uramichi-Oniisan for you. Asking the Oniisans to draw their father figures...AND IT'S ABSOLUTE HILARITY of blatant "characterization". While Usao and Kumao has their fathers drawn exactly like animals, Uramichi has had quite the hard life of a strict dad who tortures his own children, and he has some nuggets of wisdom about that.

This episode made me go LMAO xD

Kids really catch up to these kinds of small details on someone quickly. LOL, I love it when Usao Kun gets scared of Uramichi Oniisan. LOL. That was so true when Uramichi Oniisan started to think about the future of those pure kids. It really hurts. Huh?

Felt bad for Uramichi Oniisan and his back. He still had to do his job even with that back pain. LOL. Well, that's what you have to do when you became an adult. Adult things, I guess. Another great episode of this great show.

The last section is the funniest one. Those 3 guys are so close and develop a special relationship that I might even hope it's an erotic one.

This episode was the most dark and heartwarming at same time. Was Uramichi and the kids keeping real with each other, but we know more about Uramichi's driving force to be in the show.

Iketeru part made cold sweat.

Now I'm curious to see Uramichi's sister.

Pretty sure that was an imposter in the beginning. I can't believe such a hyperactive Uramichi-Oniisan. His explanation made me tear up from laughter. This episode was a bit more depressed than usual. But the comedy was well balanced.

Usahara has some debt problems. No money to pay his rent so he asked his ''best friend'' Kumatani. Seems like he changed a bit after that Yakiniku dinner night with Uramichi.

Uramichi explained that he has back problems and the next day the GM's kid asked him to pull him up #RIPHISBACK. Oh god, I somehow felt it too. Iketuru's reaction was just perfect. He didn't even know that the mother was an important person. Shot her down. ''Thank you for everything'' - Iketuru.

It's father day and Uramichi has to do some performance outside the studio. That was really depressing. His backstory made me cry for real. Poor guy got bullied by his father and his sister ran away LOL. Hopefully, we'll see his sister. Gotta know if she has the same personality traits as the depressed Uramichi.

After credit scenes were hilarious.

Comfortably the best 20ish minutes of dark humour this show has pulled out of the hat so far. Some great chats between Uramichi and the children throughout the episode.

this episode was quite enjoyable. Iketeru is so innocent i cant- haha. also seeing a different side of uramichi san was quite interesting. towards the end, uramichi san's line really stuck with me 'But in the end if they could feel even a bit of happiness in their life, it wasnt maybe that messed up'

also the ending song is amazing like always.

Uramichi testing the game is 91, we already know that Uramichi is not very lucky when it comes to games.

Funny episode in them drawing their parents kids knowing they are not bears lol, Good episode at all.

Back to life lesson with Maman, Papan, Uramichi Oniisan. Kids got a lots of fun and lesson this episode. About cooperation, servility, and, pity, i believe. So, yeah, even though Uramichi Oniisan had a brain age score more than 90 years old, and pretty much emotional with the father's day event, and well, a very good job drawing in the end. Kids got a lots of fun, and lesson, together with Maman, Papan, and, Uramichin.

Anyway, i am pretty much still curious about Usao-kun rent....

Somewhat consistent with the other episodes comedy-wise, but an overall more serious episode. Uramichi talking about how the kids’ smiles are the only thing keeping him going, crying when the kid thanked him forallowing him to spend more time with his dad, and then his abusive upbringing speech are all peak character moments for him.

The moment when Usao-kun and Kumao-kun drew their 'real' dads and not a rabbit and a bear, was pure gold.

Pretty nice episode overall. Last part with Uramichi talking about his apparently abusive upbringing was surprisingly moving and personally, I think his interactions with the children throughout this episode were the best ones this show has offered so far.

That was a nice episode. We saw a different side of Uramichi who was affectionate of the kids, that's why he does his best at work. I've also learned a lot from his "words of wisdom" hehehe 😁

I lost it at how terrified those kids looked from Uramichii giving them the serious talk.

This episode was particularly darker than usual, but as funny as the previous episodes. It sucks how we need to act in a certain way to get buy, earn a place in society and be able to survive. This makes me think a lot of customer service workers that have to keep up with so much BS, and let many things slide to keep their jobs and be able to make ends meet. Sigh.

"Do you guys even remember your father's faces?" lol

I can watch Uramichii bully Usahara any day.
I sometimes forget to finish my sentences.

These "life lessons", while obvious and apparent to the adult, should really be taught earlier to adolescents and even children. Uramichi-oniisan is legit giving these children indispensable wisdom.

Great episode! This might not be the funniest episode, but overall I think it's the best episode so far, especially for Uramichi's character. The episode was dark as always, but at the same time it was wholesome and uplifting in a way lmao. Uramichi actually being honest and saying that the children's smiles is what keeps his going was really sweet, also him crying throughout the episode when the kids thank him.

Uramichi slapping Usahara with the balloon was really hilarious lmao. Looking forward to the next episode.

You can only live once, no matter what. You sometimes think that yuo made a mistake even when you don't know if it really was a mistake. But if you can feel that you're happy in the end, even if it's just a little, I'm certain that you didn't make a mistake. Whether your parents' mistakes can be overturned or not depends on how you kids live your life in the future. You may not be able to live for someone else. But it'd be nice if you chose to live in a way in which you don't blame others.

man what a great speech. that hit hard. i swear this show makes me depressed and the next minute it cures my depression. it goes on like that.

also protect iketeru, he is too nice. when usahara asked him for money, i knew he would say yes. thank god kumatani and utano stopped it. also i'm really curious about uramichi's sister. how is she doing right now? will we be able to meet her?

That ending "But it'd be nice if you chose to live in a way in which you don't blame others." is just what I wanted to hear. You can be severely abused and still be a nice human being that doesn't want to bring others down. So blaming others in a sense is kind of genetic, and no matter what they went through, bad people who don't want to change are still bad people, and one of those days if you get close and fall out, you'll be a person to blame, too, it's all just pretty toxic and not a good environment to be around. Trauma never excuses abuse, and in the first place, trauma can make someone do bad things, but the big difference between someone who does it because of being traumatised, and from someone who would've done it anyway, is whether or not they feel guilt for their bad actions, as trauma responses would contradict their personal beliefs, in turn making them feel bad. A few mean people can play the victim and demonise the real victim and I don't want people falling for that.

Uramichi didn't even bother to squat down to pick up the kid, of course back pain was to be expected.

Kumao bringing reality to Usao !

Ah poor Iketeru he is easily used

Surprisingly Uramichis art is different from all the previous ones he had drawn before.

Felt like there were some deeper moments in this episode, like Uramichi saying that the kids are what keep him going at work and talking about his relationship with his father.

Loved the scene with him and Kumatani cause they seem to be on the same wavelength in a way that the rest of the characters aren't.

This episode was hilarious.

That brain test was actually testing your dumbness XD

But do they actually do this in Japan? That's interesting, over here we don't even celebrate Father's Day that seriously unless you're an elementary school kid then the teachers will make you prepare a card for your dad.

It's heartwarming to see Uramichi get moved by the kids. It could be because he kinda likes children that he's able to continue this hell of a job.

“But it'd be nice if you chose to live in a way in which you don't blame others”
Now that was some meaningful quote.

Little kid who wanted to say thanks because he got to spend the day with his dad was just too damn precious. Too bad the warm feeling went away the moment Uramichi talked about his dad.

Hoping to see his sister making an appearance as I'm curious to what her personality is.

Finally a good episode after such a long time.

I liked Usao kun's rent problem. They should show more real-life problems that the adults are dealing with

Iketeru is the purest the most naive character on this show lol

Uramichi had somewhat of an abusive father imo

This was a much more 'mature' episode in my opinion. It was loads better than the earlier ones

Only Usao-kun's problem has nothing to do with his apartment. It has to do with the fact that he has no personal life. You don't have to borrow money by sneaking up and hugging your "bro" from behind.

The speech Uramichi gave in the end was really something. We can understand things logically, and even hold ideals about how life should be, but totally fail to internalize them due to past experiences, especially traumatic ones.
