Actually, this anime is less crowded from the point of view of other people, but this anime is quite busy because of the isekai element.

I had literally completely forgotten about this show until I saw this new episodes pop up on live chart!
I love Isekai and I don't think I've come across one I've hated even ones people shit on like Smartphone or death march and wise man grandchild.
But this one got a 2/10 for me cause it was so boring, the story suuuuuuuuuuucked and charactes were shit!!!!!!

.......and I can't believe I'm gonna watch this. God it's like a Isekai addiction

Many B rated movies become cult classics for a simple reason, the artist got lucky enough that watchers ignored to reviews and gave them a shot.

I love the diversity in this medium and culture. There is literally something here for anyone's taste. I would prefer to have 100x more and have to filter through ones I might not prefer than to have 100x less because artists started to worry about reviews.

Just my opinion.

As someone else has said, the fact that this anime got re-aired with an additional episode says something. It's possible that this sort of anime gains traction in Japan.

As for me, when I watched the anime as it aired I knew it was cliche and did absolutely nothing original for an Isekai, except perhaps having 2 MC get transported instead of 1. Did I hate this anime? No, not really. I guess I enjoy isekais or fantasy stories in general. And I'm one of those that adjusts my standards based on what I'm going to watch. I still remember the trailer for this anime and I knew right away that this is going to be one of those trashy, cliche, overdone isekais. So I knew what I was getting into from the start. Why would I watch it in the first place if I knew it was going to be subpar or average at best? I like isekais so I'll watch it. But I won't have my hopes up or anything. This mentality lets me enjoy whatever I watch for the most part.

I could identify with those words. Amen to that!

For the ones that like to bother others (like me) with "you should read the manga/LN", please stop. I don't read mangas, I will NOT read mangas, I will not listen to what manga readers complain in adaptation to the anime counterpart, I only watch anime except in very few and specific situations.

I liked this episode very much. It was a lot more interesting than your usual beach/hot springs filler trash. And the fact that he actually met his fallen friend was quite touching. Expected, but touching. Do I care that nobody likes this anime? Never will, never do. It's not one of my favorites, tbf I think it's my least favorite of all those I've liked, but the fact that I rewatched it says it all. I'd be happy to see new season or OVA if they manage to pull one. Just hope there won't be any beach or New Years episode.
