I like watching anime. I'm very lenient on my rating for anime. I never give anything lower than a 5 ( which is average). If an anime is a 5 that means that overall it wasn't very interesting but there was something, at least something that kept me going.

I add tags/notes to the anime and manga that I've completed which is essentially my "review" of it. It conveys my thoughts and feelings about the anime/manga. I'm not a reviewer and I don't really like reviewing so doing this is more or less my version of a review. Those should be visible when you view my lists.

I also mostly rate on my enjoyment. So if an anime has poor story ( or no story), bad character development etc. but I still enjoyed it somehow I would give it a 5, or a 6 if it was somewhat decent, like the animation. I don't nitpick on certain things which is why I can enjoy pretty much everything I watch, to a certain extent of course. I don't care much about the critical analysis some people do, if it's bad but I still enjoyed it, I'll rate it based off of that. But I won't recommend that anime to other people.

Rating System ( Mostly based on enjoyment):
1) Terrible, Terrible, Terrible ( Most likely never going to rank an anime this low )
2) Seriously bad; very few good points ( Same as 1, don't usually rank anything this low )
3) Mostly bad; little better than a 2 but still too many bad points
4) Bad; better than a 3 but still had a tough time finishing it
5) Average; very common for anime that have lots of bad points and is generic but there were still a decent number of things I enjoyed
6) Fine; Anime like this have more good points than bad, even if generic, but the bad were still very noticeable
7) Good; Anime that are actually decent and I can overlook the flaws
8) Pretty Good; Had an overall good time watching whether it has fan service, action, gore etc.
9 Very Good; Has very good storyline, characters, fan service etc. and it's usually anime that are the top of the season
10) Masterpiece; Don't really need to say anything about this score. Used for anime that had amazing everything. Highly recommend them

Yea, my rating system isn't that complex or deep. Most of the scores start blending together, and I usually get lenient when I'm rating anime that I just completed anyway.

I don't really have any favorite anything because it always changes. I have watched so much anime now that I can't choose a favorite anime or favorite character because everything blurs together now.

I don't read a lot of manga or light novels in general, unless the story continues or gets better compared to the anime, and I only do this if the anime had an interesting plot line or was very good to begin with.

Also, there's a discrepancy between my milestone count and the # of completed anime on AniList and on MAL because both sites might or might not have an anime as an entry. Most common cause is on either site they'll include specials or something similar and the actual anime as one entry. But on the other it'll be two entries, hence the miscount. AniList tends to count specials or episode "0" with the same anime making it one entry while MAL splits them into two.

So if on one site there are two entries, one for the anime and the other for the OVA/Specials, but on the other it's only 1. Then I'll count it as two. I keep a spreadsheet of my completed anime which is used for my milestones and in that sheet I'll add two separate entries. Every fifth entry in that spreadsheet gets put into my milestones.
