| Ex-Arm was victim of its own success. 34% of members dropped it, only 5% finished it until now. Among the ones who finished it, many gave 10/10 for the lulz, that is why the score increased. If the score falls again to < 2.50, it will be the worst ranked series with more than 1 episode. | I watched it in entirety and enjoyed. It all depends on what approach you have towards it as watcher really. For those who were in to get eyecandy or amazing storytelling, don't really understand why'd you proceed past first episode anyway nor why would you rate it after not coming nearby finishing - that's downright invalid way of rating something. But oh well some ppl just think that much of themselves that they can't go past a title they didn't like without dropping down the rating. Myself I thought right from the first EP, now - this is something quite unseen before. Yes it's not the anime one would expect, but imho it's an experiment in how low you can go budget wise to make a watchable (?) product that brings back revenue. Watchable because if I was able to watch it without even considering dropping or that it's not worth my time, surely there are others who thought so as well. In future I believe more and more titles will appear that look like this because I think it will enable beginners without strong financial backing to create titles as well as majors might also at some point delve deep into this kind of animation, who knows. While it's graphics are comparable to that of some 00s game, at least it's not downright offensive like so many western products that straight up defy any truth in how humans look like. If comparing to those, this looks fairly well. Normally I don't even bother writing down my opinion but in this case I'm in absolute minority it seems so it's worth it for me now. Also call me dense or whatever but I cannot understand how is it funny to watch something you found bad. Haven't yet ascended to level of watching things ironically and don't think I ever will. |
