Tbh, this arc/week's episode and its case isn't as strange as some of the others. Seeing supernatural stuff that other people can't see in a show doesn't appear to me as very strange.

Obviously, it isn't so much a normal episode in the common sense. I'm guessing this is the final arc of the season since there's also not many episodes left.

This episode was focused on Kuro and how he met Doctor. Kuro also had the mysterious disease of vomiting sand after eating something. He can also see some weird stuff since his childhood. That fishy cult is doin' bad things to him.
I'm pretty sure doc. will be able to rescue Kuro. It'll be interesting to see how he'll manage that. Only two more episodes left in this show.

Kuro was a cultist! Crazy to think how cornered he had to get to resort to that. Scientifically speaking he didn't remove enough variables before he thought teh cult was right but who am I to judge. Not gonna lie but the cult is hella illegal

So we got another two part involving Kuro past before he met Ramune. Kuro was suffering from a mysterious disease in which he was coughing up black sand from all the times he hasn't eaten. On top of that he can see things that no can see. Kuro got so desperate that he got tricked into joining a cult and ended up getting abused.

I definitely expected it, it was weird to get no backstory and information about how Kuro met Ramune, and sure that weird cult is annoying, I hope that Ramune will destroy them in the 2nd part (well very probably since Kuro is with him now xD)

In an episode more focused on kuro, kuro really hid about this disease when he was a child, looking forward to the next episode.

That Kuro bro-sis interaction in the first sequence really tickling me. Lol.

Well, that was surely an Interesting way of direction to described the backstory between the first meet of Ramune sensei and Kuro. The last arc concluded them with such a nice representation, honestly, its refreshing. I feel like Kuro must be a special person by having that kind of power to see the mysterious being. However, since no one understood, and kinda hesitate and made his big family worry, Kuro got a side effect mysterious disease. The stress. Its made him vomit such a black sand, and that's why he got the Kuro name.

Yep, interesting episode, obviously. Such a shame Kuro young soul was still naive, there, and trapped inside that shady group. Well, its understandable, because no way the reality always had a good peoples everyday, right?

Probably one of my favorite episodes so far, next one probably will be too. Glad we finally get to see how Kuro and Ramune met, defeating a scam cult is honestly not something I expected either lol. I also liked the dynamics between Kuro’s family, makes me wish they were more prominent up to this point. His sisters were cute too, they remind me of the Araragi sisters from Monogatari.

The 2-part origin story of Kuro/Toru before he met Ramune. Interesting for a different change of pace in the story.

So he can also see the supernatural when he was young, that's no surprise right there. Being the youngest of the family in a dojo setting, the shenanigans of siblings are a doozy to be handled.

But damn, the shady cult that he tried seeking help with sure is a pain in the ass. It's only when he reached the shrine that the first coincidences of both main characters meet...albeit in the same inappropriate manner from the very beginning. And it doesn't take a great deal for Ramune to convince Kuro that he is the solution that Kuro's after.

Only Ramune can save Kuro from the corners, that's for sure.

So, Kuro's name isn't really Kuro? But, Aona had called him Kuroppi, so Kuro has to be his name. Maybe it's his family name.

This episode reminded me of a film called 'Boy Erased'.

Kuro joined a suspicious cult.

I like how they had the priest use cold reading like a real scam psychic.

Ramune could immediately tell Kuro had a problem. And, he proved he was genuine to Kuro by pointing to the random stuff that only Kuro should have been able to see. This was a method even we, the audience, could have come up with, so it felt more satisfying than something magical and extraordinary.

The chikuwa-covering cloth is back!

I can't believe the priest that looks like a harpy locked Kuro like that. That man needs to be punished! It's sad this episode is a flashback, since it would have been quite satisfying to see that man's face wrapped by the used chikuwa cloth.

That was a great episode! If the Yakuza series taught me one thing, those kinds of groups are scams lmao. Though with Kuro's condition, he's pretty much prey for them, very easy to manipulate.

Kuro has a big ass family, but they're calling him Toru and I don't think either is his surname, so I wonder where "Kuro" came from. Let's go Ramune, fucking run and save Kuro from those cultist ass fuckers. Looking forward to the next episode.

Toru’s past is creepy. So, this is how he actually met Ramune. Frankly, Ramune is a very good person by heart.

Finally Kuro and Ramune's backstory and so Kuro was same as all the other patients eh even worse than some tbh lol. He really was a naive brat and got involved with a shady cult. Also his family is quite peculiar but they are all nice people I think.

Finally we get to know how Kuro and Ramune met.

Kuro was so close in being labeled as a schizophrenic person. It's a good thing he was mature enough to say that he actually lied instead of forcing everyone to believe him.

Ramune is so bad at approaching people XD

It was painful to see Kuro being treated like that. Really wanted to beat that shitty “I can see everything” person.

Kuro having so many siblings was quite unexpected XD
But his siblings seemed really supportive especially Kurage.

“Does that mean you've got a thing for—”
What did Ramune mean by that XD
I wish Kuro let him finish the line.

I think the cult might be referencing Japan's infamous cult Aum Shinrikyo, lead by then-leader Shoko Asahara that caused the Sarin gas attacks in Japan in 1994 and 1995. It is the main reason why rubbish bins are scarce in Japan.

Didn't expect Kuro to have such an unique family especially having cultured brothers sharing the good stuff ( ͡ʘ ͜ʖ ͡ʘ). Gotta love how Kuro's first interaction with Ramune involved punching him in the face
