| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The Diet or Empire, all are one and the same: FULL OF CORRUPTION AND CONCEIT. But I'd guess for such a time period, it's the norm for such bastard methods of trickery. Focusing on Lady Gutheil (that is) Schaake whilst still hiding Innumael from view, the remainder of the Imperial's weapons of mass destruction within Headkeeper's reach, much less Elfriede's findings the episode prior, but of plans that have backfired in a do-or-die ASAP function. Schaake's father being Headkeeper's overseer, and with the Imperial Army starting to round them up, the question of "friend or foe" draws ever blurrer. Even within the rebel's group, reasoning vs. freedom is also a silent debate. Leo finally getting things into his head? Innumael's sister forcefully taken into custody under Leo's goody-two-shoes of a disguise by his commander, not to mention the numerous hideous attempts at hiding the truth from an innocent boy whose link with the Headkeeper labelled criminal only draws more ire, will this be the start of his redemption? A lot of infodump, but I've only had the feeling that this is just the beginning of a series of unfortunate events. Innumael's stringing and Leo's resolution, how far will the both of them go? |

| Well that's sad for Innumael's sister but with what happened in the previous episode I already knew it was going to be like that for her :/ the situation is still very tense |

| Lots of setting up here including more Schaake focus which i love to see. Looks like her parents are pretty involved in this whole matter considering the known mark that's on the container being in her mother'd diary. DON'T let Hermann go near Immanuel's sister, that would be such a catastrophe. I like that Leo tried his best to stay near her. |
| So much about this show is reminding me of Gears of War. Lady Minerva at the beginning almost has to be Schaake's mom, otherwise why include that scene and why have it just before the scene where child Schaake asks about her mom? The mom may have been killed by the Diet to keep her from revealing talking to the Emperor. The Diet seems to be trying to usurp all the power from the Emperor. That's probably also why Schaake's father looks the other way about what she is going. |
| Nice episode. It is getting better. I like how this is different from other (more boring) game adaptions. (For example boring Granblue Fantasy.) Seems some interesting background plot and they are making progress. So the other one in the flashback with the Diet members was Schaake's mother? The one doing investigations was connected do Headkeeper. And of course ... the thing with the wine, he he. I liked that. It was pretty obvious they were testing him. Will get interesting with the military acting there in the Gutheil domain and Schaake who discovered something. But her father does not want her to meed Headkeeper again. |

| Ah, i thought there must be a war inside the Gutheil domain. But it seems its not done yet, there. At least i got to see some more glimpse about what happened at the past. The luminosis, a replication process that caused the coldfire, that symbol, the fact that Schaake father was involved with the whole research project, and a little test Inu's had to made him trusted in the eye of that branch chief. Everything still in a smooth direction, even though the animation and the art were still bother me a bit .... So, Schaake's father already knew about the attack that might happened on his domain, and her daughter activity at HK. It seems, he had 'the traitor' too that might share the same information between the Empire, Diet, and HK. Or maybe it was the same person? Well, well, at least Inumael would stay out of Gutheil's trouble. After he was decided a good decision to take a part as a research team for Elfriede to the Capitol city of Empire. Thats might give him a biggest chance for him to met with Leo again, after Leo already had a wish from Inu's sister. Well, could that happened? And what would happened at Gutheil after Inumael leaving that domain? About Herman's commander, i had no idea with his way of thinking. He might used her to bait Inumael, or maybe he just wanted something different from her? Lol. This Kenjiro character always had a twisted personality on him. So i might sided him for a while. Well, still a lot of thing remain unclear for me. As the way that branch chief holding that devices, it might be a strange situations, and looks like Lady Minerva stated the right words. Ah, whatever happened there, i just hope Schaake will stay out of HK. Because Gutheil might be in a great troubles after that branch chief holding the thing. Lets see the next! |

| I was hoping to see more of what happened to that girl in the research facility in the previous episode but too bad she was not shown. Well, something to look forward again in this series. And more build up! Gosh, I am worried for Innumael's sister. Just looking at Captain Helman's expression gives me the creeps. Good thing Leocadio is there. |

Oh. Schaake's father knew that she's a member of the HK. And he's keeping Schaake in their domain to keep her safe. But, what dirty thing is he doing? Perhaps he's involved with the Capitol's experiments.  |

| This episode was kinda boring, I guess it's because there was no action. I'm glad Helman didn't torture Inumael's sister. I don't think it's a good idea for Inumael to join the headkeeper that'll just give Helman more reason to torture Inumael to death just for his psycho pleasures... |

| So in fact Schaake's father is also the one on this side? And she doesn't even know it. 🤔 The protagonist officially joined the team, but in fact he has entered the team since the first episode, and it would have been impossible for him to get away with it. 😂 On the other side, his sister has been in the hands of Helman, which means she'll probably come to no good end. Pray nothing will happen to her. 🙏 |

| Seems like Schaake is not the one keeping secrets from her dad but the opposite situation where the dad knows everything she has been doing and also heavily involved. Leo must feel really guilty knowing that not only Innumael is in this mess but also his sister got caught. |
