Damn, what an episode. They really went all out with Katou fighting for his life. Good thing he and Daisuke made their escape from that ship.

Finally, we also got the revelation of the Kobe family and in respect, the conclusion of the main story. Quite a thrilling episode finale imo and met my expectations.

At long last, this show that's held back by COVID is over.

Daisuke and Haru have walked long distances to uncover the family trade of Adollium, and not just the father Shigemaru, but the old lady too. The entire Kambe family conspiracy unfolded to its knees.

Haru fighting for the ultimate justice, and managed to hit his stride in the most conflicting way possible with comfort that all of this is at its end.

What a way to go out with a bang. Daisuke will forever be a money man, and Haru his assistant the way it was meant since Episode 1.

Damn what a beautiful finale. I didn’t see the maid being responsible for it coming at all. Really nice way to bring everything full circle with the episode ending on a bridge just like episode 1. Gonna miss watching this on Thursday, definitely one of the most fun shows of the year. Need more suzue in a swimsuit too 😏

So it was her... I saw that it could not be his father after all, but I didn't expect that it was his grandmother plotting everything behind the scene.

It was a pretty bittersweet ending, the series was pretty cool, it was never trying to be a deep detective story, and it worked really well in the end.

That's quite limited for something with "unlimited" in the title xD well overall it was fine but especially thanks to the first episodes which were really good, 11 episodes for a story like this is not enough.

Finally, the truth is out! Shigemaru turns out to be down and out spiritually meaning it's possibly one of the butlers or assassins, whichever faction he belonged to. Kambe figuring it out in time after basing it off the hand movement was pretty cool though, not something one would consider to investigate if not for doubts in advance I reckon.

And to stand my point, the short background of Kambe before the Op proved it. Changing personality from a lost individual to one arrogant a-hole on the dot like that is quite something though, xD. Definitely didn't expect it either, for starters.

And perhaps unsurprising to some, but Adollium turned out to be the core of the issue after all. Going as far as to killing a member of the family to keep this under wraps is obviously questionable but it's good that the Grandmother finally dropped the act. Damn, some of the shots with the glowing red eyes though...

Haru v the Imposter, sloppy from both sides to say the least but it's so nice to see Haru finally back on his feet. Now, Adollium hunters lol, that's quite the jump. His imagination of Suzue-san chilling in a swimsuit, that's quite meme-worthy and I'm looking forward to it showing up on my twitter feed soon lol.

I knew something good was coming since the ED tuned in early, and I couldn't have been more wrong. Love these chill SOL and insane Daisuke moments.

Definitely going to miss this series! Nailed the comedy, serious and action scenes/moments, imo. NGL, I was a little concerned when the show decided to take the serious route but the Directing and Presentation sealed it for me.

And the Op/ED themes too! They were fantastic company week in and week out, undoubtedly.

All in all, it's another job well done from the wonderful folks over at CloverWorks. Next piece of work is Horimiya and God do I hope they nail it!

Going to settle with a 8/10 for this.

Well, the mystery has been solved. The aftercredits sequence was great bringing the story back to Kambe being a Millionaire Detective (with a surprise cameo by the kid in one of the early episodes) and letting us know what happens after such a significant scientific innovation was made public.

I think the show could have stood to lose an episode or 2 at the beginning and some of the events toward the end seemed a little weird, but overall it had a good ending.

The mystery has been solved. I've got to say. This was a pretty satisfying ending and I loved all the post-credit scenes. It's just so surprising how it was the grandmother all along but it makes sense as well. We also got a little more of our Kageyama-Daisuke+casual clothing. It's a shame this is the last episode though. Let's hope for more!

Lol so the grandma was the culprit all along, nice plot twist.

The post credit part was better than the pre credit part imo and that's how the entire anime should have been.

An anime with wasted potential, the first two episodes were dope but the rest didn't follow.

This anime reminded me of Kingsman: The secret service a lot lol with all those gadets and stuff and even that underground train in the last episode.

Anyway decent show overall but not as good as I thought it would be.

They're trying to hard to make it end just like the beginning of the anime. I'd dedicate after credit scene for a potential sequel (like new villain), even if it doesn't have one, just to piss of people.

But the grandma order her killer NOT to kill Katou Haru, he has her approved!

For a second there Daisuke hesitated until Katou showed up. Guess that's case closed. If anything, it was an amusing show.

I liked how Daisuke left Katou falling again at the end there 😆

A pretty good finale. Didn’t expect the grandma to be the mastermind, but there was a little doubt in the back of mind saying she was sus.

Loved that Daisuke didn’t help him up.

It started out pretty episodic and the episodes seemed disconnected but look where we are now. We drew a full circle and ended at where we started. I've always been suspicious of the granny but I definitely didn't foresee the maid. I lowkey expected Daisuke to troll Haru on the bridge instead of pulling him. I'm not disappointed. Also, Haru crushing on Suzue was seriously very cute.

Overall it was a pretty nice show full of action and quality bromance. Sad that many people took this show as fujobait and didn't give it the attention it deserves. It was much better than Id:Invaded (or Babylon lol) that's for sure.

Decent animation and story, likable characters, cleverly implemented plot-twists, great music, and amazing direction.

5/5 for the finale, 8/10 for the anime.

AOTS. (if I consider this as a Summer 2020 anime)

Nice last episode. A bit sudden - the reveal. But not unexpected. Since the grandmother ... I always wondered how she couldn't have known stuff ... while still technically being oldest living member of the family. Seems she didn't have power over the AI butler. But the other guy (butler with assassin skills I guess) with his tech could fool the AI.

Felt a bit short - though the episodes for the main plot were a lot in the end. But with the many reveals ... and in the episodic stuff the money making Daisuke too overpowered ... I guess I mainly liked it for the chars. (Cool characters.) And because the plot was "nice". (But not toooo great there.)

8/10 is my final score.

WHAT THE FUCK! Grandma Kambe is the real mastermind! She ordered Hattori to kill Sayuri, Cho-san and Takei. She deserves to rot in jail! The real Shigemaru is in a state of shock or mental-related problem tho. That case is solved anyway! But, it doesn't end there. The problems brought by Adollium is still there. And it's now global!

I NEED SEASON 2!

What I like about this is that they're using advanced technologies for the greater good. Their gadgets are so cool, as usual. Haru is so strong in that suit. Daisuke used a fucking rocket to travel from England to New York in just 18 minutes, and he used a car parachute! They're now using HEUSC in their department.

Daisuke and Haru's relationship are now better than ever. Daisuke is still kinda harsh or playful towards Haru tho. lmao

I NEED SEASON 2. IF THERE'S A PETITION, I'LL SIGN IT!

Ok, so the Obasan is the culprit and it was her henchman/butler Hattori who did her dirty work....but TBFH, the final was just too lame on the ff grounds"

1. Kambe's mom getting killed cu'z she was about to expose to the world about the existences of Adollum, the thing is , WTF is that Adollum , a cheaper from of plutonium or something better than plutonium but still as deadly as plutonium???

2. Why is Suzue hesitant to do the transfer to Daisuke and what was she transferring anyway , the location of Daisuke's dad or the transferring of Adollium info to the world?????

Oh man seriously Daisuke just brought Buckingham Palace????? And Kato and Daisuke in Boston , WTF let me guess Daisuke has just paid his way to become an FBI agent?????

Damn... I suspected the butler after Cho and Takei died but I was shocked that Kanbe obaa-san not only knew what was going on but was the mastermind behind it all. What a bitch, raising Kanbe having been the one who ruined his life.

This was a nice ending and I really loved the contrast scene between Haru & Daisuke's first meeting and the end... and the fact that Daisuke still let Haru fall haha This was just a really nice, classic buddy cop anime and since the source is a series of novels, I hope more will be adapted for a season 2 will be released!

It has finally ended, really gonna miss this anime. I wish it was longer, their cases are so enjoyable.

Daisuke went Levi mode when he kicked that door open XD

That old hag tho, she didn't really have to kill the mother. If it's really that confidential and can't be disclosed to the public, she could have just kidnapped the mother and locked her up like how she did with Shigemaru.

And when Haru just slumped onto the transfer button, that part was so stupidly funny that it even made Daisuke laugh, that's Haru for you XD

And the Hong Kong part is still a mystery....

Dang! What a plot twist!! So granny is the mastermind all along? And the butler?? Well, at least the butler's dead... Now the inspectors have to deal with the traffic of Adollium, which means more work for Kambe and Kato :3

Omg, the ending! XD I thought this time Daisuke will give a hand so that inspector Kato won't fall to the river, but he let him fall... Again! XD Lets face the facts, run far away when someone uses a full name! Inspector Kato is hella pissed at Kambe!! XDD

This needs a sequel! I need season 2!! >-< Great series! I'm thinking giving this a 7 or 8... Loved it! <3

lmaoo this is easilly the best episode. An interesting twist which I honestly wasn't expecting since this show has been very generic and boring.

I thought kato was gonna die from the leg wound for a sec, idk if i'm glad or dissapointed he didn't...

The ending make me laugh I thought daisuke was gonna help him out, but the fact that he didn't made it even more hilarious. I love it when those things happen in anime ^^

Sexy characters, ASTRONOMICAL SOUND AND MUSIC I CANT GET ENOUGH OF IT!!!! and great art design and animation. I wish there was more... detectiveness and policeness going on....

Overall it was pretty good, definitely not the best summer 2020 show (i'd even say alicization WOU 2 was better): 7/10

Bruh, the grandmother was the cause of all that? Why bother making the damn element in the first place. Also, looks like adollium doesn't have medical properties unlike vibranium. Sadly, Kato needed medical assistance for that.

It was ridiculous yet so funny at first, it is still the same at the end.

this is my biggest take away did her dirty

show was a decent watch that got better as it went on some episodes had really good direction ,though i don't think i'll understand the fandom for Daisuke Kambe easily one of the most dry characters i've seen this year alone lol he only got a bit more tolerable by the end then again can't put logic to thirst.

This is not even remotely close to where I hoped this show would go. So disappointing. A very underwhelming twist and resolution for the finale. The threat of WWIII + a secret evil grandma + secret battle butler is all at once too much to cram together but also too little to be interesting after all that conspiratorial build-up.

I wish this show lived up to what the first episode set up. I was hoping for a cross between the buddy-cop rivalry/friendship in "The Nice Guys" and the over-the-top glam and tech of "Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol". That's what the OP theme vibes were. That's what ep. 1 was hinting at. My hopes were too high.
We got some of the tech but not the character relation development.

The post-credits bit lived up to ep 1 and I loved it - the humour and closure of the bridge reference would have been more rewarding if the show itself was actually good. It was too little too late for me. The Kambe family conspiracy went totally off the rails. The final moments really cracked me up and made me wish the whole season was like that. I laughed so hard at Daisuke's SIKE moment.

One of my favorite shows from spring 2020. My score is a 7/10, I would've given it a higher score but some parts were predictable and even though it's not a BL show, there was a lot of irritating fujo-bait that did nothing to progress the show. I'm pansexual myself but I hate it when shows bait shit like that whether it be BL, GL, etc.

I'm gonna be honest though, the reveal and ending was underwhelming. The badass gardener didn't have much screentime and I would've loved to see him in his younger days as an assassin. His granny being the main antagonist made me yawn.
