| Even more assassins we'll have to deal with. There is a lot of diversity in them, with a good deal of build up. The Brothers from last chapter aside, Tolka and his master got an interesting segment built up. It contrasts with all the others because they didn't have anything to build up their threat level like the other three. They're not immortal, they're not said to bare-knuckle fighting king, and Makima doesn't consider them dead if they have to deal with them. Instead, it's more about establishing their relationship, and where the moral compass lies, which leads me to believe they might wind up as the most interesting of the assassins. Quanxi, the lesbian harem, reward is at least somewhat commendable, giving her girls human rights, and education is pretty nice. Santa Claus is just straight up a terrible human being who I hope meets a gruesome fate. But there is definitely a lot of variety in the assassins set up, which is always good to see. |

| I really hate when children's abuse is brought up in fictional stories... enough of that crap IRL already... but the chapter was good and children's abuse won't get erased just because it's not mentioned in fiction... I know. All the new enemies seem very interesting and promise a hell of a time for Denji & Co. Even Makima herself being worried speaks volumes about the fights ahead. |
