got a little depth to our beauty Vanabelle. seems some kind of angst is hung over her and she couldn't keep her mind at ease until that wholesome ending of, of course, social dragon eating!

also, beautiful slow motion capture of dragon's last moments. awesomely done

That dude has some great drawing skills, it's impressive, and again they're eating a dragon.

This wasn't a bad episode by any means, it was fun watching the characters kill a new kind of dragon, it's just that the character development was the episode's weakest aspect, when by all rights, it should have been its strongest aspect, especially because the previous episode gave Giraud a fair bit of character depth. I'm no closer to understanding Mika than I was at the beginning of the series, I don't even know what exactly is Vanabelle's deal. Vanabelle says that she joined a draking crew because she didn't think she could belong in land, but she doesn't elaborate any further, while Mika is draker because… he likes the taste of dragon meat. Yep, that's his whole deal, for now at least. I could be wrong and these characters could get further development as the series moves forward, I sincerely hope that's the case, but for now, the characters feel a bit bland.

An episode dedicated to Bunny she needed a bit more attention but still her personality is a bit to stoic to understand.
That drawing got a lot of attention tho and it's a shame we didn't get to see her reaction towards it, as in a shame she didn't find out.
The question is how would she have reacted.

This episode shows the very person who is the most composed and skillful hunter is fed up with killing dragons. Unfortunately, in real life, it's often the case that people have to do their jobs that they don't like.

In this episode, only the surface of Vanabelle's mind was skimmed. The anime team would have been able to dig into her past, if they omit or shorten the picture incident part.

The hair combing scene is elegant and nostalgic. Maybe it's imprinted image from the stories like "A little princess", "The secret garden" or something like that. At first, I thought this scene and scented oil don't suit Vanabelle who would be nonchalant to her appearance. But it would have come from her rich good old days' custom that is not depicted in this episode.

Vannie is such a cutie, she looked hot in her sleeping attire. Vannie and Mika is a good match. I hope their relationship develops more and their ship sail someday.

Vannie truly is waifu material as the cool beauty who can make a delicious dish. Good to know she has some doubts on being a draker but curious on her not having a place to belong on land. Didn't expect this since Mika and Vannie are somewhat polar opposites but they sure would make for a great couple.

Episode that re-proposes the narrative scheme seen in the last episodes: hunting for dragons, new recipe, slice of life and knowledge of the characters of the cast. Regarding the characters, the reasons given for talking about them were not so original, but rather obvious. I took it for granted that there was talk of the character of Vanabel, but not as regards the character of Gaga, which is very evanescent, and hardly noticeable even if you have it in front of your eyes. As for me, the slice of life was well managed and pleasant to follow, the credit goes to the direction and the screenplay. Observing the characters and following everyday life on the ship is the best part of this anime series for now.

on top of the sketchy premise & bland annoying characters this episode throws in jarringly loud & grating noises. The worst ep yet.

The crew managed to catch the dragon after a little scuffle dealing with its sound ability. The drawings definitey didn't suit the character but it looks like more of a talent. Decent episode not much action apart from the hunt
