| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- --- I liked the different animation styles, but the story was a lot weaker than the previous years' commercials. The product placements were also more obvious, with multiple up-close shots of their tires. | Like @Kwanthemaster, I felt as though the story for this was pretty weak in comparison to the previous two but the art style was nice. I'm assuming there'll be more of these commercials in time so looking forward to the next for now! |

| Well, at least the story was still on point, and the bgm surprisingly nice. I give this overall at 7/10. Because honestly this is such an enjoyable CM. Such a shame there was no continuity for this year. Rip, then.... |

| Link in the OP is dead ----- Anyway, this was easily the worst out of the 3, but I enjoyed this quite a bit, the abstract art was great but the switch in character design was odd to some extent. In any case, good commercials. |
| Omg this was so good. Had to watch it twice to fully understand though. The song playing in the background was really good and catchy. Didn't expect a 2min short to hit the feels. The way the VA says Dunlop is too cute lmao. This and the last episode made me want to rate Road to You a 9/10. Didn't quite like the first episode. |

It's about a couple and they are breaking up not because they want to but because they have to due to the circumstances and what is basically happening is that the girl wishes to go to Paris for training and she was able to make arrangements to go to Paris, they even showed her passport and stuff. The point that they both were realy close and stuff was even more emphasised by showing us their memories, the flashbakcs that happened so that we can understand how painful it is going to be for both of them to live away from each other. Now the boy isn't happy about this but acts happy in front of her for a while but later the girl also understands that they won't be able to live without each other so far away, so the girl decides to breakup and we see both the girl and boy crying. At this point the girl is conflicted, she has to and wants to go to Paris but she doesn't wanna leave her boyfriend behind. Also I think the first few lines at the start of the episode kind of give us the message that, "It's alright, it's just a goodbye" and "but now I can start running", this just means leaving her boyfriend and going to Paris is just her "able to run". IDK if this made sense, but well I tried. Had to watch it again though. |
