| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- For an overview/recap episode, this one sure covered a lot of the depressing moments of the show. Cowgirl gets some moments but it's still the usual stuff, nothing really exciting. A lot of goblin fighting though. They covered some of the more important fights so I guess that's something. Still, I wish they didn't do a recap for a 1-cour show. |

| Recaps are usually narrated by someone else and do not flow well, but this one was cooler than those. It basically told us in the eyes of GS's friend and him how he became that way and where will his vengeance take him in the future. Most of all will he become satisfied and become sane again someday. This recap took us to his psychological makeup and the trust or hope his friend has for him in the present and future. It might have a little rating but I understood what was the aim of this recap. 8/10. |

| I didn't really like it that much. Then again ... not enough to vote it 2 points lower than the main score. (I usually compare recaps to the main show and adjust the score. Usually it is a bit lower. Some unique recaps can get same or higher score. Like the one with Kekkai Sensen.) Went with 7 while the main show is 8/10 for me. It still showed the main events. Focused on fighting though. From a narrative point of view I'd say it was a bit weak. Too suddenly jumping to the next scene. But I enjoyed the nice scenery and the music. Feels like I didn't really pay attention to some stuff the first time. The village at the beginning was beautiful when the cart moved away and you could see it a bit in the back. The fighting soundtrack always is nice. (Also at other places the soundtrack is nice. Seems I have been distracted a bit before in the main show. I always liked the soundtrack but it seems there were a bit more moments where it was less good. Must be because of the lots of fighting scenes cut together in this recap.) I think the studio is doing a good job so far. |
| Weekly portion of "goblinslayercraft" - checked, as many people would say (i.e. me ;p ). This recap was like many recaps, with that difference that here it took place after 10 episodes. We had some ecchi stuff and of course many goblins being slayed. It was too chaotic, though. Many important for the plot moments that would fit into recap episode did not appear. I didn't expect this episode to be some kind of masterpiece among recaps, but while the narration was alright in around first 10 minutes, later it was worse and worse (propably it was rushed, 'cause this episode's length was regular for any other Goblin Slayer's episode). It would be cool if this recap had more of Cow Girl's perspective on Goblin Slayer's life. I really liked that element, but as I said before, after first 10 minutes the longer I watched the recap, the more I had a feeling that Cow Girl's perspective was vanishing. If we had some extra scenes with Cow Girl, i.e. with her wandering through the farm and thinking about Goblin Slayer, this recap could be really awesome, while what we got eventually is just good-average. I really like the anime, but this was neither good nor bad. |

| Goblin rewind episode, for now, this hasn't been the most creative comment but I'm' going to spam me either way. I actually enjoyed this recap, not that I really needed one, but it was done almost right, instead of generic reusability for old scenes they really added some context to it, and focused a lot more on the Goblin Slayer and the cowgirl, it kind of making me worried for what's coming up next. |

| Don't think this recap is needed since the past events were not really that complicated but maybe nice if Goblin slayer gets a second season over a few years. Quite a lot of depressing moments... I hope no goblins actors were harmed in the making of this series |

| It's your usual recap episode from the past 10 episodes and a good start/intro for the episode nice We got some dark episodes in the recap episode makes me quite sad that I get to rewatch it Ending off once again from episode 10 and 2 more episodes left those footprints doesn't seem to be promising. |
