| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- A pretty thrilling episode with a good amount of psychology. Erwin is being put on trial in front of his superiors. Dot Pixis made quite a scene this episode and I'm glad they kept his character in tact similar to the previous seasons. Meanwhile outside of the walls, we got Levi and his squad doing their usual work. Lovely. I'm glad they're giving some of the supporting characters more spotlight as they are also important. Levi's squad is playing safe with their movements but definitely taking a risk too. Historia showed up at the end to confront Eren....oh boy. |

| Awesome episode. I absolutely love how Erwin and Pyxis pulled that stunt to check whether the government was actually acting for the greater good of humanity. Clearly they weren't, that look of despair on the faces of those 4 council members as they got ousted was pure gold. All said and done, Pyxis is probably right in saying that even if they weren't trying to save everyone, the very fact that they were able to keep humanity alive to this day would mean they did do something right. The Coup was a success, I was expecting a more drawn out Coup with civil war and stuff but they overthrew the existing government pretty fast. Gotta admit, I was grinning when Hange gave the news to Levi and co. :) What's the deal with Rod Reiss? What's he after? Is he a titan? More questions. That final scene though. :o Can't wait for next week. |

| Erwin's plan of exposing the governments lack of empathy and disregard for the lives of its citizens to convince the military to rise against them sure was a master stroke. The look into Erwin's psych combined with Pyxis's strong speech really carried the coup scene. Its good that the corps are no longer being seen as criminals. Though changing people's opinions won't be easy. Wonder did Historia's father kill his own family. But looks like its now a race against time to find Eren and Historia before its too late. |

| Lol the goverment was overthrown way too easily. That fake report pretty much confirmed how much the goverment actually cared about its own people. Pyxis and Erwin stole this episode. Their characterization this week was top notch. Cannot wait to see what happens next now. |

| Oh god... The cave looks gorgeous! And they added a bunch of pillars. I'm expecting some 3DM fights in there. And good ones. And F-I-N-A-L-L-Y! Been waiting to see animated for 3 f*cking years... AND PLEASE DON'T BE A SLIDE SHOW! As for this episode in general, Erwin is a f*cking badass. It was even better than the manga. But I'm still kind of mad that they cutted some good stuff off. 8.5/10 |

| This whas a interesting episode without action and it made me really hyped about the next episode. Can't wait to see what is that sin that Erens father commited (i already have an idea what could it be) It will be hard now to wait a week for the next episode. |

| For an small moment I really thought that the fake king would be some secret badass or was well aware that the noblemen were using him, but, man, I laugh my ass when he asked where the food was when the noble kicked his throne. He never gave a single fuck the whole time. |

| A great episode for a more psychological/suspenseful theme; however, this conspiracy arc was short lived and only really affirmed my theories about the secrets the higher ups hold... On the other hand, things are becoming more complex with the coming episodes -we're heading to the point where eren's the sacrifice (not literally, but pretty much); but eren's dad is back in the picture, I did not expect that... I thought they'd find him when they got to eren's house. P.S. For some reason, dachlis Zachary's stature reminds of the silhouette of the guy aside the beast Titan (alongside the fact that his conversation with erwin in the carriage seemed slightly confessional; i.e.his caring for himself over others, although that could just as well be a natural thing to do. Not everyone's an altruist) -I don't read the manga so... |

| That was fantastic. I love the slow burn progression of the arc as it feels thrilling and not boring. Erwin and Pyxis were fucking awesome. Outsmarted the government there big time with ease. And the OST was really nice too, very fitting. I've always felt that Attack on Titan doesn't need action all the time to be great, and this episode proved it big time. |
| That coup d'etat was perhaps resolved too easily, but it was still very interesting and well executed, not to mention very clever and intricate. Now to the mission of saving Eren, the progression of which should be very interesting considering the transference of Titan powers from one individual to another. |

| Too bad the torture scene wasn't animated. (Or maybe it will be a bit later but I think it had to be at this point in the story.) Still it was fun to see Zackly laughing like crazy and talking how he hated those politicians. |

| And another incredible episode, I was so excited to see this episode, and I was sure that would be a sensational, good plan from Erwin, the coup d'etat was very well organized, we could see that their knowledge about the titans was very good, and Article 6 that they used against Erwin, they were going against the article! And yes, the group that approached the Levi group was Hange, they are finally free, now they have to find Historia and Eren! And why Eren is chained in an ice room, like an ice cave, and why Historia is there, do not tell me that Historia have to eat Eren! She's cute so why not !! ;) Just kidding!!!!! Armin seems to be right, did Eren's father made him eat some titan, so Eren to get the powers, maybe his father did something really wrong! And the prediction of the next episode seems to be about Eren's father sin! i Will wait with hype as always! episode 10/10!! |

| Zachary, Pixis and Erwin are awesome!! I have been waiting for their plan to get animated for a long time. Freida will show up in the next episode. I wonder if they will keep the voice actor from Shingeki Chuugakkou. Finally, we get to see shirtless Eren animated. I wonder why fictional guys get their shirts stripped off when they are tied. They don't do that with girls. Is it because the guys are hot? If Rod Reiss were tied up like that, would he also be stripped in a similar way? |

| OMG This is crazy! I wasn't expecting any of this. They managed to overtake the government so fast! Cpt.Erwin bet is life on this plan, and it worked, that's why he said to Pixys that something would happen and he needed him to act, this was their plan! This anime leaves me crazy! So hyped right now. Obviously, the assassination of Rod Reiss's family was not a coincidence, and i think that he has clearly something to do with this. Historia has to eat Eren now? This is crazy!!! But judging from that pv i don't think she can do it, only if there is a way for her father to force her do it. Amazing how Levi and his team were criminals and now they are kinda heroes xD Cpt.Erwin, Pixys and that other guy did such a great job! I'm still crazy over what happened, that they really did this! I don't get how this anime manages to get even more interesting and exciting to watch. I think i know what Eren's father did, he didn't make him eat other titans, but i think he did it with an injection. Every time i start a new episode i'm so happy to watch the new OP, it's so damn good! Can't wait for more. 10/10 |

| Great episode. So far there haven't been any major changes to the plot, and it seems that they only adapted 1.5 chapters in this episode. I thought they'd adapt more. |

In the end he was a massive goofball who slept with his eyes open. Great episode, well paced and I'm glad they gave it enough screen time for some great dialogie. Can't wait to see how they will visualise the rest of the arc. Especially the . There's so much good stuff coming! |

| I'll say this as many times as I have to, the anime to Attack on Titan is far superior than it's manga counterpart. I had a hard time reading through this arc but the anime has done a fantastic job with it so far. Kudos to Wit Studios |
