| In second thought, this sounds like a really dumb question. I've been accused a few times of being a "furry" for having Nanachi on my favorite list. The animal features really add to the cuteness element, sure, but what really makes Nanachi a deep and interesting character to me is, obviously, her backstory. As you can see all of the above has nothing to do with whether I like her for her animal features or not, but her design unfortunately gives a bad impression to people who frown upon furries. I'm not even fond of animals anyway. Is there any way to change people's mind but not spoiling the whole plot to them? Have you ever heard of someone who avoids Made in Abyss simply because there is a furry character in it? |

| According to my favorites and under this same logic, I am sexually attracted to: -Little girls -Teenage girls -Teenage boys -Adult women -Adult men And better not talk about my expanded list, because there are a few animals there. You don't have to prove anything to anybody. The list says "Favorite characters", not "Waifus", not "Characters I fap to regularly". If people can't understand that, it's their problem. And yes, Nanachi is a great character. |
| You serious? If people are calling you a furry for liking Nanachi they are trolling. Just cause she happens to be fluffy doesn't mean you're a furry if you like her for her story and personality. Even if you liked her purely because of her appearance that's just you liking that specific design. I think the whale in Re:Zero looks pretty damn cool but that doesn't make me a "Spacky" or whatever. Unless you feel that you like furry designs in general there's no point calling yourself one nor caring about what others are saying. |
