 The official website for Berserk (2017) has announced new cast members for the anime, as well as the theme songs. The anime is slated to air in Spring 2017 on the Animeism time slot of MBS in addition to WOWOW and more. Ibarera: Satomi Arai (Pop in Q) Flora: Sumi Shimamoto (Detective Conan) Sonya: Yoshino Nanjo (Joshiraku) Opening theme song performance: "Sacrifice" by 9mm Parabellum Bullet Ending theme song performance: "Issai wa Monogatari" by Yoshino Nanjo feat. Nagi Yanagi Cast members Hiroaki Iwanaga, Yoko Hikasa, Kazuyuki Okitsu, and Hiro Shimono will attend an event on April 2. Theme song artists 9mm Parabellum Bullet and Nagi Yanagi are also scheduled to perform along with inserted song artist Susumu Hirasawa. Source: Moca News |

| I'm gonna go into this with the absolute lowest possible expectations. I was already burned once before and I'd rather not face ultimate disappointment again. Although knowing that Hisawa and 9mm will return is a nice bit of info. |

| I'm surprised there are people that still have faith in a Berserk adaptation, i will watch the first couple of episodes like i did with the 2016 one. To be honest i don't expect anything good so i doubt i will be disappointed. |

| Well at least we get to see Shierke and the Berserk armor animated... badly :( I hope they have more of those really nice 2D flashbacks. Also hopefully we get to more Hirasawa music. It would be great if he could just do te entire soundtrack, but thats unlikely. |

| CGI stuff aside, I hope the second season will be at least decent. It had a rocky start but improved as the show went on. |
