| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol Street Fighter. A lot of video gameplay this episode. This actually the episode I had the most fun watching just because it heavily involves video gaming. Tamotsu took his competition pretty serious too and got fired up to win. Guy almost broke the machine! |

He had no health left, even a block would have killed him, so he had to do a perfect parry just to survive. |
These retro arcades are a trip down memory lane. Tamotsu was extra hot blooded in this episode, not that he never was. It just so happened to be turned up to 11. I honestly feel pity to those who dropped this. It just keeps getting better and better. |

| I hate this series. I think it's terrible and I was very annoyed and confused to see that Street Fighter V was going to be involved in this episode when I watched the preview last week. But surprisingly I enjoyed this episode a fair bit, just because I'm a fighting game fan and seeing all those references to the Street Fighter series just made me smile. Almost lost my mind when they recreated the Evo Moment 37 and showed it. Happy to see that the game actually involved proper combos too. Wasn't too sure though of those two males that kept showing up to comment on the battle they were having, were they a reference to actual fighting game players? They didn't have much likeness to anyone I know. I know that the first player shown was a reference to Snake Eyez, an American Zangief player who uses a pad. (If I remember correctly.) He won by doing a raw Critical Art that Ryu obviously could have blocked. GG. WP. Moi. |
| Loved this episode.....I'm a big fan of Street Fighter IRL so this was really fun for me to watch The finals in the tournament straight up until the end of the episode was very intense and hilarious at the same time too xD |

| It's probably the funniest episode i've watch in a while, i was laughing non stop for majority of the episode.Lots of relatable, familiar moments too I miss Saiki T_T This part was just so funny "Oniichan stop playing these games. I'm just training to defeat bugged-ones. hey don't look it's not for kids. Hadouuuken. Hadouuuken gonna echo in my ear for some time now Lmao. "I used to suck at fighting games but now i'll beat it." Found this very familiar. Isn't everyone say the same when get back to the game they played long time ago? Absolutely loved the Tamotsu stand here. Anyone know what Frog oZma is the reference to?  |

| I think this episode is like one big mass memory love letter to those SF players. I'm not one of them, but probably as a viewer, I would be excited anyway! But oh man.... This episode felt... So expensive for some reason. I kind of knew it now that Arisa's cosplay gimmick is going to be a thing, but I was a bit lost on her choice for the tournament this time... And.... I can't stare away at Mayo sniffing Tamo's boxers... S-So lewd.. |

| As an SF fan I was very much enjoying this episode. Tekken can Tekk out and I could never get TOASTY for MK. Not my type of game. The only one after SF would be SC. Keeping it short and sweet, I lost it when she was sniffing his boxers. And when that first SF game scene came out, I flashed back to my days as a kid, running into the convenience store down the street to fire up this game and have my cousin kick my ass. 25 cents per match. The good old days (early 90's). Also, I noticed something in the OP credits. If all the bugged ones are showing in some sort of order, from weakest to strongest, then the one in the hat is kind of like the queen. But the one just below her looks very familiar. I get the feeling this could be her older sister or her and she ends up turning bad and he has to eventually kill her or something. Never played the game so I have no clue where this show is going. |

| I knew that this stage could not miss for an anime series set to Akiba. Heart sank when I saw the screenshots of some old games, or as they call them now retrogame. While we are, I express my condolences for the death of Masaya Nakamura, father of the famous game Pac-man. Closed the farewell brackets, we return to the object of the discussion. I said, a funny episode, again irreverent and very intense during the challenges in Street Fighter; I was boiling in a sense the blood. Nice that in the end there is once again a different ending. Speaking of references, at a distance, it seemed as if the character of Niwa, was wearing the shoes of a character from BlazBlue, but in hindsight, it's just my guess. | I ship Tomato Sauce x Mayonnaise now lol. I thought Ahokainen sauce would had a chance. Team Salad Dressing go!!.Seriously, this was a really good episode with all the Street Fighter V tournament real life players referenced, training montage that could destroy the arcade and how everyone was so cool with him naked except for Mayo haha I love how they have such a good brother-sister relationship not some deprived incest one. On another note, It feels like that chick with the black hat is probably similar to Shion from the game and the chick besides her could be Mayo herself falling to the dark side. |
