 The DMM Games stage presentation from this year's Tokyo Game show revealed that Akiba's Trip will be getting a TV anime adaptation titled Akiba's Trip: The Animation. The series will be animated by Gonzo and scheduled to premiere in January 2017. In addition, the main staff members of the series were also announced. Director: Hiroshi Ikehata (Sore ga Seiyuu!) | Normally I would avoid these kinds of anime since they're almost guaranteed to suck, but since this is Akiba'S trip I guess it could potentially be quite fun to watch simply for being so stupid that it's fun xD |

| The concept works very well in a game, but as an Anime...? I expect close-ups and very little focus on stripping boys. The poster is basically an indication of it, where the girl is in her underwear, while the boy has all of his clothes on, albeit ripped. Also, the random girls uniforms. Not that I want to see nude dudes, but... Maybe aim it at both genders, like the game? I may give it a watch just out of curiosity. |

| Yessss the only game I have ever platinumed twice (or platinumed at all). I'm hyped af for it. Comedy is soo funny considering the fact that it doesn't take itself seriously at all. In fact, it actually makes fun of tropes and stuff so I can't wait for this. I've been waiting for them to announce an anime for it!!! |
