| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- This episode was awesome, liked the change of the setting with the festival mood. Plus, Hotaru brings her joy of dagashi and excitement. Founds it funny at how Tou made fun of Kokonotsu when he got conscious of Hotaru. I mean, who wouldn't? She looks adorable in that outfit. I think Saya looks cute this chapter too in her yutaka.   |

| Having fun at the festival and this episode didn't focus on Dagashi for ones. The seeing the characters get closer to each other was nice. And it seems the father isn't as thickheaded as his son he clearly saw what Saya's intentions where. |
| The way things are progressing is very interesting now and it seems like they're actually setting up/pushing CoconutsxSaya =o Still I kinda like Hotaru a little more but just barely....Episode was pretty fun and our girls looked great in their outifts >//< |

| I read up manga and this adaptation fucking sucks. Director is biased Sayafag and skipped like over 30 chapters. Festival chapters are 53-56 yet they didn't adapt chapter 56 which was Hotaru and Kokonotsu's talk on stone stairs while episode wasted time with pointless Saya's banana's eating in blowjob style. Coincidenly out of 13 chapters with Saya in first 55 chapters they didn't skip any. They basically run out of chapters with her. Fun chapters like Radio exercises, Hotaru's mansion or Father and son stuck on small island, "boobs" chapter, chapters with local small kids, fortune telling dagashis were all skipped. I don't remember that much biased adaptation since Sakurasou. Here's list of skipped chapters: 13-15, 17-19, 21-23, 26, 28, 30-41, 44, 46, 47, 49-52. |

| Felt like we were missing some sugar, maybe tou'a distaste for that sugar\starch stuff plus lacking of most other things through me off, I guess the American dagashi didn't do much for me thanks to being the few I knew about of all these dagashi..... | Summer Festival time, and it seems each girl got a half an episode or so of screentime. Hotaru's little story was fine, and that Tamai girl's certainly easy on the eyes, but like last week Saya stole the show yet again. I had a big goofy grin on my face during her entire segment and hnnnng'd the hnnnng of joy! :D She was absolutely beautiful in that yukata. And that goldfish origin? HNNNNNNG! :D Also nice to see Tou and Coconuts' dad ships them as well...this week anyway. :D Don't get me wrong, Hotaru's great too, and though I'm not expecting any serious romantic development from this comedy it seems obvious she'd win as the female lead if we got any, but Saya might have surpassed her for me these past 2 weeks. I was already favoring Saya, but this mighta sealed the deal. If the rest of this is as good as these last two episodes were I might hafta up my score, and I was already scoring this pretty high. :D |
| The festival setting was very nice to see. Hotaru carved out the rose really well. Saya being able to spend time with Kokonotsu was nice to see. |

| Cliche as hell, but the Saya-Kokonotsu romance seems to be gaining some momentum now. Hell, at least it's better than talking about loads of retro sweets that no one knows or cares about. We need much more Hotaru though, cos she's way more interesting than Saya at this point. |

Coconuts and Saya moments!!! i really like that a lot X3 i want more of it X3 Coconuts's dad know what to do....nice job!!! now i'm wondering what Hotaru did after she got 5000yen..... good episode overall, probably the best for me becasue i like Coconuts and Saya moments in this episode. WOW the rating, first from the beginning it was 7.8 or 7.6 but now is 7.07 probably it will get 6 after this anime finished airing. i wonder this kind of thing will happen with Erased too, in the future.... |

| Hotaru was surprisingly subdued in this episode. That was nice to see. Coconuts and Saya looked cute together. It's too bad their relationship will probably never blossom into anything romantic; Coconuts is so dense with girls. I hope I'm proved wrong. Great episode. |

| This episode really convinces me that Saya is best girl! So Kokonotsu! you just only noticed now that Hotaru is a beautiful girl when not talking right!? Something tells me that Hotaru is a rich (only daughter) on her family because of the craftsman skill she showed. Saya's cute on her yukata! Kou discovered new latent cooking ability...hahah! 5/5. |

| I have to say, I didn't like Saya in the beginning but the past few episodes really changed my mind about her. Hotaru is still my favorite character, but im starting to like the Saya x Kokonatsu pair. Also, Tou and those monja skills |

| So it's the summer festival and this is Hotaru's first one. Liked Hotaru's hairstyle there. Poor Coconuts had to work the stall and Saya came to his rescue. You-san saw what Saya was getting at and set Coconuts free. Tou started helping out and unleashed his hidden powers lol. Saya and Coconuts spent quite a lot of quality time together. And no one came to interrupt them – Hotaru was nowhere to be found and Tou was unleashing his hidden skills. Lol that old guy and the boys' dirty minds. |
| I like Saya and I think she should be with Kokonatsu...but the anime is supposed to be about Hotaru trying to convince Kokonatsu to Run the Candy store...she's the poster girl for this anime and the director is just destroying this anime by giving Saya more screen time over Hotaru. Bad move. Never read the manga but from what I've read here I'm not surprised it's losing points. |
