Lol, this episode was funny. Despite being held hostage, the mood has a weird vibe to it

Oh poor Haku always getting caught into these type of mess.
The action was surprisingly good but I'm finding the comedy to be a hit or miss. There's also not much emphasis on the story but rather than on the conflicts of the characters.

That development that we got for the princess actually impressed me...I was surprised to see that she learned her lesson

Either way she still got spanked so that made me laugh and very happy lol....Haku's display of his improvement in terms of fighting as pretty awesome I must say

The next episode looks interestingly sexual lol can't wait to see it xD

Well that was as dumb and goofy as expected, though the fight was nice. :D And the princess learned a valuable lesson...I hope. :D

Judging by that preview I also hope we see some big beautiful tits next week. :D

LoL best guy is Ougi. He's totally laughing inside at his sister's stupidity. A true sadist.

And once again, poor poor Haku. (At least he got out of cleaning that ditch...unless he has to ressume work later)

Lol, that was one fun kidnapping. Lol at Haku being unenthusiastic about his role. At least the princess learned her lesson. Btw, holy shit, Haku turned out to be pretty strong. He developed well :D

Love the battle. Love the fan. Also, what did the rotten egg thing during the fight have to do with anything? Is it a symbol of the amount of fan service that is prevalent? Or it something else?

A term for a girl that loves BL is Fujoshi, which literally means rotten girl.
So when he says that the egg is rotten, it's also at the same time a jab at Rurutie for being rotten.
It's a joke that probably works better in Japanese.

Overall the kidnapping mini-arc serves as a nice build up to Anju actually realizing the role she has in the society and to boot, Oshutoru manages to also use it to test Haku and to assign the two thieves to Haku(which is a great way to try to reign them in more from causing trouble).

It also helps developing the relationship Anju and Oshutoru shares and Oshutoru's role into Anju hopefully going from spoiled brat to an actual princess. Especially with her being shown the weight of her position here.

Its actually amusing at how many layers of play the last scenes had and how much Oshutoru managed to gain from this single incident.

I hate this spoiled and selfish princess so much...but at least she learned her lesson by the end of the episode...I hope. Oshitoru is quite the actor himself keeping his poker face. The best part was when the soldiers are just "WTF? Let's get some noodles" in the middle of it all.

Pretty funny episode after last week's trainwreck, and the brief fight between Haku and Oshutorou was very interesting as well. Seems weird to see Haku hold his own so well when there has never been any indication of him having such fighting skills or receiving the training for them.

Also, I saw someone say the plot will finally kick in next week. Please, please, please say this is true.

Such a fun episode. Haku handled that fight surprisingly well. I was impressed. That was a pretty neat scene. I need more of that. Judging from the preview, I think next week is going to be good.

Rain of arrows with threat letters attached. The best thing was seeing such an adaptive food vendor! Go to where the market is; he is going to make it big someday, whoever he is.

That was quite the entertaining play.

Oshutoru's method was really effective to make it clear that even if it was all an act, it is still worthy of capital punishment no matter how unfair it may be.

Well, glad that the siblings gets to be around Haku.

This show may have no plot but its pretty entertaining. The big pause when Oshutoru shows up followed by the pleading by Nosuri was hilarious. The ending with Munechika showing up and Anju's face was priceless.

The fight choreography was excellent. Everything else was same ole, same ole something something apologist statement next week it really gets better........

... yeah. But that fight had actual choreography compared to season one's reused animations. If I could have a LOT more of that, please and thank you. This series is action, after all.

Haha thats so true. i finally understood his character with this episode XD With him being super serious about the ninja stuff and enjoying himself on behalf of his sister while being fully aware of the situation and informing the princess's sexy guardian in advance :))

Best sadist indeed <3

Whats also hilarious is how, after witnessing the hail of arrows, Oshutoru adressed his concerns, knowing it has to be Ougi whos behind this ridicoulesness :>

Good comedy. I agree with comment above, sadly no bath scene.
Trolls are miserable and that's why they troll. They wish to make other people miserable so that they can feel better about themselves. They are also reaching out for the attention that they don't get in the physical world.

The only way this episode could have been good if Oshutoru killed the kidnappers and then the spoiled brat.

This episode made me laugh so fucking hard! Some of soldiers were like "man screw this I going to eat some ramen noodles." Glad that Anju learn her lesson from pulling a stunt like this, and glad she got her little ass whoop! She totally deserve it and as for Haku well I guess he learn not to joke around like that from the last episode. And now he has to watch that red hair girl along with her brother. But is nice to see Haku learning to fight on his own, good little fight sequence. And finally I've been waiting to see the twins to make her full appearance, can't wait to see next week's episode!!!

The rating of the anime here in MAL took a plummet over the last few weeks and it was probably on its way to maintain that until the last few minutes. The last few minutes served two developments and probably very important ones at it.

The fight between the two seem to have raised a death flag.

Ukon is such a clever manipulator :3
Forcing the princess in a corner, to make sure she doesn't try something like that again was the best course of action.

Since when did Haku became this agile? When he started, he seemed so weak... How can you become that strong in a matter of months?

Ramen guy sure earned a lot of money that day.

Funny episode. Anju got spanked again. We are about at the end of first cour. Let's hope next episode, story start moving.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

I don't think it's so much that Haku became that strong, because as we saw Ukon pretty much played along with the act. But considering how lazy Haku was when Ukon met him, the fact he's willing to attempt fighting back the way he did and that he could keep up with Ukon deliberately holding back is quite the change. Plus, with the amount of hard work and effort he's had to do lately, that'd pay off somewhat.

The more serious moments of this episode stunned me a bit. Mostly because of the complete and utter mood change. It wasn't sudden but it was good. The fight scene was great too, with all the special effects and stuff. I can't wait til episode 13 gets the plot rolling.

I really do get the feeling that something's going to happen to Oshutoru, and Haku will have to play his body double (or completely take his place). Mostly because of how similar they look.

Hilarious stuff. I can't believe they took the ramen cart with them. Even the soldiers were eating during the entire scene. I lost it there.

Anju's guardian is absolutely terrifying, btw. Poor Anju...

Great development and stuff but i can't handle this weekly, my patience doesn't go that far. So from now until it's finished i'm going to wait until it's done to binge the series. I felt myself, this episode, starting to skip things because i knew exactly how it was going to end and i don't want to be doing that. I'll take a break for now and come back when the series is done ;D

Also, that Haku fight scene...Haku can hold his own, kinda surprising.

No bathing scene = shits gonna get real

This episode was major cringe comedy lolol
Grab your popcorn... i mean ramen!
So awkward yet so good, and a bunch of clever woven in like magic... Japanese are such genius story writers. If only we had some of that talent over west too.
The pedigree princess realizes how her joke plot could have exploded bigtime in politics.
Haku is working his way up the imaginary ranks, getting a strategically incentive task. Seems to me almost like a spec ops team being nurtured here haha.

I say every time pretty much: there's loads of plot, open your eyes and learn to use as much brains as the show expects you to at least have. Don't wait for spoon-fed exposition.
