Well... Random. Crazy. Made no sense. Mediocre art. That SM Evil Queen was horrid. The music, despite being punk, was terrible too. But I think that the whole thing was meant to be trashy.

I liked this more than the first one, but I'm still far from impressed. Story was okay, at least kinda innovative, but the art was only mediocre.
I probably regret this post by now.

Random. Somehow entertaining but far from impressive.
I think, then procrastinate.
Therefore, I am.

I've got a really surreal feeling of this. I'm certain that it was meant to look trashy showing the decay of the surroundings and the people.

This one was actually a lot better than the first, totally meaningless episode. It was rushed and grotesque but I think that was the maker's point. 4/5

The animation is not mediocre, it's mastered and calculated. The style reminded me a lot of MTV's downtown, it has a big 2000s' trend stamped all over it, and it really succeeds at bringing us back into that era. The movements of the animation are very dynamic and vibrant with beautiful colors, and it actually has its own personal signature.

It's a pity to see so many people not appreciating something that goes a little out of narrative and animation conventions.

Didn't like it much. The art was ok and I liked the music but the story felt rushed and wasn't enjoyable at all.

Surreal...

So these are going to be completely different from one another it seems. This was quite symbolic, some religious undertones (crosses, creator of a world/god). Left me pretty confused :\

I guess it was meant to portray her own inner demons? A wotld she created? As she finds the world ugly..?

Got the same feeling from watching it.
Start reminded me of a Black Mirror episode.

I'm 99% sure Yuko took control of her friends body when they made eye contact to kill the evil person and end the world, this was kinda shown by her eye changing and her friend suddenly knowing shit and saying "Goodbye my world". But uh, didn't really get anything past that though.

This was unique and enjoyable enough, but ultimately still pretty forgettable. 2/5?

Not terrible. Far better than the first episode. Not my style of animation and the music was horrid, but the story at least kept me interested.

My interpretation:

Kazumi usually goes to parties, has sex and is a drug addict. She wanted to destroy that world, that lifestyle, so what we're seeing is her struggle with that problem.

Yuko is her friend; she got into that lifestyle because of emotional problems: her parents are dead. Kazumi also wants to help Yuko destroy that world. So, Yuko faces her inner demons but they are strong; but she is persevering; but they are too strong and she is doomed to die in The world. Kazumi appears and begins to fight Yuko's demons as well as her owns.

She succeeded, but it is too late for Yuko: now she is with her parents and will not return to the real world.

Problems with this interpretation: What is FACE's role? What does it mean that Kazumi has the gun in the real world?

For some reason this episode reminded me of going out, getting drunk with some new friend and spending the night passed out on their couch. Only the wall never opened up for me to take me to another world. Mostly I just woke up the next morning hung over and looking for the toilet. Good memories!
