Kajika's having make up for the first time and Li Ren said that's how Kajika looks like when make up. (Kyaaaa~~~, Sezun with Glasses and suit!!!
)
Toranosuke asked if Kajika's sure she's going. She is sure. Kajika is not scared because Li Ren's together with her (Li Ren said please be scared a bit lol), it's like when she went to the cave with Li Ren when they were little. She was excited.
Kwinza heard about Lumati coming back and angry about approving his return. They want to capture Lumati when he arrived to airport, and Kwinza is furious. He ordered to cancel the approval.
Saleha, another traitor, is thinking about another plan. But Kwinza knows about that!
Sezun said his brother cannot be present, so he and his assistants (Li Ren and Kajika) came. That soldier keeps looking at them in doubt but another soldier said he knows Sezun, so it's ok to let them in.
He actually knows about the plan and said good luck. He led them into where Eugene is and he was shocked.
Li Ren and Sezun will go down to save Neuei, wearing Laginei outfit!
He instructed them to go to first shrine first. The escape route is difficult to find, so first wait for 30 mins. If not, escape without them. Li Ren entrusted Kajika to Eugene.
Carl went to the castle and Najayra is waiting for him.
Sezun's friend is helping them leading to Neuei. When they arrived to Neuei's cell, Li Ren attacked the guards (two).
Neuei is more shocked at Sezun. Neuei is wearing Sezun's friend's outfit and he's going to be Neuei.
Raiza is very persistent and doesn't let Eugene go. Looking at them, Kajika's worrying about the time.
There are many soldiers to the way to 1st shrine and Sezun and others cannot proceed.
Carl is in the castle to make sure Kajika and Eugene are ok, so any motives from the enemies for him to invite doesn't matter to him. He learned from Najayra that she no longer hearing God. Carl said it's better because she can understand people not knowing the future. Najayra asked something that hinted Carl, he fell in love with Kajika because he's worried.
Sezun and Li Ren are frustrated. Unexpectingly and luckily, a soldier said that the people walk toward the castle and there's trouble. So they have chance to proceed.
Eugene kissed Raiza and Kajika is shocked. Raiza is tricked, yet again, by Eugene and Kajika's face!!
Eugene said he helped Raiza's heart to soften and open up, so that her next love will be better.
Eugene and Kajika are inside and Najayra's mother and others are here, too. She was about to tell the elder and there's secret that related to Kajika.
Carl is taking after his father and he ends the relation with the business. He, then, met Kwinza. Carl instantly know that Kwinza cannot be seen lightly. Kwinza told him to see Somando before leaving.
Kwinza gave that another person (Saleha) a box saying it's Somando's present, but it was actually a bomb to a helicopter. He fell into Kwinza's trick. Carl, with Najayra, saw the bombed helicoptor and Najayra knows that it was Kwinza's doing. She said she finally understood God's saying about Kwinza. Kwinza never bored her, but it was with fear! Carl knows that never let Kwinza know about Kajika's true identity.
Najayra's mother begins to talk about the secret, which is when Maharty went to New York and meeting an American woman. Kajika was shocked! (The weird effect where Kajika was shocked in preview was this!!) Eugene, too, knows Harry's intention now.
Li Ren and others came. Kajika asked if he already know about this secret. When she saw he acted weird, she believes now, and understood why Li Ren tried to stop her from coming to Laginei.
When Neuei heard it, he went to greet her in loyal way. Li Ren requested that Kajika's past be past and not force her to be the candidate.
Sezun reminded to escape now.
Kajika also understood what her grandmother said about love.
Kajika said weird things can be changed when Lumati's the king, so it's ok that if she cannot visit Maharty.
That priest didn't believe at first, but what Kajika said before she left made him believe that she's Maharty's granddaughter because Maharty told him the same thing as Kajika said.
Next ep...Li Ren's sad expression, talking with Kajika. Two political people... Najayra and Kwinza talking with Najayra's despair... Carl's sister (with the expression that she is planning to do something)...Laginei people and Najayra with her hair down. Lumati close up... Someone opens up a box with a knife inside.
7 more eps.

I ♥Two Syaorans from Tsubasa RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE and TRC!!!
And ROFLKajika continues. I'm pretty dismissive against anything that Kajika says or does, but after demanding that she go to "rescue" Eugene, what is she good for? Nothing. While everyone is risking their lives to secure secretiveness and success, what does she do? Jump out and spill all the damn beans. At least she had enough brains to not even consider being Queen. Raginei would have been in dire straights if that were the case.
At least Najayra seems to have finally realized her childish folly by now...since Quinza smoothly framed Sehran (whatever his name is) into an act of terrorism. That was just too good.
I'm really mixed on the resolution of the show. On the one hand, I like how everything in Raginei is going, but on the other hand, Kajika's involvement is so stupid and tacked on that it's a really saddening contrast.
I laughed this whole episode, ngl. Hilariously bad. The only thing that would have made this episode even funnier was if Najayra hit on Carl.
At this point I'm watching to see what else Quinza comes up with haha. And I hope at the beginning of the next ep Kajika realises she kissed her cousin.
One of the things that pisses me off most about the series is how all of the characters hide the truth from Kajika in order to "protect" her. As if ignorance is excusable. Her father wasn't going to tell her her destiny until she found someone who was willing to give up everything to protect her. And for 12 years of her life he kept her secluded on an island in order to protect her, which kept her ignorant of world affairs. Lee-leng wasn't going to tell her because he didn't want her to have to suffer the burdens of knowing. And, in the end, she had to find out from a 3rd party about everything.
And it's all because the core of this series is a reverse-harem shoujo romance. The main female must be a girl who is surrounded by a bunch of gorgeous, wealthy, competent men who love her with all of their hearts and would be willing to give up their lives for her. And rather than grow and develop, she must stay a blank, innocent slate for the female watchers to be able to subject themselves upon and be the perfect kind of woman that all the men would devote their lives to. That is the fantasy of the series. That is the guilty pleasure for those watching this series.
I actually had some hope for the series in regards to Kajika. She didn't bother me as much as other reverse-harem shoujo females have had in the past. She had flaws and she could be annoying, which I was fine with because I don't like perfect, angelic characters either, but she also had things about her that I liked. And I had hoped that she would grow and mature like Rumaty did (and for a short while it seemed like she would).
But, no, she didn't. She stayed ignorant, and the guys around kept letting her have her way in order to keep her happy "because they loved her" while at the same time keeping secrets from her "because they loved her." It's hard to like a protagonist who gets everything she wants, doesn't have to suffer much for it, is largely incompetent for the grand things she wants to help out with, and who stays ignorant to the things around her. Kajika's flaws are, yes, her own fault, but also largely due to the men around her who always felt the need to protect her.
Kajika's lack of development is my greatest disappointment. She remained a flat character in order to keep the romantic fantasy (a bunch of hot men devoting themselves to and protecting one young girl) alive.
Even I can't say I was immune to it. Every moment Lee-leng worried over Kajika made me squee. However, Kajika's lack of development has soured the experience for me. After I saw the first 11 episodes, I ended up skipping to episode 34 and watching from there to the end (long story short, I knew I was going to have two busy weeks of school with little-to-no anime watching in between, and I didn't want to have to wait 2 weeks to find out the ending). At that time, I oohed and ahhed and gave girlish little squeals watching Kajika and Lee-leng get together. Now that I'm watching it properly and coming back to those episodes, I find I'm not as much taken by the whole thing.
Saiunkoku, a similar anime in that its a reverse harem shoujo whose setting is in a political climate, is superior to this series simply because Shurei, the main female lead, does undergo some development throughout the course of the series, is competent with what she wants to achieve, and isn't entirely ignorant to the things going around her (although the series does suffer the entire men-trying-to-protect-the-girl-from-the-truth syndrome as well... oh well). She follows her own path with just as much determination as Kajika, but she isn't as stupid about it either. She's much more admirable overall.
The political intrigue in this show is so childish. I'm going to kill the prince and I don't care who hears it as I loudly exclaim it her in the middle of the palace. Here's a button, try pushing it.
Only fools showed themselves and explained their purpose after they had gone through all the trouble of hiding and sneaking. Well at least Kajika finally knew she was Machaty's grandchild.
