| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well I kinda liked it. Magical girl themes and the OP song is fairly nice to listen to. Found Subaru's chemistry with some of the others to be cute to watch also. There were some obvious magical elements already and overall thought that was portrayed well. Nice artwork cards:  And that little creature this episode is cute :3. Also liked the stylish character designs for the girls. |

| It seems like both blue and red has misunderstanding to each other (or some memory change on both of them). Reunion and new meeting leading to a mission to collect to fragments of airship of a fluffy creature. And that yuri screenshot at the end of the ep. 5 people, as the edge?angle? of the star = 5 to make a whole, make a complete team. So Kuwashima-san's character, who is enemy to the group, is really a male character. |

BTW I haven't seen many shows from this studio, actully only Eva movies (which has awful visuals, especially that forced 3d models) and FLCL And I think that this anime is way better (animation and visuals) than Eva and FLCL |

| It's adorable but I'm also a sucker for magical girls. Star motifs and Subaru references everywhere. Normally I'd avoid something that was made purely for advertising. This is such an innocent show though. |
| I am absolutely watching this. I saw the ONA YEARS ago when it came out, and am SO excited about it getting a full series. I don't even care if it's terrible, I LOVED the idea of so much of it when I first saw it, so I'm super psyched to see how they flesh it out in a full series. Of course, I understand that people who didn't see the ONA might not like it at all, but I suppose I kinda have nostalgia glasses on for this show. |
| Even if this is a collaboration project, "Subaru" sounds ridiculous as the MC's name. Not to mention how they used the engine's sound for the flying brooms (?). Like really? XD Another absurdity that left a negative impression was how everything just kind of happened. Subaru's encounter with the red-haired guy and how she became a Mahou Shoujo suddenly. Not too bright of a development for the MC. The only decent thing about the show so far is the animation quality. I liked the magical circles visuals. The SOL type BGMs weren't bad either. Average start. This probably should've been a short instead of a full TV series. |

| That was kind of cute, I really liked the OP. One thing that bothers me a lot is Subaru's voice, it's the sharp kind that hurts my ears. Aoi's voice is too at times, but at least not whenever she speaks. I'm liking Itsuki and Nanako though. The red-haired guy is pretty cool, mysterious, but I'm interested in seeing him again. He is competing with the girls for the same thing. The president is too cute. Most of all, I'm liking the relaxing atmosphere it has at times. As for animation, I think they use 3DCGI when they're flying in the sky and in the background so you don't notice it as much. Or it could just be eyes lol. But I kept noticing it so I can't be hallucinating right. |

| Those opening lines were great. The action picked up quickly and it's well animated. This is actually interesting. Maybe we'll get a decent story out of it. |

| Kindof similar to how in Mario Galaxy were you have to collect stars to make the spaceship move ? So they have no idea who the antagonist is, what the antagonist's plans are in stealing such a fragment from a spaceship's engine, but it's all fine because they got to see a meteor shower. |

| Finished the OVA not too long ago but forgot to add it to my list. This anime reminded me of it. Hell, I didn't even know there was gonna be a full anime for this. I didn't really think much of the OVAs since it felt really fast paced, but it was definitely pretty Same goes for this anime so far. I'm not really feeling the characters so far, but I don't dislike them either. Still, I enjoyed this episode. |

| Well, that was... different. I still don't know what to make of this mahou shoujo myself. Cars instead of flying broom, engine sounds, girl named Subaru (well, this is made of short commercial series so its expected), I wonder what we'll see next. |

| i've started enjoying the magical girl genre ever since mahou shoujo madoka magica came out; meh, wasn't too fond of subaru's air-headed / ditzy nature along w/ her high-pitched voice. the other witches seem interesting tho. 6/10 |

| I just love that they have a fish out of water character clearly to give exposition but most of time she is just arguing with her friend so that later when stuff happens those who don't know the ONA don't know what and how to expect. It really should just be a 15-minute series like Yamanosusume. Nowadays people are expecting more from this genre. |

| I've never seen a magical girl anime and only picked this up to experience the 'only in Japan' tier mismatched product placement. It's as cheesy and wrong as I expected, but it has its moments. 2D art and animation is nice, though the 3D character models on zoomed-out shots above the clouds are hilariously bad. Music is really well done. Like, top of this season, right behind Plastic Memories. Going to stick with it because why the hell not. |

| Did not expect anything out of the plot, only came in for the cute girls. Was not disappointed with that expectation. I mean, it was pretty entertaining to listen to car sounds as special effects... Visually I like the purple haired girl the most. But in terms of the visuals + voice I have to go with the yellow. Fujita Saki is such a hit or miss ;_; |

| LOOOOL I started watching this and as the characters started popping up I was thinking to myself "man that girl looks so much like another character... and that girl too... wait I know that boy. wtf" never realizing this is a remake of the show I watched before. XD Very excited this is getting a proper lenght of episodes. I did like this anime a lot. People need to give this one a chance. |

| I own a Subaru Legacy... The maker of my car is sponsoring a magical girl anime... The flying magic staffs sound *suspiciously* like the engine of my car... The magic staffs also have the grilles of different Subaru models... I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel about this. |

| Fairly promising start, even if pretty much everything seems really random so far. The CGI is awful though, and I don't honestly think I will ever get over the fact that their broom things use actual car engine sounds. Still, this seems fun, if nothing else. |
| I guess I really should get around to watching the ONAs. I felt the same feelings as watching Kyousougiga for the first time without watching the prequel episodes. So confused. I'm not dropping it though. I'm too much of a slice of life an. |
