| WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS (episodes 1-12) Please don't put any spoilers of episodes after episode 12! What the f***k!!!!! They fucking killed kana off????? She was the best girl in the show, besides maki maybe. That Murano girl is so stupid, bitchy, and annoying. Why the hell would shinichi pick her? Alright I'll admit at first I thought kana was a horrible girl since her guys beat up shinichi. But then all her actions after that changed. I was holding on to the last shread of hope of shinichi and kana getting together. But when I saw him kiss that other girl, I knew I was screwed. I freaking waited so long long for this to finish airing so I could watch it all in one go. But now after seeing kana die I am really and hating this anime right now. Unless it so happens that she comes back to life I don't think my impression of the anime will change. What the hell were the producers thinking??? Hey why don't we just kill one of the MC's love interests and screw everyone that was supporting her ship?!?!?! Is anyone as mad as I am right now? What did you think of their horrible decision to kill her off? Oh and please no spoilers, I am only on episode 12 right now. |

She also doesn't take a phone because the manga's from the early 90s and teenagers didn't have mobile phones then. Once again, that's all Madhouse's fault... for trying to modernise something that just plain doesn't work in the modern day. Kana also wasn't "deluding herself" about anything... She had a special connection to him via her power and HE CARED FOR HER. I'm pretty sure you weren't watching the show if you didn't get that Shinichi considered her an important friend and wanted to protect her. She got that her love was unrequited (she even says so herself) but my god, she was a TEENAGE GIRL dealing with a maaaajor crush fuelled by supernatural powers. The anime really bastardised her and Mitsuo's character arcs and personalities and her storyline isn't nearly as impactful as it was in the manga but this dullass misogynistic "Kana was stupid and creepy" bs you hear everywhere is annoying as fuck. Besides, she followed her power because she DIDN'T BELIEVE SHINICHI. I mean fuck, would you? Feeling like you're a little bit psychic/have a spiritual connection to someone you love is a whole different kettle of fish from being told "random humans are shapeshifting aliens that kill and eat people". Of course you'd just laugh to yourself like "OK Shinichi, whatever you say". That's the sort of thing that really needs some sorta proof to back it up. You can't just say something that outlandish and expect people to actually believe you. There's also the fact that Kana's a risk-taking delinquent... Shinichi knows this, that's why he starts telling her the truth in the first place. It's a very last ditch desperate attempt to get Kana to do as she's told, when we're supposed to know this is something she doesn't do. In fact, this is one of the many things Madhouse fucked up about her portrayal, since in the manga she is clearly someone that does what she wants when she wants. She's a very strong personality that doesn't take shit from anyone, even Mitsuo, who's so much more than just some skinny loser in a hat that seems to still be dating high school girls like he is in the anime. He was supposed to be a student the same age as Kana, one of the endearing delinquent tropes prominent in things like Yu Yu Hakusho and a pretty tough bancho (delinquent leader) that's renowned for his fighting prowess. Him and Kana are almost comic relief in the manga, very easy to fall in love with, and have a lot of banter that the anime either portrayed incorrectly or didn't include at all. So yeah, I don't like to be that one person, but please read the manga if you want to actually understand their characters. |

| im watching for the first time, and i just saw Kana, and now im really sad, idk if ill like the series as much without her EDIT: i just finished this series, and im mixed. i really enjoyed it, but it wasnt that great for being one of the highest ranked anime on this series. -Reiko Tamura was my fave character, i found her so interesting, -Satomi Murano was annoying to me throughout, i didnt like her nearly as much as i liked kana -i started to get bored in the final few episodes, as it got a little predictable -the final episode was pretty random to me |

| Meh. Kana sucked to be honest. Easily the worst character on the show. Let's face it and be real. If Kana looked like Murano's best friend (the one with the glasses) and she didn't have the 6th sense, then she would be the most hated person on the show. The problem is, most girls are desperate for a "Strong" female character that they latch onto to any girl with more power than the rest. Then the guys obviously just find her hot, so she has that "beauty equals goodness" trope working out for her. |

I tend to like the more attractive people in general, and let's face it, this:  is more attractive than this:  I honestly thought I was the most shallow person ever since I liked Sinbad from Magi, while most people hated him. I also liked Elizabeth and Tsubaki from Soul Eater because of their looks. Though seeing the reviews and opinions on this anime makes me think I'm not all that shallow. I have limits and Kana broke them, while most people still worship the ground she walks on. |
| I'm glad that She died. She's a creep!! Shinichi warned him for how many times but she keeps on pushing herself to him. She already saw Shinichi and Murano kissing but it didn't stop her from her delusions. She even lied to him that She can tell Shinichi from the others so that Shinichi would stop telling him to stop following him or her powers. I'm really glad that she died because of her foolishness but kinda mad that she died until her last dying breath thinking to herself that she was so special and that Shinchi was her soulmate. That Lady is CRAZY!!! |

If someone tell you to not approach somebody cuz x reason, i'm pretty sure you will be a little confused, so that's why Shinichi explained to her his real nature, but unlucky he wasn't able to show Migi. If maybe, she saw Migi, maybe she would be alive. I'm just sad about the fact we will never know why she can detect the parasytes (and why she did the same dream a few times). She could be a mi-human, mi-parasyte too. And yeah I liked a lot her design ;_; |
