----------------------------------------
Mihoshi's father is dead, not really a surprise. And in a car accident, no less. I bet Saku and the others really feel like crap after realizing what they were peeping on.

Then we got to Fuumin's broken glasses, which interestingly enough, led to as much drama as it did comedy.

And the end was just so touching. Amazing episode.

My one hope is that this doesn't end up being like Akikan - resolving the biggest issues early and then having another couple of episodes to fill with irrelavent sidestories.

Well, we - and the club members - finally found out about Mihoshi's dad, and something of why she acts so cheerful all the time. It was actually quite a nice, poignant episode.

Now we need an "H" version where Saku gets it on with all three girls - the Loli, the Classmate, and the Busty Megane-ko sempai, along with the two giggle-fest girls from the reading club... (LOL)

Fantastic episode once again, SnM never dissapoints. Ah, if only all the episodes' finales of all series in the world could end in a stargzaing session...

I never realised thise series could have such a moving episode like this. The whole thing with Mihoshi's dad was expected, yes, but it was still sad to see her at the end, and that scene up on the roof.

Finally, a sub!

Super Saiyan! That was awesome.
Great episode. Very moving. It's such an under-appreciated series. With all the heavy scenes in the episode, it keeps it's light-hearted bits of comedy so well. =]

I love the "conversation" between Mii-chan and her dad.

"Mihoshi. There are many shooting stars here. I hope Mihoshi will be able to watch this with your friends one day."

"Hello, Papa. How's the sky over there?"

Metaphorical and very touching.

The "Minna, daisuki!" reminded me of Marin from Umi Monogatari, lol.

It was a good heart-warm episode, but I have to be a bit honest when Mii-chan went "Everyone let's hold hands!" aw man..

I'll admit that I am a total supporter of the Saku x Fumie pairing ever since she appeared.
It's almost hear-breaking seeing him with other girls, even though I always it's pretty much obvious she was never the one...

Right. And also, i think that guy Edogawa does a kamehameha in the opening of the series (somewhere around 0:35, and it's aimed at his camera XD). It's obvious the creator has a thing for DBZ :D

actually its at 1:05 he does it. incidentally, Goku should be going SSJ in about a few episode of the current airing of DBZ kai.

Same here, I had to keep checking if it was the right episode number I needed to watch.

Otherwise, great episode. I'm going to be sad when this is all over.

Time to finish this up, now that I've got time x)..

Oh so Mihoshi's dad had passed on?: o
Edogawa's always such a funny guy x)

Say Kotozuka could actually be quite nice when she's "vulnerable" without glasses : >

Although.. Still... Saku x Hime <.> Or even Saku x Kotozuka : o But not Mihoshi ;_;
Protip: I don't really check the forums anymore, so if you want something, take it on my profile.

Yeah could see the dad being dead from a mile away. The star bit was kind of a weird thing, really thought they were putting together something else since it was odd they would need the literature clubs help to enjoy a meteor shower... maybe for the kotatsus. Anyways an ok episode.

That was not surprising.. they make it way too obvious.
It would be more interesting to stalk the other couple.. nyehe. XD
How nice if I could do that one day.. relaxing on a open rooftop looking at the stars.
Edogawa is the hidden gem in this anime.

When you snoop around and follow someone and end up finding out something personal.

Super Saiyan Mihoshi parody xD
Vegeta would not like that. "Since when has the legendary Super Saiyan transformation been reduced down to childs play"

Lit Prez gets her glasses broken. Bummer.
The souvenir was a nice gesture from her behalf.

Stargazing session at the end was pretty nice. If you think about it, it has a slight romantic tough once the sun begins to come up.

-Uh, where did this all come from actually
-Oh, this stealth mission definitely did not go in the direction I was expecting, although they did drop enough hints for the viewer to deduce that Mihoshi's dad passed away.
-Man, what a way to go
-Is it me or have the night skies gotten much more detailed as the show went on
-I kinda wish all of this serious love triangle stuff wasn't here, but Hime failing miserably in the early episodes was actually pretty enjoyable
-The immediate aftermath of Fumin losing her glasses is more like it, though.
-Scene at the playground makes me think the theme behind this episode is the past
-At least the bookmark scene in the playground was something good to come out of the love triangle stuff
-What meteor shower was Saku talking about? Did I miss something?
-Yeah, I don't understand where this all came from. The only thing during the meteor viewing session that stuck out at me was the part where they were all under the kotatsu since Saku mentioning Mihoshi's dad was actually something that happened earlier in the show. The night sky was also something that stood out, I guess.

I dunno, it just doesn't seem to have retained its charm other than isolated instances within each of the later episodes. I like this show a lot more when it's purely about goofy antics or stargazing.

No surprise there. There were always questions about the state of Mihoshi's parents. Still not sure what to think about Souma either.

I had an inkling idea why she's always changing the subject when someone talks about her parents, so that's why... >.<

Note: I prefer Fumie's or Sayo's route.
It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
