| From what happened in this episode, I said it before and I'll say it again: needs moar Elen! But damn I really can't wait for the next ep after seeing the preview. But at the rate this series is going, I won't be surprised to see at least one of the main characters dieing by the end. Well, I'll be happy so long as there's more Elen x Reiji. |
| Finally a good episode after some dissapointing ones. I didn't think the script would go this way actually, since Cal doesn't seem to become an assassin for the moment (though she might become one later). Either way, it'll probably finish ith Reiji chosing either Elen or Cal (or neither one of them). Don't really know where it will go from here, since this scenario has surprised me some times already. |

| I just hate her voice and nearly everything about her presentation. There is also something about her that is very...devious. Especially the way she tried to entwine herself with Reiji in the beginning. Nor do I really buy her reasoning for wanting to become an assassin: it's just to contradictory with the "super smart, streetwise" way they try to depict her. I just don't respond to anything that they do here since it all feels contrived. |

Well, to each his own, I guess, cuz I find her likeable when she tried to help Reiji in every ways she could despite not being a badass killing machine: Cooking, cleaning,... Basically become Reiji's bitch in a very cute & innocent way <3. | I really enjoyed this episode. Cal is just too cute - especially in those cat ears..! ~ I liked the emotional bathroom scene with Reiji crying, and I doubt anything happened between them - It seems more like a brother/sister relationship to me. Oh noes, it's a trap! Finally Ein and Zwei will meet again next episode! So looking forward to it. |

| It's not really difficult and perfectly understandable. First and foremost, Cal wants to stay with Reiji, and she understands that in order to make sure that she can, she needs to become part of his "assassin" world. And yes, she has been very streetwise and smart. She managed to latch herself to Reiji early on, by pretending to know more than she did. She kept the money hidden until she could "use" it. She's dextrous (see her mechanical skills) and picked up things very fast. During the counter-sniping mission, she did very well. And eventually, she came up with a solid reasoning in her emotional pitch to stay with him. I see nothing contrived here. What she did and continues to do is logical and reasonable. |

| This is a girl who grew up on the streets and befriended a prostitute who was later killed in front of her. As a result, she steals money found at the crime scene, wishes revenge on that lady's killer and tries to use Reiji as a means to that end, knowing that he is an assassin. Over time, Cal gets attached to Reiji, and now assumes he's a "good" assassin (whatever that means) and wants to be one to to stay by his side. I just don't like her. She's one of those characters who picks and chooses what is good or bad or right in the world, only to justify her feelings. That's not honesty to me. She's just lying to herself. |
| So.. 1) Wiesemel sends his 'right hand' to do the sniping? Instead of hiring a sniper that's not connected to him? 2) Reji plants evidence (the 5 mille) in Wiesemel's house in such a way.. that it would be apparent the evidence has been planted? 3) The Godoh group is easily manipulated by a simple picture? OMFG.. this show is getting so retarded.. so called 'secret organisations' with all the money and power just make dumb moves.. or jump to (the wrong) conclusions too fast for no good reason? Bleh.. why would the Godoh group suspect Mc Cullen for instance.. It would be benificial for Mc Cullen's and Godoh's interests having the Godoh group to join Inferno. Yet they suspect Mc Cullen .. instead of screening through all the people involved including their advisor (Scythe Mastah?).. Their are sooooooo many things wrong with this show.. which annoys me so much.. (maybe I should drop it at 16/26?).. Anyway.. I'm reading (almost) nothing but praise on the MAL forums? Didnt you see several of my posts expressing my OVER 9000 sadness due to the lack of "action" ? Other than that, your points are very accurate but shouldnt you already know the serie's flaw right when Ein & Zwei getting bullets in their chest & still surviving? Shouldnt you drop the serie at this point if you dont like "wrong" things to avoid further "disappointments"? Oh, just wanna contribute this to your "wrong" things list: 4) For a big organization as Inferno, isnt it easy for them to hold conferences in places without glasses to avoid sniping? Couldnt they have enough snipers to counter-snipe? Or easiest way: Dont they have enough cash to make anti-bullets glassware ? LOL |

| The whole deal was a set up from Claudia. She chose to only have Reiji deal with the sniper, and Inferno was not aware of Claudia's conclusion since it was handled by only her. And as far as bullet proof windows go, as long as research is done on SM and Ein's part, that's an easy issue to get around...not to mention that using the gun she did, I don't think that would have mattered. I don't think there was anything necessarily wrong or illogical here, but I won't be arguing the other points. |

| Again, the place for this meeting was totally scripted by Claudia. It was her plan to draw out the sniper using such a glaringly easy window. And it worked. She got right down to the bottom of it: Issac was the culprit. The problem is that she is unaware that SM has anything to do with this, and therefore has interjected himself into the situation. But yeah, Claudia is quite overconfident in Reiji (even if it is for good reason) and his abilities in human disposal. |

Thats what made her character realistic: She knew Reiji is an assassin but she want to believe he was a "good" one even though in reality he will kill innocent people when the situation calls for it. Dont blame you if you get annoyed by her reasoning since IRL, that would be considered stupid, but thats what we humans always get trapped by, our own feelings. I know she was supposed to be a sneaky kid, but considering the environment she was in, wouldnt you be the same? However, she still stay pure & innocent; that sneaky behavior is only put on whenever she was in danger, its not her true self. In some way, she resemble Reiji in that way: Both are good people who were corrupted by their surroundings hence why I thought she is a better match for Reiji since her innocence will save him from sinking further into crimes & that was indeed shown in this ep how it was done. I guess pity is another source of my insane love for Cal since her life is sad IMO: Getting abandoned by her own parents, then when she thought she had a family, Judy died, of course she would want to avenge her supposed to be family member. Now revenge is done, she fell in love with Reiji & he was like the only family left to her then of course she will be willing to do anything to stay by his side & when she thought everything is alright, another storm will destroy her life once again :( ... Elen's life is supposed to be as sad but IMO, Cal's story just has more impacts on me, dunno why though... |

| I guess that's the difference. You see the pure and innocent side of Cal as her core, and I see the manipulative and scheming one as the core. Much like Reiji, I have no reason to know that Cal was a good person before all of these events. I only judge them off of what I've seen on the show. Reiji was an innocent person dragged into an underworld. Cal is a seemingly innocent person choosing to become an assassin. She had the luxury of being given a choice (unlike Reiji and maybe Ein) and she chooses to be a murderer. That's just not in any way good to me. I see no reason to pity this girl. |

| Lol...every time I look at Reiji, he seems older than he really is. It's probably because of all the stuff he does. I am rather irritated that the anime doesn't tell me his age because I dont like to use alternate sources to guess his age. Oh, and does anyone know if there's any way to automatically go to all of your forum posts? It's annoying trying to find a specific thread to see post replies and whatnot many days after your last post. |

| Although it was an interesting plot development, I had to laugh when Isaac died. I mean, not long ago, Reiji gets shot multiple times in the chest area and Elen gets shot in the heart and they survive. Then Isaac gets shot once, presumably not in the head or chest (since we get a pretty good shot of him from the waist and up) and he dies? xD ANYWAY, I digress. It was a good episode in terms of plot development, although my attention did waver at certain times. Maybe it's because I'm joining some of the others since I'm not a Cal fan. Her cute and childish behaviour and voice grate on my nerves =/ I have to admit, though, the shower scene was well done (even the BGM was spot-on!), though I'm not really enjoying the lolicon implications. I was perfectly happy with it until Cal pulled back the curtains and Reiji walked in. You win some, lose some, I guess. |

She talks about how Reiji would never kill innocents, but yet he killed that wife and kid before, even though he was different then, it just goes to show how little she knows him. um...i dont think she mistaken even if she doesn't know about the incident with wife and kid. I believe she was talking about accidental victims. Judy got shot only because she happened to be in wrong place on wrong time, she didnt have anything to do with mafia and their affairs (did she?), yet she had to die only because somebody was incompetent. While wife and kid obviously didnt deserve to die either and despite being from mafia family probably didnt have anything in common with their businesses, their were targets given to Zwei, people they ordered him to kill. That two cases are not the same, Zwei didnt slay anybody so far if it wasnt necessary. on the side note, whats with these characters ages? im not believing it, maybe they were 14-15 in game but this is an anime and Zwei here looks 20 and Cal at most 11 x_X |
