| love this show 8/10 i want to give it a 9 but i have to wait and see this and the first episode is so cute i like their mother in tanuki form lol she is so cute when she ran out of the bridge and BTW why is there so many monogatari signature and display pic lol there are so many senjougahara and araragi fan in this forums lol |

| The OST is indeed pretty good. I think I was turned off on the art/ears moreso first episode than now. It's less of a problem to me. Introducing more of the characters made the show better in my eyes. Seeing family problems and like family hierarchies make it seem like it's going to be more than just random antics of tanukis and tengu. |

| So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| ohhh wow i really like this a lot! i don't mind the ~lack of direction~ and i like the attention given to the characters. i think this episode did an amazing job at showing the dynamics of this somewhat dysfunctional but very loving family. can't wait to see more! |

| I love these kinds of anime where I can't in a short phrase (or even one word in some cases) describe the main characters. I was invested in the story from the first episode, which rarely happens for me these days. These characters are just so well written and the creators have left the necessary space for them to breathe without adding unnecessary plot devices. I sometimes have trouble with slow starting series but with this one the episode feels like it lasts a minute and I end up wishing for next week to come soon :) It's weird to see some comments here that would be more fitting to an action series. I don't understand why people who dislike slice of life even come to comment that the series doesn't appeal to them. I also don't get the MC hate, I love the guy, he's really kind-hearted in a non-professing way, which is awesome because I hate all sorts of vocal assurances of affection. |
| I like this OST. More interesting characters appeared like Mother Shimogamo and Yajirou Shimogamo. And the cat siblings. I'm still a bit interested in this. |

Flawfinder is, well, obvious came here to find flaw and bachou's tone is almost like trolling with words like "crap" without any elaboration. It is hard to ask for high quality response for low quality posts - the posters tend to get what their posts deserve. |

| I guess. To me it just makes the guy on the offensive look like an immature, insecure idiot. 90% of the posts here are pointless, why pick out those just because they have a different opinion. So let me just get this clear, because they think it's a bad show they deserve to be ridiculed and have "mom jokes" thrown at them? I don't think so. |

| Well, I for one I like it when they dropped the anime they don't like, one less annoying post to read; after all why watching something when you are not being entertained? I like the second episode better than the first, we get to learn more and more about the Tanuki community. |
| I really enjoy the animation in this one, it's been a long time since I've seen so much consistency and so little bland shortcuts in a tv series. The city in the rainy weather was perfectly done. Yaichirou said: This is what happens when you poke balls with sticks! haha. I wonder how the father ended up as a stew. I think this will be at least one of the main points of the story, I also get the feeling that the whole Shimogamo family is at the bottom of the totem poll, so to speak. |

| I'm curious about the twins' sister. The list of Seiyuu on MAL doesn't include this character, but her voice's kinda familiar, sounds like Kirino from oreimo XD have no complains about this episode, still awesome and the BG was as beautiful as always. |

| I am a seiyuu nut. I nerd out pretty hard when it comes to Toyosaki Aki and Hikasa Youko. They seem to be such lovely people. I'm translating Hikasa's blog which you can find here. | another side of the anime is introduced. very nice. tanuki cuddles are cute. and Hiroyuki Yoshino sounds hot as a frog. no offense but it does sound really nice i like how the simple design of the characters fits this; it doesn't have to be flashy nor perfect but the way the characters are drawn it's still very enjoyable to the eyes however nice the godly bgm at the end of both episodes is, if they're gonna show it again in 3rd ep i'll probably table flip. i reckon they won't. （<•> 血 <•>）still the best |
| The first episode had me sort of confused, but with the second episode, I understood it all and kind of like this series. It's pretty cool and fun to watch. The ending had a nice OST as well. 5/5. EDIT: Haha, nobody voted a 2/5 or 1/5 for this episode at this point ^^ |
