This is my first real disappointment with this arc. I was really hoping Uryu's motivation would be something other than another Gin situation, especially since we just had the Bazz-B/Jugo backstory last week.

| First off, can't say how happy i finally am that the zombie boy & the green haired petite girl finally bit the dust, since they were honestly getting on my nerves for the longest time, although i'm kinda curious as to how Yhwach actually offed them while he's asleep, but i guess whatever. Anyway, loved the hilarious Gintama ending there, where you just fill the time with nonsensical stuff due to how the episode ended early, although i am kinda curious as to why the episode was only a 15 minute one, honestly, but it was good, so i guess whatever too. |
| Ohh so here we are. This is the end of the third act of Bleach Sennen Kessen-Hen. I really enjoyed the Ichigo - Uryu moment there. It's been a while since we don't see them on that rooftop. Jugram is just vibing with that Almighty power xD Yoruichi is so beautiful and powerful, her moment with Yushiro was really funny haha I like the opening theme and the ending theme, they are thrilling and chilling respectively. See you next year, Bleach! I will be hyping you until episode one of the final act releases and we return to this journey again. Soon :) |

| sadly few grimmjow and yoruichi moments weren't enough to save it. overall, was a chore to get through all those lame sternshitters but still slightly better than cour 2. |

| Lmfao Askin with the funny koma segment at the end. Overall I think this was better than even Cour 1. More consistent, more engaging, less dull stretches. Plus all the nice original additions really bolstered the story quality. And of course the production quality and health looked a lot better than in Cour 2. So now we wait for Cour 4’s arrival. |

| Episode 13 was much more solid than this ep 14. I am a bit disappointed with the ending with Askin's monologue... Anyways this was a great coour and better than cour 2 indeed. 9/10 would be my rating. |

| Huh, so Uryu's motivation to fool his friends first before fooling his enemies is very similar to Gin's. Yeah it's nothing new but the question still stands as to how he survived Auswählen. He mentioned something about inheriting his master's (his grandfather) and mother's blood. That explains why he has to bring down Yhwach and his followers without help from Ichigo and co. There might be something hidden in that statement there for now that'll be shown on cour 4, and will hopefully explain the missing link/s. Good thing giant Gerard isn't 3DCGI-animated, unlike Pernida most of the time of it's fight against Mayuri. Then the Visored will have their anime-only fight against Gerard. We also got to see Riruka and Yukio going to Kuukaku's manor, and I believe they'll meet with important people. Now that's something to look forward to in cour 4. Finally Kira appeared! A dead man indeed! Also both Isshin and Ryuken have arrived. Hopefully they'll have more screen time. As for the Bambis, welp, got defeated by a supposedly sleeping Yhwach without showing how; 2/10 for that. Lastly that Askin segment was both hilarious and informative. Askin being the comic relief of the enemy side. So Yhwach had the precursor of the Schutzstaffel from 1000+ years ago, and of course was very different from the current one. Finally got to know that female Quincy's name. |

| >"Who are you?" "A Dead Man" >That ending transition at the end Absolute CINEMA. It's a shame this episode was so short, even if the content itself was very good. Unfortunately, it was mostly used as a setup/build-up episode for the last battles to come. It I had to argue, this was easily the weakest ending of the TYBW series, Cour 1 had "The Blade is Me" (which was the culmination of Ichigo's character) and Cour 2 had Senjumaru and Ichibei's bankai at the end (making it a really strong climax), but this one kinda felt lacking, like it needed a couple of extra minutes. I would've loved if it ended with Ichigo & Orihime facing Yhwach at the end, but it didn't happen sadly. Overall, Cour 3 > Cour 1 > Cour 2, but all of them are fantastic and had great episodes on their own right. neffst3r said: You know what, I'm one of those people that think Byakuya and Kira were supposed to be really dead but Kubo changed his plans along the way and decided to bring them back which is a bit of a bummer to me, but tbh had Kira not showed up again, then we wouldn't have this scene which is one of my favorites manga panels from this arc. Byakuya 100% should've died in the first invasion and Renji should've become captain at the end of TYBW, same as Rukia. Kira is perfectly fine being alive, we still haven't seen his bankai yet and him being one-shot felt underwhelming for a character who still had potential. The anime has elevated it but still having a weaker material to work on has it's limits. I'm atleast enjoying this more than I remember the manga which pretty much felt annoying at that point. Still this season had it's moments with Mayuri and Shunsui episodes. Out of all the parts that have been adapted, Cour 2 is the worst in the original manga. Second Invasion is no-name Quincies jobbing and getting off-screened left and right which you don't give a damn about and have no time getting invested in because there is simply too many of them (As nodt, Gremmy, Bazz-B & the bambies are basically the only ones who get decent screen time/build-up or are recognizable, the Espada/Arrancar were more iconic) and then Squad Zero being a bunch of frauds (which was fixed in the anime, mind you, giving 4 full chapters for their confrontation and demise). Overall though? Cour 4 is the worst part of the arc and needs the most anime exclusive content to be fixed. If they do it though, TYBW would end up as easily the best war arc of the big 3 (One Piece, Naruto & Bleach) and one of the best war arcs in shonen. |

| Well, I am a little disappointed about the final episode, and the reason why is that half of the episode was filler. It was definitely a nostalgic episode, but why did the old Gotei 13 members wait all this time to release their Arrancar forms? And Ishida's fake betrayal was so obvious, but never mind! My boi Kira is back! |

| Cour 3 finished. Yay. Many epic scenes. Many good fights and great animation. Can't wait for the last cour. Ishida's betrayal was obvious, but I wish it was not that anticlimactic. Anyways, see you next year on the last cour. |

| Lots of open fronts for the finale, the Visoreds vs Gerard, Askin vs Yoruichi, Kira’s return, the tease of the Fullbringers, the dads arriving in Wahrwelt... Kind of expected since there was no point to conclusively end the season, Ichigo reconciling with Uryu and them going separate ways to fight their enemies was the best stopping point, really. Liked a lot the added stuff to Uryu’s decision to fake defecting to the Wandenreich like Soken’s narration and truth reveal and that small flashback with Yhwach’s Auswahlen on the human world. I hope they make Uryu vs Haschwalth more fun than in the manga, I trust the anime given the great treatment they gave Uryu this season. The segment with Askin threw me by surprise, but I get it, they wanted to gain time for the unexpected unfinished ending of the previous season. I didn't mind it too much tho, Askin is funny and the info about the previous royal guard from Yhwach was cool. Loved this cour, probably the one I liked the most of the three so far. It had a lot of new content that I loved, gave Uryu the time to shine he really needed and looked better than the previous season. Makes me very excited for the next one, but also kind of sad since we’ll have to wait a lot to get to the next one. I’m gonna miss Bleach so much, really. |
