| Like I predicted Suicide Master's minion was gonna die but I think it was fairly obvious that was gonna happen. My favorite part of the episode tho was finding out Suicide Master was actually still alive and not dead I thought she also died. But when she said I should meet kiss shot oh I was happy that would be so cool. And her reaction to seeing how shes just small asf now and not named kiss shot lol. |

| Is this the end of the arc? What an amazing 2 episodes. Suicide-Master is a great character and I was kind of fond of Tropicalesque too, too bad he died. Absolutely loved the last two episodes, Princess Acerola backstory was better than the first arc of this season, in my opinion. Excellent storytelling from Nisio and of course, voice acting was very good. Shame no new episode next week, can't wait for more headtilts. |

| I really love Acerola resolution to want to become a vampire. “I don't want to waste their death.” She is really such a noble soul. The dynamic between Suicide-Master and Acerola was well-thought-out and built in only 2 episodes. Dynamics has always been (one of) Monogatari strong points, and here it does it again. Such a fluid character interaction. And as I expected from the previous episode, Kiss-Shot's personality is influenced by Suicide-Master, rather than just being influenced, she drilled this act into her. Seeing Acerola try to act in a haughty way was so cute. loli Suicide-Master was also cute. I wonder how Araragi will react if he sees her. I have a lot of praise for Suicide-Master character and her voice actor, Fukami Rice. |
| Too bad they had to skip so many vital monologues of Deathopia. Especially the one when she is consuming Tropicalesque. The animation and OSTs are pretty good though. |

| I'm not sure if that's supposed to be the end of the arc (meaning I don't know if Deathtopia's reunion with Shinobu will count as part of the Bon Appétit arc), but if it is, I must admit I'm a bit disappointed. Don't get me wrong, from a technical point of view, it was pretty amazing, but when it comes to the actual writing... I don't know, I didn't feel all that invested, it all felt a bit too easy. I found Deathtopia's character to be interesting, but her change of behaviour towards Acerola happened way too fast in my opinion, I expected the story to get more in depth with it. And as for Acerola... She's really just a girl who's ridiculously perfect to the point she needs a vampire to teach her how to be a bad girl, and then she decides to become a vampire herself so the deaths she caused will have a purpose (said purpose being for her to feed off their corpses... I'm not sure I like the idea, I mean, killing people to survive isn't exactly selfless, it's almost feral, especially in this context). I just don't really manage to believe in her character, and while I liked to see how much of an influence Deathtopia came to have on her, I'm not too fond of the idea that every single one of her bad traits is her mimicking Deathtopia rather than a genuine flaw. Unless they mean to tell us she always had it in her and Deathtopia brought it up front ? If so then it's not very well shown, and I'm really not sure that's what they're trying to tell us. Overall I just found the arc hard to connect with, and that's a shame because I feel like there's a lot more that could've been made with it. It has some great ideas and interesting messages, there was an attempt at bringing a true beauty to it, but while I really don't find it to be a bad arc... It's definitely not among my favorites. I much prefered the previous arc, quite an unpopular opinion apparently but I found it to have a lot more of what makes Monogatari great to me. This one could've been amazing, but it went by too quickly. I'm still looking forward to whatever is coming. |

| Honestly crazy episode, being loving this backstory reveal start to finish. Was really fun seeing how Kiss-Shot developed her habits, eventually get her name, the slow development of Suicide-Master and Princess Acerola's relationship, and even how Princess Acerola's even ended up as a vampire. The idea of breaking the curse through "ruining" Princess Acerola's beauty by making her act more savage was also a cool way to see where Kiss-Shot's attitude and style originated from being especially starting off as a "princess". Also the thought of "beating a fairy tale with a fairy tale" which eventually led to Suicide-Master's idea for part of Princess Acerola's new name was another cool sequence of events. The lead up to Princess Acerola's choice to become a vampire was also pretty interesting, loved some of the visuals in that scene made it really eerie. Her ultimate reason to turn herself into a monster was as a self-sacrificial act so she could eat those who died for her as a form of accepting them so their deaths wouldn't go completely in vain(?). The development between Suicide-Master and Princess Acerola's i also thought was pretty touching, although the time they spent together was kinda hard to gauge it was nice watching how Suicide-Master slowly started developing feelings towards Princess Acerola, what seemed to be lesser attempts at eating her and just starving out, stopping her from taking her eye out, and what felt like reluctancy to convert Princess Acerola to a vampire trying to talk her out of it knowing full well it was possible however. Understandably it felt hard to really gauge a time frame to how long they spent together, but i think the emotions shown this episode was clear and concise enough to tell it was a while. I'll admit i thought the ending was going to be something bitter sweet like Suicide-Master's final act being converting Princess Acerola into Kiss-Shot before passing. The scenes of her getting younger, and how she stated she, "couldn't die infinitely" all felt like red flags for me, the final scene with the castle crumbling as well i thought was showing her last bit of strength leaving before converting Kiss-Shot, which it retroactively could've been, but realistically taking Princess Acerola's blood probably saved Suicide-Master at the very last minute. The ending scene credits was really nice, i actually thought the arc would've ended there and then but no, listening to Suicide-Master's inner monologue about how proud she was of the type of vampire Kiss-Shot had become and her achievement was really sweet and the drop to a family reunion got me really hyped. Lmao i did also find it kinda funny that after these 600 odd years, Suicide-Master still has a bit of tsun tsun in her towards Princess Acerola and still not completely sure herself what she felt for her. It was cool seeing how she's around though in the modern world and talked about finally deciding to see Kiss-Shot again like old friends. God i am so hyped for the reunion, like, is it going to play out like two long parted friends finally meeting again at a pub? Or more like a parent meeting their grown child after they've moved out. I desperately also need to see how Shinobu will introduce Araragi to Suicide-Master and i her reaction to this information. |

To me those vampire names sounded extremely silly / cringy. I don't know guys but this arc felt the weakest from this season, though it will continue, so there is still time for its redemption.

| That was surely one of the most boring Monogatari episodes I've ever watched. These conversations simply aren't as interesting and I blame the other vampire for that. |
| What a tragic yet beautiful story and origins. Shinobu really learned a lot from her Master (only in title), her behavior, mannerisms, everything about her! Ka-ka and Ha-ha both came from Deathtopia, I see. So the reason why Shinobu laughed with the Ha-ha when she was complimenting Nadeko Sengoku when Kiss-Shot visited her was that she was happy for her. That's nice! Very nice. This was a really good adaptation, I haven't read the original source, but I'm sure this was a good adaptation indeed. We get a teaser from Deathtopia that she's going to be visiting her Slave (only in title), Kiss-Shot, in Japan! Finally, a vampire just like Kiss-Shot, but instead, probably a bit more powerful! There are surely going to be a fight between the Specialists and her, I hope Deathtopia won't end up getting killed though. I hope that Shinobu will notice in time that her Master (only in title) is going to visit her after six hundred years. Honestly, there are so many possibilities! I wonder what they'll talk about! This is going to be so exciting! And they're both in their pre-teens form too, lol. Deathtopia is probably going to be shocked to Kiss-Shot's situation though. And hey, Kiss-Shot was looking for someone right? And according to the fairy tale the last slave of Deathtopia reported, which where only the Prince can lift the curse up, well I guess Araragi is close to that description. Honestly, this is peak fiction! Honestly, those fangs are hella cute! Much like how when Araragi Koyomi met Kiss-Shot Acerola-Orion Heart-Underblade in the underground train station, Acerola said the most unexpected thing an unexperienced person would with clear determination and conviction. I am honestly simping for Deathtopia. She's so pretty, ong! |

| This arc was only two episodes long but it was so great. From the actual storytelling, to the aesthetics and overall production, wonderful stuff in seeing how Acerola became Kiss-Shot. Even the music and the way it was used was splendid stuff here. |
| Thus concludes the origin story of our beloved vampire. That was so good. Shaft never miss with monogatari. So her original name was Laura? We got to see her getting trained into her current behaviour pattern like the laugh. |
