The only explanation I can think of is, Mary offered Claire, her help in saving her "Kidnapped" brother, and Claire just told her to mind her own business. Mary's expression being "WTF is wrong with this bitch". Hence the music just cut off abruptly in an attempt of a deadpan.

this invincible/untouchable/never struggle, lose or even take an L mcs/main group shit is annoying af... especially when the bad guys are all stupid and the girls are overprotected... which is super common nowadays, even outside isekai

I have been questioning myself since episode one, but, I was supposed to find Cid going like a broken record saying the same 5 lines as something funny?

So next episode is already the climax of this arc, and then I expect the rest of the season to cover just the next arc.

It was good seeing Rose again, though she doesn't do much in this arc.

Im not sure. The intro to the show was disjointed from my pov as he started out crow bar batting some marine trained dude, but at that point I think he had already iseka and that was flash back. The whole intro to the show was kind of confusing which world was real or what was going on, so I just sipped some vodka and rolled with it :)

I wish I could get as hype as everyone else seems to be about this show but other than being a "parody" it's pretty much the same run of the mill "I can do anything and no one can stop me and my tseudo harem" shenanigans

I guess there's the chuni gimmick, but I honestly still think it's lame lol

It absolutely baffles me how this show is so highly rated. It takes every anime trope to an extreme- absurdly overpowered MC, ridiculous harem of over 600 girls, pointless fanservice shots, needlessly cryptic voicelines, and somehow it's ranked in the top 50? I get it's supposed to be satire but it's so hilariously bad that being satire is barely an excuse. There's a difference between not taking itself seriously and just having extremely lazy writing. I guess it just continues to show that MAL ratings are pointless and MAL users don't know good shows from utter garbage.

@thieftheodore It seems like most people agree that it's laughably bad. Target audience or not, let's be real, this show has absolutely no right being more highly rated than something like Vinland Saga.

@EcchiGodMamster Hahaha, indeed, I just enjoy mad shit where I can. One of my favs this season is the kenshin redo as well. Im a person of simple tastes. Action and kick ass sceens with a medorice of plot. Takes me back to my teenage years when everything was kick ass and chew bubble gum ;) Although we do stil get some good shows these days
