Wtf...Jean's vision of his wife looks like Mikasa... the mark...
Please tell me they aren't shipping these two together on purpose. D:<

everyone know that jean has crush on mikasa since season 1 so seeing his crush as futre wife is not a bad thing....
and in one scene of this episode jean said to Hange that "Eren has 4 more years to live" (due to Ymir's curse) and this is true... so after 4 years there will be no competion for Mikasa...that is why jean mikasa ship is inevitable....
mikasa never shows any feelings toward jean in whole series,I don't think this gonna happen in end

Garbage episode again
This was even more boring than last episode
Mappa with it's lackluster adaptation again.

I am glad WIT studio is not adapting this garbage and focusing other good source materials and anime originals.
This was a garbage episode lol 😂!!! Good, atleast you succeed in gaining someone's attention.

looks like shitty filler episode with 0 events. just a bunch of useless dialogue that doesn't push the story in any direction. very nice

last 2 episodes were kinda boring , except for floch and gabi and jean moments, this episode hits perfectly, it is like children of the forest episode where every character was at their peak 10/10

but the harsh reality is that eren has to die after 4 years due to ymir's curse
so what will happen to mikasa after 4 years???.... I think that's why now they are building a relation between mikasa and jean...

To sum up, this is basically another slow pace episode like the previous 2 eps...and now we got 3 eps left.
Next episode title: More side chara story

Click at your own discretion

but unlike the previous 2 episodes ,this episode was way better than the previous 2, last 2 episodes were just pointless ,while this episode had some depth, meaning and actually they are trying to do something about the rumbling rather than doing random shit

Not gonna lie, good episode.

But still, why the rumbling and massacre of the whole world, Isayama?

You've got the power (rumbling) that can defeat everyone else, therefore you should be able to make new rules and order for a new world by educating the people about the history of the past and clearing the misunderstandings among nations. Just like what had just happened in this episode.

I still cannot understand this savage decision of Isayama by making Eren the most evil person ever in history. It's just not necessary.

Another extremely emotional episode, they are not characters anymore, they are humans 😭
All Jean wanted was to live a quiet life with Mikasa 😭😭😭
What about Gabi? That's what I call character development, I love you peak fiction 😭😭😭😭
If you're a fanboy, please don't waste my time.

I've waited for so long for this chapter to be animated! And it was directed really well.
Jean finding out the truth and the way he expressed his emotions was really good! Gabi and Falco broke my heart I love them. When Mikasa and Annie had that moment it gave me flash backs again lol.

I personally felt like they animated the episode really good!

I loved this episode so much and I really enjoyed it! It's a 10/10 for me!!!

This episode's dialogue is so intense and heavy that it I almost couldn't breathe in some scenes.
Also I like how Hange cooked the potato soup and talked to calm everybody down.

This episode feels like it was Dementia shit with heavy dialogues, well, knowing Hamasaki.

Speaking aside, i literally anticipated this episode because it's an important chapter for Jean. And it doesnt dissapointing. Jean, i must say, is very understanding and very mature compared to everyone else on the current Co. His argue with Hange really shows that he's also looking at Eren side as well, and the fact he's vouching Eren multiple time is ironically beautiful, knowing Jean dislikes Eren at start.

Lmao Yelena blows that massive reality check to everyone, mockery for mockery from her, i think xD. Jean realized it right away too, but oh boy, Jean, that little sarcastic tone of saying thanks to Yelena is the reason why you gone berserk in next scene lol. Poor Reiner, but he deserves it from Jean and he wanted an act of punishment too, win-win situation i guess?

Also Floch, damn, he's fucking sharp man, he's thinking ahead than all the strategist in Alliance to come to secure Azumabito, his face is hot frfr.

Guess it's time to battle again! To Rumbling or not to Rumbling next week!

"Jean what about seconds?" was the best thing to come out of this episode LOL.

I mean overall it was a good episode in regards to the "message" it was delivering but seems like it was a prelude as to what is to come.

Finally re-watched the episode with subs
The experience is different as night and day, still a little salty that they skipped some nice manga panels but Idm much
God of limited animation, Hamasaki,he loves focusing on the characters and backgrounds too much, the latest episode was pretty much him and his style at an unconstrained display, you can tell Hiroshi Hamasaki did the storyboarding

Solid adaptation and one of the stronger episode direction-wise

For the content,
It was phenomenal as expected.

Overall rating 9/10.

Ah yes, that one chapter that basically addresses all criticism of the hardcore Yeagerist crowd (now the hatedom of this series) regarding the Alliance, so much that they want to ignore its existence altogether since it first came out.

Yeah, this is one of the best ones from the manga overall, and makes for great discussion (even in-universe) regarding the Alliance's pros, cons, hypocrisies and pragmatisms.

Incredibly well adapted through and through, I can really only give this one a 5/5.

This episode was good. It cleared a lot of things up. At first I was like how can they forgive Annie and Reiner. But this episode cleared a lot up. Jean is a walking W. (beating Reiner up and kicking Gabi lol). He was the most realistic in this whole episode.

This episode was painful to watch because of the overuse of backgrounds and still shots, a lot of dialogues felt boring because of the lack of facial expressions and the scene where Jean beat up Reiner had no build up and felt bland.

I always try to stay positive but with each passing week it's becoming very hard to tolerate these low production values.

I feel like the pacing is fine but if the episodes don't deliver then there is no point in slowing things down.

This episode was definitely one of the lower production made episodes. a lot of still shots and minimal changing of scenes. The dialogue made up for it though.

Yelena is still mysterious as always.
