| This episode was so cute! Too bad they dont up in momiji's song from the Original white days fruits basket 2001 episode. I really love that song! I also laughed so much during this episode! I love it alot! |

| Also for whomever has been putting my comparisons onto the Fruits Basket Wiki, I made an error on one of the episode differences spotted. It wasn't Hanajima questioning Kyo's ability to prep for the exam, it was Uotani. I updated my list to correct the error and that should be corrected on the wiki as well. |

| The lady at the inn is very scary but also kind at the same time ^.^; Act?? How mean! I was shocked the moment Yuki asked Tohru about his act XD cuz I tought he was being honest. Great episode! The story about the traveller was very sad :( |

Kimurah said: Another episode where the old adaptation did it better. The fool's tale in the 2001 adaptation had a much better use of colors, with a washed out palette. It gave the sensation of old faery tales. The new one uses a very bright color palette that almost looks like it came out of Disney Studios. The music in the old one is much better by changing the tone once the traveler enters the woods infested by demons. The panning shots in Aquarell colors although quite simplistic it matches with the washed out colors from the story. I did like the ribbon gift scene better in this new adaptation though. It makes better use of wider more detailed backgrounds than the old one and both have that special feeling of being in front of a prince. The new one was better in every single way. Especially the dub. |

| Not gonna lie, I would have always assumed Kyo was a shitty student too. Sort of surprising that he would be the type to lock himself in his room to study. Of course Tohru spent all of her money on chocolate ingredients. That's just like her. I didn't realize chocolate was so expensive, though. Did she just buy so much it was expensive? I enjoyed the unique art style during the "funny story," but that was the polar opposite of humorous. Where exactly is the joke? Anyone mind directing me? Ritchan was funny. Her harassing Kyo for "wanting" to sleep in the same room as Tohru was great. It was bittersweet seeing Tohru bring her mom's picture to the hot springs with her. I almost expected Tohru to pull a Megumi Tadokoro and be a god at ping pong. Not gonna lie, I thought Momiji was way younger. |
| I seem to be the minority in this case, but team Yuki all the way. I can see why people like Kyo, and I'm not saying that he isn't great too, but my heart says Yuki. He's just too kind. |

| what a sweet episode. not much really happened but it was really cute. kyou's subtle flirting with tooru at the beginning of the episode was PRECIOUS. yuki's return gift to tooru was super cute too. onsen lady was hilarious - can't wait to meet her son. also, can we talk about the ending sequence changing a little? it's pretty obvious by now that yuki feels something for tooru, and that just verified it. as much as i love yuki tho i gotta say i like kyou a lot more. mostly i'm just a sucker for tsunderes lol. |

| Nice episode. Momoji is a nice character. His sudden german phrases can be hilarious like when he was like "it means I'll do it" to Kyo n he goes like "no I'll pass" Shigure's 'gift' tho, pfft. |

| Man, the traveller's story was definitely something... I really liked the sequence and the way how they animated it. Not to mention that Momiji's narration was perfect in making the story feel even more impactful. Quite adorable episode overall. Probably, the most wholesome onsen episode I have watched in a while. |
