| Just some brief speculation since It's way ahead beyond the flaw of the manga's point of view. This gives off a very unique charm, giving it a more realistic feel on how Age gaps actually work obviously the realism is flawed in the anime but its still fantastic. Everything just feels so mellowish and the interactions between Kondo and Akira give me life with how sweet they are. Giving those sincere color pallets was filled with of sort depths by regaining how it manage to stay it's certain detail when it assumed to be slow kind of pace. Akira's expression are just priceless as ever... Not less amount of your typical cliche must less about any such romance flick may won't ruined as she pulled the string. Pls released the latest chapter... :p |

| I thought the 1st episode was just okay, but I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. I didn't want it to end! I was smiling through the episode with how cute and funny it was :) The art, animation, music, and how Yoshizawa described Tachibana made that running scene really great. |
| This is very easily one of my favorite anime this season, thanks to the calm artstyle and likable characters. She confessed super quick which seems fair since her obsession was staggering lol. I hope the story will deal with their huge age gap as it has good potential! |

| for all those who are saying that Koudo is so dense that he misunderstood her confession ARE WRONG.... i mean look at the damn age gap.. if I was in his place... i would also have showed somewhat the same reaction.. anyways.. I freaking loved the episode!! these gorgeous visuals are so heart warming! I literally want to tour Japan now.. |

| Really enjoying this show. Much better than Violet Evergarden so far. This show has good visuals and manages to have likable characters along with a compelling plot. Evergarden just has good visuals but an overdramatic plot and characters that so far aren't very endearing. |
| Yeah it's obvious that he'd misunderstand her words. From his point of view she doesn't much care for him. The seemingly stern glares she gives being a key part of it. Also toss in the age gap. Common Sense would tell him there's no way this teen would have any romantic interest in someone of his age. So of course he can't even comprehend that she has romantic feelings for him. The natural conclusion for him is just to be happy that he misunderstood the idea that she hated him. No surprise he can't take it a step further to romantic interest. |

| Now the dude can realize Tachibana has yet to realize he even exist. But thats not important, whats important is my love for the Manager's awkward self is taking off at an alarming rate. Same for Tachibana. What a lovely couple of characters. |

| i love this anime so much that i read all the chapters that came out, what can i say, i didn't remember the confession to be so early, and by the way i don't think the manager understood like you guys are saying. and i totally understand her love for him, he's so adorable, i love guys who are not scared to look pathetic and he's so nice Akira is one of my favorite character ever, she can talk with her eyes only ugghhh i love this anime so much truly a blessing |
| Tachibana attac but Kondou deflec. Pretty good episode, wonder if the manager intentionally pretended to be dense at the end or he is really THAT dense xD. I am not a huge fan of the annoying classmate working there, seems like a unnecessary element to cause a shitstorm, hope Nishida catches him for herself fast before it becomes a problem. |

| I like this episode, it's so lovely! Everything was explained clearly why Tachibana got the injury in her foot. The crews from the restaurant were funny as usual. At the end, she confessed her feeling to Kondo-san but... I do not know if she's rejected, but she is still acceptable. I want more of this. |

| Their interaction... especially the confession part and how Kondo reacted to it, dude was so happy he wanted to order more for her... he is literally treating her like a daughter lol. Anyways whats with people here thinking he was playing it off? he's a middle aged old man, ofc he wouldnt expect that Akira meant it in a romantic way, his reaction was normal. |

| Oh my... I swear I almost had a heart attack when she confessed to him all of a sudden. But of course he had to react like the adorable naive guy he is. This anime is just amazing, beautiful to watch, kinda deep in its own way. I can't wait for more of it! Totally rooting for you Tachibana! |

| This episode shows that Tachibana lives in Yokohama and her train pass through Shinagawa. This means either her school or the cafe lies beyond Shinagawa. I would assume it's the cafe that is north of Shinagawa because she would have easily said something like "the cafe is located between her school and home" when the manager asked why she chose to work there. The average train ride between Yokohama and Shinagawa alone is about 45 minutes and this shows that she is willing to commute more than an hour to work (maybe less since we don't know where her school is located) and back home just to meet somebody she likes. I'd call this dedication. |

| These comments confuse me. Kondou isn't dense. What 40+ year old man would take something as broad in meaning as '好きです' from some youngster as a sign of romantic affection?? Unless he was a creep, which he isn't, he took the statement to mean something more professional (as a co-worker), or of fondness/approval, because he did initially think Akira hated him. |

| I am still happy to have started this anime series, my expectations are fulfilled in all: excellent graphics, evocative scenes where the sky appears and the eyes of the protagonist are so attractive, wonderful backgrounds. The characters already stand out from the background and a good hand is also given by the style of drawing that makes them already distinguishable from each other. I never imagined that there was already a sort of declaration by Akira, what a surprise! |
