| Before this came out I of course thought it'd be like Gochuumon, so I figured I'd like it, but I thought it might not be nearly as good as that. This is really good though! I like Gochuumon, this is very similar, and I like this too! |

Such is cute and nice, I've seen two times this episode. There have been disappointed my expectations, I imagined a sweet and funny story, and that was, I have no regrets. Pleasant characters, as well as backgrounds, detailed, and in some respects even sought. Animations, not really excelled, as well as drawings, but for now I do not care, I just hope it does not drop too much quality in the rest of the season. Even the opening and ending of this anime, I liked a lot. Perhaps this is one of my series, guilty pleasure of the season. |

| Well... that opening just left me feeling weird... the outro was better and I feel like that would have been a better opening and that dancing was SMOOTH AS HECK, but whatever. The characters are very cute and all, but they also kind of weird and throw me off a bit, but not so much so that I can't find enjoyment in them. One thing that bugged me was how the characters were shown short and in chibi style the majority of the anime, but then the bath scene happened. She looked REALLY freaking tall in that bath, like, I seriously, she was pretty dang big. I forget how old people in these anime are suppose to be. Now to see if things get GAY or not. Last thing, people are comparing this to Gochiusa, but I think its more like Anne Happy or Kiniro Mosaic. But that's just me. |

| I checked this out on impulse, without spending much time reading reviews or descriptions. I'm always looking for lighthearted escapist entertainment, and Japan seems to provide a few shows in this category each season, although there seem to be fewer than usual this season. I've often wondered why the Japanese like to take the concept of cuteness and blow it up to the point of absurdity. Last season, there was Nyanko Days - every week, a three-minute dose of cuteness overload. And now, Hinako Note provides exaggerated cuteness in half-hour episodes. Will I be able to absorb this level of cuteness without becoming mentally deranged? I think it is already too late for me. I watched this episode, and I enjoyed it. Furthermore, I look forward to wallowing in the next installment of absurd cuteness next week and for the rest of the season. I think I have found my temporary escape from the drudgery of day-to-day life for the next three months. |

| Finally a cgdct anime for this season. The OP sure has a nice tune to the ears, kept me bobbing my head. Those chibi faces are sooooo cute I want to hug and cuddle them. The ED is cute too gosh I need a doctor. |
| Life of a scarecrow in a metropolitan area must be rather difficult... In that respect, Hinako's frozen stance is quite amusing, after a few moments of getting used to it. The animation and art look pleasant as well, so I am definitely looking forward to more. |
| The first ep was good. A combination used book store, cafe, and rooming house sounds like Heaven on Earth to me. Man, I should have opened a used book store back in the day. The part where Hinako imagines herself as the scarecrow of Tokyo in a trash-strewn alley surrounded by adoring rats was hilarious! The stealth duck in the park followed shortly by Hinako in the bath with strategically placed toy duck and stealth fighter was another good one. I love that kind of simple humor! Surely the bath toys are Kuina's. What's with the "animal magnetism" lately? Last year we had Anne Happy where Ren attracts female animals and Anne is frequently attacked by hordes of animal, then this Winter we have Chiya in Urara Meirochu attracts animals (though this is not mentioned past ep 1 for some reason), and now Scarecrow Hinako. I'm sure someone out there can name at least 10 more characters, but these are what I noticed lately. |
| So Moe GONNA DIE! It's cute if not reminding me of Urara a bit. It's simple, sweet and pretty much as I expected. I've coped with extreme shyness all my life so I can relate with Hinako and I'm sure I'll enjoy this can't wait to see more. |

| Everthing was beign high-quality moe, until... sudden bath scene... and we get to know Hinakos massive... you know... I'm not sure why I had this on my PTW list. Not the slightest regret though. Chibi mode is perfect; characters are loveable/adorable; animation looks really smooth; great op/ed... whats not to love? Literally, never heard of this studio... wonder why, 'cause their work here is outstanding. <3 <3 <3 :3 |

| I laughed pretty hard at the book-eating scene. However, Hinako's scarecrow thing sort of lost its charm by the end (not a good sign). I'm kinda sad it seems like it's going to focus on the theatre troop aspect, I'd rather see a slice of life in a used book shop! |
Cute, relaxing, anti-stress show of the season. The characters are nice, not-Konata is pretty fun with literally devouring literature, I love the blonde little maid, she is adorable as hell. I hope they will tone down the main character's scarecrow gimmick, it's going to get old fast. The theatre troupe plot seems fun and interesting, I'm curious if/how it will develop.   I hope we'll get some of these delicious views in the anime ;) |

| Characters have their enjoyable and interesting sides right from start.. It's nice.. ;P Being a scarecrow.. Poor Hinako.. Also anime is called Hinako note, because we see these notes from times to time?.. Maybe?.. Will see.. Kuina is always hungry.. From one side, it's making me feel for Kuina.. As well as it's funny how she eats pages.. From another, I'm not too big fan of food segments.. Sometimes they can get too long in anime in general.. Like cooking food scenes, for example.. Or characters eating something and commenting on that for like over 10 minutes.. I'm not too big of a fan of scenes like that.. But maybe it'll be fine and not too long of scenes, will see, really.. Dat ass.. At 20:38 or so.. Didn't expect anime would have such ecchi, lol.. Mostly it's enjoyable comedic slice of life so far, though.. Which is good.. First episode was enjoyable.. Both OP and ED have quite nice sounding places, by the way.. |
