I feel like they are in the shadows of µ's. And this will be even more when they visit Tokyo? I mean they always do it like µ's did. They don't try to inovate the new setting at all. | I knew it. I knew this was going to happen. They did really good in the last two episodes and then they've just undone everything. As others have said, this show has such a lack of identity, its just a huge bunch of "I've seen this before". I'm sick of all the Love Live references already so I hope the original girls don't show up next week. I watch a lot of idol shows, and that's because I love them, so I understand some things stay the same, but this is pure copy-paste, where's the effort? I guess I'm critical because I love this genre and I want it to be good, and I know it CAN be good! But it just sucks that it isn't... |

| The ending song was nice I guess. But animation isn't everything. And sadly, the rest of the show is just carbon copy of previous Love Live. Whole episode felt pretty random and disjointed again, and it didn't hold together well. We are still getting many needless throwbacks to µ's and very little amount of original things. Chika's encouraging phrases just feels really empty. Ruby's taihen is stolen Hanayo catchphrase. Even 3rd years attempt to be school idols in the past was expected. But for Sunrise to introduce "saving the school again" theme was simply stupid and it was literally the last straw for this show. Tell me, why should I even care about those new members when all this series is doing is always comparing them to superior µ's? Would it be so hard to come out with some original new story? I bet most of people are not happy this rehash. We wanted brand new Love Live story with interesting characters but in the end what we got is just inferior copy of old series. |

As for the song, catchy, and let's not forget the dresses. They had this elegance and the scenery added to it. Best Aquors performance thus far. |

| Aquors as an idol group has no identity yet. They're basically just Muse 2.0 constantly running in parallel with them. But despite that, I don't see what's so bad about being a carbon copy of the old. In fact, I think this will be an interesting point in the story. Further down the series I can see them having to face this problem. I am looking forward to the time when they'll break out from the shadow of Muse and be their own thing. Not just to be like them but to actually try to surpass them. |

| 3rd years are hard to recruit especially Dia & Kanan because of the past scars that they've gone through when attempting to form School Idol on their past 1st year. To me those three 3rd years weren't lucky compared to Chika in which in just a short time recruited 5 capable members to be a school Idol even tough Dia has the most love and passion on being a School Idol.....well...that's how life works, you put so much effort but no reward and there are others that will put little effort but became viral...lolz just like pokemon GO...gone viral & dangerous... 4/5. |

| It bugs me how the characters and situations are so similar too the original, yet different. But I honestly love this group a lot more than the previous. I don't know why exactly, I just find their interactions and reactions and such far more enjoyable. So I'm happy with this. |

| Welp, it's the same thing like in the previous generation. The student coucil hates idol but in the end, she ended up joining the grup. The school is about to get closed, and that's when the school idol step in. literally the same thing. but regardless, i still enjoyed this episode. and there is something new too about the character. those three girls, the student council, director and the pony tail girl. they were actually trying to become an idol but failed ? tbh, that is something new from love live, not in general, in every anime. so i kinda like that one :D and next episode will be at tokyo. looking foward to it xD but there is no other scene that can beat that Zura scene xD "ZuraaaAAAAA~~~~~ Mirai Zuraaaa!!!!~~~~" that scene is the best scene from this episode. nothing can beat that shit xD "Zura janai! Katsura ja!" lol xD |

| Called it. I knew the school would be shutting down. But oh my gosh that line Mari said to Dia about Kanan. Dia x Kanan is the next Eli x Nozomi I can feel it. I hate how Chika reacted to the school shutting down though. It was kind of like "WOAH LETS SUCK OFF FAME FROM BEING LIKE MUSE AND SAVING OUR SCHOOL FROM CLOSING!" I like how Aqours is taking a different route though. I feel bad for Dia now knowing she tried to be an idol but something didn't work which is why she's hurt by idols. I like the new songs outfits though, they're very pretty. |

| I was definitely skeptical about Sunrise re-using the school closing plot, but the way it was handled by the characters, especially how Chika acknowledges that Aqours can take advantage of this similarity to get more attention, removed my fears. It was definitely a meta joke. It's not a copy-paste like some people say. Still, I'll have to deduct a point for the lack of originality. Apart from that, though, the episode was great. It's my favourite one yet. Every character was utilized and I really appreciate that, plus the scenes were funny too. The song did NOT come from out of nowhere. It was shown that everything was prepared over a few days. What I'm surprised about is that I find every voice out of the 6 to be good. I feel like, while Sunshine does have a similar structure and some common elements with the original, the characters and the way the story moves forward differ. |

| When it comes to closing the school, the narration has gone well, not to be omitted or to be vague, indeed it has made the point of the whole episode, giving more motivation to the choices made and those still to be done. The building of the characters, advances and we know even better those who have so far remained in the shadows. At some moments of the narration you could taste the essence of youth, AH! |

| Instead of revealing it at the beginning like at Otonokizaka, Uranohoshi's school-closing dilemma was introduced at the half-point of the anime and the girls took it in as an unexpectedly positive opportunity to save the school just like how their favorite school idols did. It's a little foreboding that they're so chill about it since there's the possibility that reality could hit them when they least expect it. With the First-years and the Second-years all assembled, it's time to give some attention to the Third-years! The three of them was in a school idol unit together in the past but things probably didn't end so well for them since they're all so tense with each other despite being friends and all. Dia only shows her love for idols when she's alone and Chika caught her in one of those moments but Ruby prevented her from persisting any further since she might get emotional if they mention about how she loved them so openly in the past. Their attempts on making a promo for Uranohoshi were amusing but in the end, they've managed to notify the whole town that they need help by telling them about it when everyone gathered for the pre-beach season clean-up drive with sky lanterns on the side. I really liked the song and the scenery was perfect~ |

| What a nostalgic situations for them that actually pretty connected with Muses first condition. Chika even realized and hyped without any hesitations about it. This girl really had something beyond her personality. I just really love her antic even more now. Eventhough she held the same will as Honoka had, her confidence, her different environment, her kindness surroundings, just built her own personality into pretty much differenciate from Honoka. What a nice direction to built up that situations. Once again, pretty solid episode with a nice development within every girls in Aquors. By taking a chance to explore more about their surroundings. They must be realized an advantages they had, and be more confidence about it. The third class girls must be realized about that too. Its just a matter of time until they finally realized their own feeling and decided to came back to their initial intentions: to be a School Idol. Lets see if the next one will wrapped up the missing thing that happened on the third class group. I just really curious the fuck was happening with them, about Kanan, Dia, and Mari. Obviously Mari had power to prevented the closurement. However, they needed to step forward and forgot the bitter memories of the past. |

| What the fuck, Chika? You're actually HAPPY the school is closing down, just so you can mimic Muse even more rather than having your own identity? This writing is actually ridiculous and just makes me hate Chika even more than I was already starting to. And of course the school is closing down. Heaven forbid this franchise explore any new ideas whatsoever rather than just churning out the same shit that worked before. Even Ruby saying "bad news" is intentionally derivative of Hanayo, not least because Ruby is just the same character archetype anyway. |

I expected this anime to go down its own path with these new girls but instead we are getting the EXACT SAME "save our school by becoming famous idols" be plot we got with the original. So this is essentially a drama rewrite of the original Love Live with different characters. My god. |

| kinda disappointed they're following the same "the school is shutting down" route. Like, it was alright the first time but I can't imagine doing it again will make it any better. Other than that, I hope from this episode we get to see more of Kanan. Compared to Mari and Dia we've really not seen that much of her. Also really just wondering what went wrong when Mari, Dia and Kanan tried to be idols- it looks like they had a massive crowd there. Stagefright maybe? |
