| While it may seem superfluous to the story, from how to make more credible Kennosuke adaptation to modern life, but at the same time you also talk about the other, which makes viewing more interesting. Quite nice, the parenthesis comic view of Yukina's home, a bit of daily activity does not hurt, it makes it more pleasant characters. The drawings and animations are great, there is also a lot of quality in the production design, good PA Works. |

| I actually enjoyed the episode a lot more than I expected I would. Even doing SoL themed stuff, they did a good job of showcasing both Yukina and Kennousuke's characters. I loved how Kennousuke tried to be a man when eating curry, and that scene where Yukina openly complained about not wanting to take him out shopping clinched it for me. The fact that I was in Tateyama for holidays just a day ago, and actually got to walk along the dam and everything around it just made the experience all the more enjoyable, and made watching this show suddenly seem 10 times better than it already was. Felt like I could suddenly relate to the places they animated since I was actually there. Looking forward to seeing more of the story develop. I want to know why his clan just suddenly got wiped out from Japanese history. |

When a show finishes airing, they basically get rid of the scores of anyone who didn't get past like 5 or 6 episodes. Usually people that drop it don't watch that far, so most of their scores get axed. They also remove all reviews prior to completion of the show. Generally this gives you a score bump off the bat as people that finished the show are the ones who liked it. Then the people who abstain from rating until the end do so, which is probably another bump. Like I said, as long as the show stays good the whole way through, the score will certainly go above where it is now. The question is: how far? |

Great I am not the only one that just can't get anything good from this then.... I am going to stick with it for a while since I am also watching Macross Delta my standards are evidently low enough to question but not drop. |
| Wow damn, I'm loving this a lot more than I ever expected. The comedy in this series is pretty hilarious, didn't expect it from this show. Love Ouma's interactions and reactions to technology and adapting in the modern society - it's hilarious af. Curry eating samurai was good. Lol underwear. Overall, I'm enjoying this show much more than I initially expected~ Can't wait for more. Definitely an underrated show. Oh and the OST is really good. Love the balance between the serious drama moments and comedic ones too. |

It was entertaining episode, it was funny. So, they both are 18... well, this is one of those few anime I can find logic in that age, I mean: Yukina is 18, she should be already in the university, but it's something one can easily overlook. Ouma comes 450 years from the past, I assume in that era 18 years was a common age for a young samurai/warrior, so it is easily accepted. Yeah, I can take this. Koharu killed me with that voice over Ouma eating curry xD |

| This is surprisingly good. I just started this and am looking forward to more! Really not a fan of mecha, but the Transformers vibe is acceptable. I'm glad to see a lot of accurate depictions and understandings of things. I was totally afraid he'd see the samurai movie and not complain at it. I was pretty amused at his yelling at the screen - and his curry idiocy. It's not every day you see a good person sent to the wrong past/future scenario played out well, much less in anime. | The "lost in another time period" episode I wanted to see. He's 18 years old and seems so much taller than the heroin. Weren't people in the XVI smaller than now? (particularly in Japan because of the regime and the sitting way) Yukina seems so little as a modern days girl compared to him. Also, what was that about the curry rice? He says the rice is what "commoners" were eating, but I thought it was the base dish among the other society levels too. | This anime is almost destroyed by awful translation. There is many groups active and dead gg suddenly awaken and started doing usual liberalized trashsubs. | Two last episodes the characters got developed. This series is better than it looked from the first episode at least. The main girl is still not to my liking though. I expected episodes like this and they had the fact that he was from another time to play along as comedy for this non action episodes so that helped them along but reacting funny to new tech and ways wil run out. I guess they expect to be going full action by then as to not get stale. We will see. the demons being aliens was quite obvious considering they are mechs that fell from the sky and we had Mars mentioned in the first episodes. The actual mystery is how did people of that guys period had mechs to fight them. Some other alien civilization helped them by giving those to them or did humans built them in the even more far past and then they lost from the aliens and few were left and had to start all over again just to reach where we are now? |
