| Dat Isshiki dream XD Delinquent Megumi lol Nikumi and Takumi's interactions were fun :D Erina was cute with all her flustered reactions and when she saw Souma nxt to her <3 Too fabulous with her dish making everyone Kneel over XD Alice's voice wasn't what I expected but she was cute when she was getting angry at Ryou XD Megumi already getting proposed to lol XD Can't wait for Souma's loli to come to the rescue :P |

| Another great episode for food wars!!! The beginning with soma being so muscular and megumi all agressive was hilarious xD More Erina!!! Yeshhh I just hope she stops being so stubborn about not liking soma's food D; Oh boy the buffet, and some had less than 10 servings?!? Hopefully he does something amazing!! |

| Nice to see that Food Wars is not like every other shounen anime. This episode, and the last, show that Souma is not god and that he can face defeat. Granted he'll overcome it, but in most other shounens the main character wins without much effort. Whether he should have or not. |

| Well that was a hilarious dream xD I'm glad that Alice was finally introduced and I can't wait for more Kurokiba Ryou as well~ I suspected that they'd end with a cliffhanger at that scene when I considered the length of this event in the manga and how little time was left in the episode when they began the test. Best moments for me were Alice's introduction and bumping into Ryou as well as Megumi being asked to marry that guy's grandson xD |

| Shokugeki does not disappoint! Definitely was looking forward to see how this challenge was gonna be done. So far, well done. Essentially all the important characters are succeeding except Souma. Now to see how the anime does how he identifies and deals with this problem. And all hail those egg Benedicts! ლ(´ڡ`ლ) Thank god I was already eating something while watching that episode when it got to that part. xD |

| I have a question. How did Megumi and Erina able to acquire quail eggs and dried roe eggs for this "surprise" exam? I don't think those are easy to acquire even if this is a prestigious school, or at most they should have a lot of stock of these so all students can use them. Since this is an exam, everyone should have access to these kind of eggs as well. |

| This challenge is actually impossible if it were real life. Especially some of the more complex servings. It averages out being a dish every 36 seconds. |
| Isshiki's dream at the start was epic. Soma with muscles everywhere and Megumi acting like a hot-tempered badass, I want more of that! =D The challenge itself sounds like torture. One person could stay up all night practising their dishes until they get it right, but due to the lack of sleep, they might lack the energy to produce 200 dishes perfectly within the time limit. Another person could be very confident in their dish that they get a good night sleep. The downside is that they need to make sure that they can produce all 200 dishes perfectly. If the dish isn't good enough, then they'll use up precious time making tweaks to the dish until they get it right, but they might not have enough time to produce the required amount of dishes. Either way, Erina makes it look very easy anyway, and boy does she look smug (seeing her wearing gold and a crown on her head in the guy's foodgasm makes her look fabulous =D). Considering how Soma is struggling badly, no surprises that her smugness will increase ten-fold in the next episode. Overall, another great episode. Knowing J.C. Staff, I won't be surprised if the new OP/ED is used from episode 17 and onwards, considering that they did the same with Toradora and most the Raildex franchise. |
| I think now I understood the ending card. They probably added it recently because of the new marriage ruling for the US? That's actually pretty cool. I can't get over how good this shows OST is.. And I love it when they start playing the ending during the last scenes, just leaves me quite happy when the episode is over. |

| This episode was great! I've been waiting for this arc to happen ever since I saw Souma flipping those omelets in the OP. :P Isshiki's dream at the beginning was hilarious; Fist of the North Star and Tadokoro being a delinquent was badass. xD Alice and Kurokiba finally appear! Alice's voice is different from what I'd expected; I was expecting a more deeper voice but it still sounds nice. Aldini, Nikumi and Tadokoro seem to be on track. Erina nailed the task easily with her egg benedicts though; those look so damn delicious. I laughed pretty hard when those judges came up to Tadokoro's area and that one guy with the glasses asked her to marry his grandson. xD Souma is struggling with servings?! What will you do, Souma? ;) 5/5 |

| Evolution is always present, this episode is no exception; good, which makes it intriguing vision. See new characters and a greater involvement of people like Erina Myth and to the detriment of Soma, the most fervor in history and makes it even more vital. Another point in favor of the episode is the almost complete maturation of Megumi who leaves the nest, which is represented by Soma. Pleasant and fun designs in its many variations, good animations; the ending is really full of expectations in many ways. Excellent also the scene where Alice meets Soma, by way of showing Alice in a different light, making it more friendly to all, than when we saw her at the beginning. Very tempting dishes on offer, but no one seemed innovative reworkings were not too far from the originals, then I do not think in the morning one wants to eat some hoarse so heavy, I want something light and delicious, but do not overdo it with the condiments; I hope to see many other dishes in the next episode, I might spark ideas for breakfast. |

| It's nice to see Souma-kun struggling for a change, since he's pretty elite most of the time. I have no doubt though that he'll manage to overcome his difficulties next episode. It was nice seeing Erina again as well, she hasn't had much screen time since her food orgasm way back when. I really want to like her, cause she's hot, but so far she's shown nothing but a haughty Princess bitch side, so it's making things difficult for me. Oh well. I laughed at Takumi Aldini yelling at Souma clear across the gigantic room, and Souma with no idea what he's saying. lol |
