I WANT MY SEQUEL NOW!

Overall great ride.
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

The only good part of OVA is D'Arby the Gambler and everyone knows it lel
It is so dense. Every single image has so many things going on.

That was so damn awesome. Polnareff's goodbye was pretty touching and the end to Dio was epic as expected.

Would be crazy psyched if they announce part IV being adapted, as I've heard really good things about stands in particular from here on out.

Not the point. The fight in general just felt like a final fight to me and was more rough and tumble. This fight didn't have that for me and it just felt flat.

A personal opinion.

DP followed the manga, APPP changed the fight. Jotaro throwing a building just feels off. I mean yeah, he's strong, but there's no indication that he should be able to tear a building in half and throw it like a javelin. DIO is able to do the road roller because of his super strength, which is even more amplified after drinking Joseph's blood. Also having them throwing giant things at each other before the road roller (which I think they changed to a boat), kind of ruins the entire thing by making it not shocking.

Dio's end was very anticlimatic. Would have preferred a massive ora ora ora during Jotaro's stopped time rather than a punch vs a kick.

Other than that, I really enjoyed the ride. Part II is still my favorite part, but for changing up the format of the show so drastically, this was good.

I purposefully didn't read part III because the show was airing. I did skip ahead and read part IV though and it's a close second to part II for me. The creativity with the stands and fights are a lot better than in part III.

I can't wait for that (also about half way through part V. So much swag in part 5)

A show where stands exist, vampires roam around, people can do blood transfusions to an almost dead vampire body and you are uncomfortable with Jotaro chucking a building? Really? You can't be serious. The show isn't meant to be thought through a logical sense with the number of ass pulls they do but rather just to enjoy the ride.

Wow. A punch to the shin. Poor Dio. Interesting to see that Road Roller get so much fame. Also, the over-the-top absurdity of this final fight really sold it. Can't really complain when the end of the previous parts were pretty similar.

Joseph also has no sense of crisis. All in all, pretty good ride. 8/10.

It ruins the flow of the fight and takes the impact away from the road roller scene. Those are my main complaints with the segment they added of them throwing things at each other.

I also don't like how the OVA removed great moments like the gasoline and x-ray punch. The scene with DIO on the bus is the only thing I liked that they added.

Agree to disagree then. I thought the OVA parts where fantastic and added a level of grandness to the fight.

There is something called suspension of disbelief, look it up. Every series no matter how crazy and over the top, has an internal logic, that it shouldn't stray away from.

And I respect your opinion. I'm just saying that, in my opinion, the OVA is really dry compared to what I just saw today from David Production.

The OVA was one of my favorite anime in the 90s, but I think DP's adaptation blows the OVA out of the water. The art, animation, sound, music, voice acting, pacing (which isn't as rushed), everything is much better.

True but we never really got gauge on how powerful his stand is. We know it can punch through walls quite easily and send people flying miles away, who is to say he isn't able to lift a portion of a building and chuck it?

It depends on the size I guess. When I read your post I imagined, a shop size. I think anything above a road roller should be above his Star Platinum strength.

Literally everything that Steel Ball Run is acclaimed for Stone Ocean did first, but Part 6 haters like you have their heads up too far their own ass to acknowledge that. The only reason Steel Ball Run turned out better is because it moved to being a monthly series and had more planning and time to execute it better. Part 6 is up there with SBR and Diamond is Unbreakable.

I think the Part 4 teaser could have been somebody grabbing the ___ and _____ off of the wall in Dio's mansion, but oh well.

Amazing episode and a great finish to a overall pretty good adaptation. I still wish they had paced the show better and skipped some of the lamer fights in the first half, though.

How is the OVA better than DP????

OVA was shitted on for years. Go back to the time that there was only OVA and not the DP version. HOW FUCKING BAD WAS THAT?

Now sure u could appreciate the liberties they took with the OVA cause u have the perfect adaptation of DP.

And it's all over. Well, part 3 is over I mean. Still Dio is dead (that sadden me, but I sure hope he stay dead) and the JoJos are coming home.

Also, those goddamn seconds that sometime last around 5 seconds and sometime 2 minutes. JoJo, never change.

Joseph gave me some tears when his soul went away... Until he get revived up. I'm pretty sure his brain should be completely dead, but man, fuck logic, it's JoJo! What logic am I even talking about! Impossible and Muda Muda Muda are meaningless words in JoJo!

Farewell, JoJo! Until next time!

This adaptation always exceeds my expectations , I always come by not expecting much since you know they follow the manga very very closely.

As for the ending , didn't jotaro's timestop at sec 9 extend it to 11. I don't know why they didn't say that though. and Dio can only move for 9 seconds inside the stopped time thus Dio couldn't move anymore.

I seriously wonder what do you think about SC that's better than BT

BT had a nice, developing plot with unexpected happenings (even the own fucking main character dying) and fights that used real strategy

What we have in SC, monster of the week format with 80% being boring with power coming out of characters asses, Deus Ex Machina all the way

I felt this for some other lines as well. They sounded great being delivered in ASB but that's basically CC's voice directing VS DSP's voice directing. And judging based of .hack//, CC really likes screaming in their stuff so no wonder it felt stronger (not that screaming is bad sometimes)

shrugs oh well

Also now that i think about it, part 1 had a preview for part 2 that wasn't in the manga
