Quite a variety of events happened this episode with little relation to each other.

That ending was rushed. Chifuyu coming home to no one, and then suddenly quitting school. WTF In less than two minutes.

Satomi-sensei's boob mountains though, that shot of Sagami and Andou's heads on top of them

Hatoko's underwear with frills and pockets big enough to store tennis balls :S

I rated 3/5 on this poll, but I'm kind of thinking that I should have given it a 2/5. Sagami's character introduction was...ok I guess. Why did the 4 girls from the literature club stop walking just to talk about Andou? That talk was bland. Only the talk between Andou and Kiryuu about chuuni and names was quite interesting.
I don't consider myself a good judge.

Idk this show makes me cringe at some parts, Idk certain parts feel exaggerated. It isn't a bad show, it just tries too hard to be good.

Well some of it was decent, too. I just hope it improves soon.

Too much Chuunibyou this episode.
And what the hell was wrong with that guy judging by what Tomoyo said he should be in his twenties but the way he spoke too her he should be a shamed of himself.
Asking for money from his dad at his age and the way he did it, that was the epitome of lame and a failure of an individual.

Then there was the note book, just what's wrong with the French word for life?
And how can you come to a fashion brand when you hear a Chuuni say it?
Personally when it comes to cool sounding words i would say French>>English but that could just be me.

Wow, epitome of failure? Kind of harsh since we don't know almost nothing about him yet xD
(or maybe it's just me because in my country is pretty common to people at his age live by their parent's money)

And I also did not really get the joke with Vivre. I can't see how that's funny :v

Hu... It was well explained, he wanted to write Bible but wrote Vivre instead...

4/5

In this episode seems to have changed all of a sudden the narrative, we focus more on the collective under the introspective point of view.
Not bad, considering that there is also a widening of the cast!
The Plot is uncertain, but after this episode, I have a small chance that it can get to the bottom of this TV series.
The drawings and animations seemed of decent level, let's see what happens in the next episode, just to be sure of my insights.
The ending is really nice! XD

Woaaah, I'm mind blown. How did that guy choosed their names before they even had their powers. And what did he meant by it was once my other name, ''dark and dark''? Does is dark flame come from him? If so, he probably knows its utility... right?

It was a good episode. Um, pretty impressed with Jurai's kanji ability. It's because of his Chuuni-ness tho ww Chuunibyou was defined a lot in this ep and let's say it was quite interesting. The widening of casts was good as well.

Speaking of which, I went back to the first episode after seeing Tomoyo's niichan and seems like he's no ordinary chuuni dude. I mean, HE WAS HANGING UPSIDE-DOWN IN THE FIRST EP AND HOW CAN SOMEONE DO THAT SO NATURALLY AGH- *ahem* which explains how he knows Jurai's "Dark and Dark". Hajime-niichan seems like he's an OP genius before he became a chuuni so yea.

Anyway- I'll be honest, I got bored watching halfway through the episode and paused for an hour before continuing. I wanted to give the anime a chance so I did. Boredom went away when Tomoyo came in and stuff. Ending was a bit of a cliffhanger. Is Chifuyu alone or something? Argh, now I wanna know what happens next ww stillthatsteinsgatereferencetho

I like this series so far, but this episode is a bit confusing to me. I can't tell whether or not the girls like Andou or not. I know its supposed to be for comedic affect, but sometimes their interactions make no sense. At points they're respecting while in others completely trashing him for no good reason. That's what I mean by their interactions make no sense sometimes. I'm getting kind of annoyed with the characters, especially Tomoyo.

I think Tomoyo's brother knows that they all have powers because he read the "Blood Vivre".

Studio Trigger did not lose their way! I seen hints and speculated after watching episodes 1-2. But now I'm sure, this is another great Trigger anime. :D (well Kill la Kill and Little Witch Academia were better, l only ones I watched of Trigger I believe l but this ain't bad by any stretch of the imagination)

Well I didn't expect much anyway, so I was pleasantly surprised. I already am enjoying this more than I enjoyed that Chuunibyou shirai anime. The main character is really amazing. IMO the best main character this season (discounting Shiroe from Log Horizon....)

Loved that Kill la Kill live fiber tennis racket <3

They need to keep it up. More MC Chuniyo scenes would make this even better.

So, the mysterious character from the end of episode 1 has finally been revealed. Hajime is pretty interesting. I wasn't expecting him to get along with Andou so well.

And why was Chifuyu's house so empty? I'm guessing that she lives by herself?

Actually the pre-release promo stuff said that Chifuyu is the daughter of the club's faculty adviser (who I think is the teacher we saw at the beginning of this episode). That's why she started coming to the meetings even though she's still in elementary school (the others are middle schoolers). So assuming that's all correct then she doesn't live alone. We don't know what's up with her parents, although my first impression of her mom, if that is her mom, was that she seems like a bit of a flake.

You shouldn't tell other people how they should act. Also, it is very rude to tell another person that that person is a failure. That is very rude.

Maybe you can tell us how people are supposed to act based on their age.
What i meant is that he is acting tough while he leaves on his father's money, not to mention the way he spoke to his little sister and tried to force he to tell his dad to give more money.
Then he leaves the restaurant without paying leaving the bill up to a high schooler.

I think there is nothing wrong with students or people looking for a job that are receiving money from there parent's.
Since their actively looking for a job.
I also don't care if someone wants to live differently or behave differently.
But people who suddenly drop out of university that start living from their parent's money and not bothering to look for a job and then start bragging is something i do mind.
Let's be honest that's not something to be proud of or to be bragging about.

People can drop out of Uni but at least be sure you can make your own money.
If you wan't to be different or act different sure go ahead but do it with your own money not someone else's, even if this behaviour happens to be that of a 14 year old. (No offence intended)
If you wan't to brag do it with money you earned yourself do it with your own achievements not someone else's achievements.

Good ep. Enjoying this quite a lot :3

Hajime was pretty lol XD Why do I have a feeling his phone call was actually talking about some kind of real war and not just some Okarin chuuni shit XD

Nice character development was going on this ep ^^

I have to say I was definitely reminded of Okarin from Stein's Gate here. Actually, I can't help but feel a subtle resemblance between Okarin and Andou. From his conversation with Hajime there was a line where Andou questioned whether Hajime really thought he was a chuunibyou.

Additionally, the girls seemed to elude to the fact the he always seemed to accidentally solve there problems with his chuunibyou. Though, I don't think he has necessarily never been (or currently isn't) chuuni; it is more likely that one of the point's Trigger could focus on would involve his use of innocent delusions (chuunibyou) to solve other peoples problems (perhaps on purpose.) Of course, this is just speculation and there isn't enough evidence to substantiate any of it. Though, in the most recent episode (episode 4 spoiler below)

(For those who haven't seen episode 4 yet, basically what I pointed out in the above spoiler seems to support the idea that Andou "might" have the wit necessary to pull off such a "chuuni facade" as I was pointing out beforehand. Additionally, the way in which he ends up "saving" them involved redirecting injury and insult to himself whilst creating a fake persona for himself that cleverly masked and paralleled what was happening behind the scenes.)

When you then take into account the fact that Andou seemed to at least have the intelligence to not only ace his kanji test, but also use kanji much more difficult and obscure than he'd be expected to know (in a playful manner) during his test, it seems as though there could very well be more than meets the eye with Andou.
Of course, it may just be that they are playing upon the established archetype for chuuni in which they are usually portrayed as writing focused individuals (mostly due to their desire to write down the fantasies which delude them).

Also, and I may have missed something here, it seems as though the principal (Chifuyu's aunt) is way to reliant upon Andou though he is just a member of the literature club. You'd think she would go to a dependable person, such as the Student Council President, that could be relied upon to do "the right thing" (in other words, someone's who's job it is or would be expected to be able to resolve the two issues involving Chifuyu that we have seen as of episode 4). Perhaps she has recognized to some extent some part of Andou's hidden character (not so likely) or she has a history with Andou we'll get to see in further detail later on. In any case it seems that she knows he can be relied upon.

Wow, I didn't mean to write this much. Sorry for that, hopefully this wasn't just rehash of what has been said, I didn't get around to reading all the posts.

Meh. Actually the only things which I like are OP and animation, which looks just nice. But story is even more trash than 2nd season of chuunibyou. I love school SOL, but this one is just maybe not boring, but just kinda frustrating.

The club plays tennis well except for Chifuyu enjoying the sun, This fanservice scenes damn I'm starting to love it and some spicy camera angles to a very nice sports scene as such, They shared a part of their story relating to Andou
