| I actually was waiting this anime(cus horror tag)... until i saw it was 3 minutes long. I really dont expect much from this anymore since it's only 12 episodes long AND ONE EPISODE IS 3 MINUTES LONG!!! Oh Yeah, the name... I thought Buddy Complex is shitty name for anime :D Im not gonna drop this,cus,ironically, it's only 3 mins long and in that time you dont even bother to care about it's "story" |

That all happens in the first 20 pages of chapter one, which was currently adapted in episode 1. That isn't the story. That is the backstory. The Story just involves her eating him and you solving the "mystery" of why she needs to eat him and stuff. |
| Calling this horror is like calling Snuff Films horror. As Keys said before, people just want to see the sister eating people. Also, the sexy "onii-chan" pv that made it seem like he would fuck the sister made people excited. When you call them out on it though they just say they wanted horror. Same thing in mirai nikki fans. |

| Well, theres actually supposedly 30 chapters if you count ones that arent translated or some shit, so maybe later it gets better. I just know i breezed through the first 6 chapters in 10 minutes while in the bathroom. It's definitely a light read. |

| Goodness gracious. Alright, if you're interested in Pupa, I strongly suggest reading it for yourself before you let others try and tell you if it's bad or not. People can say "don't bother, it's awful" all they want, but you might actually enjoy it if you give it a shot, you know? Pupa is most certainly not for everyone, just judging by the fact that it's pretty openly an incest series, full of cannibalism and school-age kids being torn apart and tortured. But damn, if the premise sounds good to you, then go and read/watch it and ignore whatever anyone else has to say. Form opinions yourself, right? Hopefully you'll actually find it worthwhile, and if not? That sucks. But there's other stuff out there. And if you don't like it, you could probably find something better to do than lurk a thread related to it and try and make people think the same way you do. |

In this case, if they had to make it a short, they could have at least doubled the length of the episodes to make the story flow a bit better. |

Well, all in all, it's nothing special, felt like fanmade crap. This title only has one thing - blood - and it tries to be shocking so much, well. | the agonizingly long wait after i started reading the very compelling and twisted manga, then found out it would be premiering in the fall......but wait, no show, and then found out it would be starting in january (a bad sign usually)......and then to find out its' another 4 minute tidbit of a show.....massively painful - all that said, i thought the art/animation was very original and captured the manga well - the only problem is there's no way in hell this will be more than a tiny fraction of what could have been (think repetition of litchi hikari club)....oh when will japan send us a great new horror masterpiece in anime form (that doesn't have all it's guts ripped out by those nitpicking gov't right-wing small-minded s@#t-eating scumbag censors - there's surely a warm place in hell for them)? |
