Though I did notice that she started acting odd this episode and even in the previous episode's preview for this one. Heck, I thought that this was gonna end in Megumi getting angry at Mari, telling Mari to pay more attention to others' feelings -- kinda like the revelation that Shirase underwent a couple episodes prior, on the subway, when she realized she hadn't been caring about others' feelings and Hinata basically said "You're just now realizing that?". Looking back at previous episodes, I think it's only in the previous episodes where Megumi starts acting a bit weird, and it's rather subtle. There is one scene leading up to that in episode 3, but that's still more Megumi behaving rather normally then reacting to Mari's actions. I wouldn't have suspected her to be behind this stuff from the getgo. The only way that'd make sense, in my opinion, is to have the understanding that Megumi was (consciously or subconsciously) trying to keep Mari around because it gave her a purpose in life, but this wasn't clear at all. I also figured that someone had just overheard them to know about the money, so I think this subplot would have worked better had that been sus in the first place. I agree with @MasterGhost and @Tarotist that this plot line was handled rather abruptly and with @HerrSaitamaX's take in that I think this subplot seemed somewhat overly dramatic in what Megu did. And I agree with SeaJaeger that this might have been averted if there was more screentime to show her thoughts. |

| Well hints were always there, and this episode just confirmed the obvious. Megumi being no longer able to carry that feeling of casting aside did something so unfriendly, well jealousy is a dangerous thing for a reason. Though that didn't stop the girls and more specifically Mari with her determination, so better forget about this 180 seconds of drama. Journey started finally. |

| In a way, I guess I can see where Megumi's coming from. It's understandable to feel that way, and it was better that she talked to Kimari about it. It sucks when friends move on without you, but I really hope they remain friends at the end of everything. |

| If it was me I were bot forgive Megumin. I understand that she is insecure, jealous and depends on Mari in very unhealthy way but I actually can give zero fuck. It one thing if she were cold to me , in an angry moment calling me names to my face tell my mom, try to make me rethink my choice just for her sake. This things we can talk and forgive if oyu understand what you did is wrong but not put my other friend in a dangerous position towards money and make rumors about me and my friends doing prostitution and shoplifting. This Im not gonna accept. This actually shows how dangerous your jealousy is and I dont wanna have this type of risk in my life. Not only me you put my other friend in bad position |
This episode was definitely an emotional one. Megumi and Mari their goodbye was a tough one, but I’m glad Mari decided to reject her break up and also very glad that Megumi is making her first step for own life. She deserves it just as much as anyone else :) |
| This episode was so emotional. Megumi admitting how much she relies on Mari to fulfill a purpose for her and wanting to break up just to have Mari reject her break up hit so hard. Mari is a really good friend for seeing that Megumi needed her despite everything she did. This show keeps on getting better. |
