Hello! I started watching anime again after a long break. I'm always looking for recommendations so feel free to start up a conversation. I like slice of life, supernatural, and mystery but I also enjoy other genres as well.
i also like meeting new people so if you want to discuss anime or hobbies as well send me a message! I enjoy music of most genres so feel free to send me a recommendation. I also love sports, games (especially RPGs), reading (mystery and classical literature are my favs), and art of all sorts so feel free to send a message if you want to chat about any of it!

I actually took a trip myself to Japan back in October. It was a super cool time overall - lots of great food and places to see!
Holidays have been pretty swell. Nice to get some days off of work and just hang out with friends and family. How'd your holidays go?
I've been watching a lot of seasonal anime. My favs are Yakuza Fiancé, Mecha-Ude, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest, Dandadan, Blue Exorcist s3 and Blue Lock s2.
I'm watching Blue Box too. The animation is beautiful but I'm not too into the story.
I hope you enjoy MHA. S2 is my fav.
Awe, that's nice. Then it must be a great movie.
I do. Spirited Away. It's the first anime movie and Studio Ghibli I watched. I've lost count of how many times I've watched it.
Do you have a fav Studio Ghibli movie?
I see you started watching Dandadan back in November but didn't have much time since, just like me. However, the main reason I didn't continue Dandadan is that I prefer to watch it with Hun fansubs and there are only 7 translated episodes so far. The translation is so creative, I don't want to switch to English. Anyway, it's a chaotic, perverted, but at the same time heartwarming mess, and from the second episode I was convinced.
I knew I forgot something last time, I didn't answer your question!
Yes, there are a few people. H0ppip, jieanteater, viraat_pirate, karioka-, Shizuna, and of course you! :) And others I didn't mention. It's unrealistic to meet anyone but who knows?
Currently I've been busy with Uni related stuff: a team project, my thesis, and finding an internship, but now I'm "free" and I can relax. And by relax I mean answer the messages from my friends. :)
Viraat started an interview series a few months ago and this month it was my turn! (you can check it here) Yesterday I decided to finish it at any cost, so I stayed up all night. All the users who asked questions were pinged so they could read it I guess? It's a bit bothering that I put so much energy into it and only got one "I'll check on it later" feedback. But it's almost Christmas so it's understandable that they are busy. And also it's very long. ^^'
Speaking of that, you left your workplace again? Seemed you were doing better this time, no? Was it wage issues, time schedules or what? Even considering my life I'm glad I don't have a boss, but I can't afford not doing anything.
Haunted hauses and amusement parks, aww that sounds SO American. Nobody really does anything cool, fun or properly spooky here. Horror screenings, music evenings and prison visits is the best I could find. Parties are usually dumb, events are mostly child-oriented and it's not like we have countless castles nearby. This ain't no Halloween Town (just seen The Nightmare Before Christmas, at last). Did you do trick-or-treat as a kiddo?
I'd vomit my guts out and/or have multiple heart attacks on a rollercoaster. Not putting a foot on one even for a million bucks. Haven't you seen Final Destination 3? I dare you.
Ah, the dinner was organized by a comics shop in the city - Rena doesn't have friends since highschool desu~ and I only have my mother and grandfather as 'close family I see often'. Honestly, don't you get depressed/bored with reading this rotten neet? I bet you're a good, outgoing and approachable Golden- I mean guy :P
...And despite that, you hated watching Lovely Complex even more than me! That wasn't so lovely huh. Am I wrong in thinking you don't mind animated romance per se? As a rec writer, I'm sorry to cannot suggest you anything since I haven't seen/read 80% of your faves (and probably will never do so). Slice of life, school life or cute girls' lives are not for me :(
Yusuke is one of the better shounen protagonists, and YYH is truly one battle shounen worthy of a rewatch, unlike the dumbfoundedly overhyped DBZ. I'm finding My Hero Academia rather childish and dull too.
My shelf is dust-free, Promised Neverland is intriguing and disturbing enough, I've read eight volumes so far. With JJK I'm only at #2 + the prequel. Hikaru's fifth volume came out this week so I'm hyped to catch it. You haven't been reading any manga at all, have you? Any new, nice films or shorts to suggest?
Yes, rain is the most relaxing thing if you're indoors, warm and cozy under a blanket. When you gotta walk the dogs, keep the garden/house clean or go to the lake, it's just a pain in the ass. I'm more of a snow lover myself, when everything just stops and stays silent. Sadly, it's been years since I've seen it. Does it snow aplenty in winter where you are?
No, aside from London (four times), Africa and Greece (both once and it was enough), I've never been abroad. The US, especially California and the parks, and Japan are the destinations I long for, although there are endless more. Remember the feral fright of rollercoasters? Planes are a close second. Do you fly often?
I don't live near the notable venues for concerts and the festivals, although big are not on par with other European countries, but most tours usually include at least one date. Lots of manga get published and anime licensed too, and we have two or three massive comicons yearly. Entertainment is not the issue. Do you usually buy your manga or read them online? Are you a conventions enthusiast? Got any KAWAII AF merchandise?
Also, what was the logic behind those repetitive episodes?
I've never watched the Suzumi anime but I've read equally good and bad things about it, esp about those 2-3 eps that were the same?
What are you thinking of changing yours to? Hopefully, something brighter/more colourful
Been meaning to ask that for a while now but I kept forgetting to actually ask you.
Yeah, I visited family from April to about end of August and moved into a dorm right after. If you do visit be sure to be smart about when you buy the ticket and how, I think everyone should come here at least once.
Ardennes is on my bucket list too. I'm most interesting in visiting Sweden, Finland, Poland, Scottland. Mostly for the scenic parts of these countries.
i ask because it's one of my fave manga
and i watched a couple eps at the start but wasn't sure if it's worth continuing
